The 10th time I've seen Opeth. This was the opening of the concert, and led into the first song which was §1 [Paragraph 1].
Most of the lighting came from the back, so never really got a clear shot of the band members during songs. Recorded on a Samsung S24 Ultra.

When I went to see Get The Led Out, as I never got to see Led Zeppelin since John Bonham passed a few weeks before I was to see them in Montreal, I only recorded the drum solo section of Moby Dick. The rest of the time I was just too into the music to pick up the phone and record anything.

we have front row center seats at Tabernacle in Atlanta/, Tues night 22nd 3 time seeing them.
Man, I really was not a fan of the lighting at this show, I saw so many fans having to avert their eyes entirely because the lights were shining right in their faces for a super long time, not coo. Opeth sounded amazing though, hearing all of the metal stuff again was super impressive.
I was not a fan of the lighting either.
The lighting didn't bother me too much. I was so happy and excited to see Opeth again, it was 19 years since I first saw them. Tribulation and Opeth nailed it.

I was set on going when they announced this year I live in NC so going to Atlanta no problem but I found out I have cancer back in April so I wasn't able to go hopefully after I'm done with chemo in October they announce a US tour for next year.

I am currently uploading the best part of this song as I was a lot closer to get an awesome version of the guitar duel. What we did have one problem one of the times they tried to switch over to Miyako unfortunately Asami was in the way
Oh my lord. They looked so tired. Must be the airplane travel. 1st time I see Asami not trying to make that classic ending sustained note for the Hammer of Wrath 😢 I can also see who's a lovebites fan and who's not just by seeing who clapped for fami's part lol
Asami either knew her voice wasn't warmed up enough to hit the sustained note or she was not able to her herself properly in her in-ears is what I'm guessing.

I completely disagree. They were high energy during the entire 90 minutes and by the end, the entire crowd was cheering for everything. Asami had the crowd in the palm of her hand. Were you even there??

These are the true hardcore Lovebites fans. Even I was pricing flights to Atlanta to be there but settled on LA. I don’t even consider myself a super fan.
If anyone hasnt gone to their concert in tokyo. You must make the trip and see them on home field. They put on a tremendous production at the tokyo garden theater. The venue is practically an arena for live music. See you at the shows !

It picked up a lot once they got going. I'd say they had more audience response then any of the other bands I saw that day.
