Recorded with a Samsung S23 Ultra with no post editing. Meshuggah still brings it to this day. An excellent set performed flawlessly. Last time I saw them was 21 years ago, opening for Tool at UMass Amherst. I just wish there was another 30 minutes to this set list.

I have the same phone. Everyone that I show my concert videos to always says the audio is really good for a phone. The folks over at Samsung know what they're doing.
It sounds perfect......thats the glory of it.......We get to hear the massiveness of the natural sound......Great job.

I've never gotten to hear Fred actually solo here, usually he just holds a few notes and bends them (on the album there's _definitely_ a solo there, its just lower in the mix. Nobody even bothers to include it in guitar tabs for the song). It always struck me as weird, awkward even, cause I never understood why no one not even the band acknowledges that solo lol. But hearing it here... mind=blown.
This band is fucking incredible live. Dont think ive ever seen a more powerful onslaught of metal mayhem. Closest thing is Gojira. They've gotta be the 2 best live metal bands on the planet right now.

Totally having seen both aswell over here In the UK live metal really doesn't get any better than meshuggah and gojira

I find it funny that Jens makes sure he doesnt say...."I like Juice...." during Rational Gaze......He really annuniciates that part since the meme.....Love these guys!

34:28 such a ridiculous solo. Close Encounters of the Third Kind vibes. The precision and musical knowledge is there, but its a baseline vocabulary establishing an alien percussive element. \m/ \m/ Another small example of the backing-riffs being more complex than the guitar solo itself (Ex. Entrapment)~

Went to the Wallingford, CT show. Truly insane. They've never disappointed

Meshuggah are to djent what Metallica were to thrash. Saw them in Wisconsin and already thinking of when I can go again. My dream concert: Metallica/Meshuggah/Gojira in a football stadium. Just imagine the light show.
The light show coupled with the music was siiiick. The difference between Metallica and Meshuggah is Metallica plays thrash where there are many comparable bands, and Djent or whatever, there is no other band like Meshuggah. At least, that's my opinion.
My dream show would be Tool, Gojira and Meshuggah. The holy trinity of insane live shows.
@@NooDLES411911 Like I said in the description, the only time I ever saw them previously was 21 years ago when they opened for Tool. It was hilarious as it was mainly a Tool crowd. By the end of their set, people were still filing in to see Tool. The ones that were there at the end (maybe 60% full) stood up and clapped, but a majority of them I could tell had no idea what they had just listened to.😂

Saw them in MI Dec 3rd. They’re so heavy live it’s unreal. Their sound is like, threatening.
My wife said it felt like her body was going to have a danger response 😂
Good footage. Saw them in Montreal, it was probably the best concert in a long time, sound was loud yet no need for ear plugs. My ears didn't even buzz the next day. They were on fire! 👌🏻
They have it all dialed in like nobody else.
Was right up front for this first time seeing them and was absolutely blown away

Saw them Bethlehem PA same tour, rode the rail the entire show.. No words. Like being sucked into a black hole and disintegrating. Really can't believe they do what they do live. It's almost impossible. Almost..
Brilliant set, great to see Bleed back in there. And no matter how many times I see live clips of Future Breed Machine, that breakdown gets even more incredible
It was a great show. The audio sounds great! I remember old concert phone audio and how bad it used to be.

It was nice to have the railing in the box seat to rest the phone on. I balanced it with a finger for the most part instead of holding it the whole time so I could really watch the show. Amazing, better IMO than when I saw them 21 years ago.
@@mmcpa yeah I bet. I just wanted to get a seat right in the middle to see it all. This was my second time seeing them, but seeing them live at all is such an experience. Must’ve been sick seeing them 21 years ago that young. ‘02 I’m assuming then?

I was at that Mullins center show in 2002. I was 12 years old and front row on the floor against the gate. My life was forever changed.
I had to have been just a few rows of seats behind you at this tremedous show of brutal vertuosity! I have a vid on my channel of bleed from the encor. Keep keeping on 👍
I attended their show on the 6.6.2023. They teamed with Behemoth. I like Meshuggah but in small doses...when they finished I was exhausted. Some people went insane. LOL
Their music is an acquired taste for the brain 😂

Saw them on Long Island, the stage wasn’t as big as this one so I think they cut back with some of the light production there. Regardless they were incredible as always. Great video!

These guys are still at the top of their game, unlike some other older bands who have toured recently where I think they should hang it up. 21 years since I saw them last, and they still kill it!!

I had never seen them live before, and I was disappointed in the length of all of the sets.
33:42 such a ridiculous riff. I'm glad for how they've used technology to their songwriting advantage, as far as imposing math on riffs in a ridiculous way.
This was THE song I wanted to see, and they f'ing killed it. The drop, out of the breakdown into the final section, hit hard!!!
@@mmcpa Hell yea~ I can honestly say every time they put out an album, I have at least 2 new favorite songs by them. They've only ever continued growing this whole time \m/ \m/ I was at this show and loved it so much I saw them a few days later in CT for my 10th time~
You killed it recording the video and keeping it continuous. Fred's solo game keeps evolving, and it's just a damn good show every time

Love Jelly roll but you fucked up on that one haha I just saw Meshuggah for the first time at their show in San Diego and I’ve been to hundreds of all kinds of incredible shows. Nothing got close to this, fucking unreal 🤯

What an "epic" show it was! All 3 bands were awesome.
Spectacular show. Meshuggah, unlike other older bands who suck and should hang it up, were as good as they were decades ago.
@@mmcpajust saw them for the first time in Toronto last night. Fucking hell they slay, maybe the best show I've ever seen along with Gojira. Just a relentless assault.
