Laura, another GREAT review and I sure will give this car a test drive. Sure wish it has power lumbar support on the front seats and not sure why Honda left that out. The leather wrinkles on the back seats do not look good and I would expect Honda to do much better quality with this. I like the lunar silver metallic color but NOT the black interior leather but can live with that. Overall, a fine car!
Love Laura's videos....she is a Honda Hoot ! I like the styling of the latest Civic but not a fan of CVT transmissions. And the lack of a CD player is a deal breaker for me. I wish the audio companies would develop a wireless add-on cd changer that could be mounted in an out of the way place. This would be for those of us with huge cd collections.
This is really cool! My friend was finally going to upgrade from her 05 coupe and I told her to just get a good deal on a 2015 as they are clearing them out! Screw that! I'm gonna tell her to hold out on this car. Hell, I got rid of my 06 a couple of years ago for a Camry because I needed more room, but this car is tempting!

I'm trying to decide between the 2016 Accord Touring and this car. I have the 2013 Civic Touring now and I like it, especially the gas savings but when I drive my wife's 2008 Accord it does feel beefier and more solid which I like also. I know this new Civic is slightly bigger, I guess I will just have to test drive them both.
Ya I don't think it will be down to whichever one drives better as I know they will both drive great. It's gonna be down to my financial situation in the new year lol. I'm being optimistic and thinking I will get the Accord Touring in which case the next decision will be between 4 cylinder or 6. Assuming I will drive 30,000 km (19,000 miles) a year, how much more do you think I would end up spending per year if I got the 6 cylinder of city driving? If it's like around 5-$800 only then worth getting the extra horsepower.
+dieselboy808 I was thinking the same but a touring Accord is like 10k more than this. There's no amount of turbo that can make up for a 278hp V 6 though
W-_-T Ya I'm back and forth still lol. My buddy just got the Civic Touring turbo and he loves it so I'm looking at that again, especially with the 10k savings. I'm kinda in a hard place where I still got a little over a year left on my 2013 Civic Touring lease. There is no way around losing money on that. So coming from a non turbo civic which I just drop the gear and step on the gas and get decent acceleration, I think I can make the Turbo zip if you know what I mean. But ya the Accord is in another class and I would justify the extra 10k by only paying a little more per month on the lease. I had 4.4 BMW X5 before the Civic so I love that power for sure but not the trips to the gas station.
+Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk Since you love using your arms so much, you should consider the idea of marshalling aircraft at your local airport.....I think you'd be excellent at it !!
Honda and their dealers make it difficult for those who want a new Civic if you want a certain color or a Sensing model in Rallye Red. EX-T Sensing is cool, but I am open to Touring as Dealers think civic buyers don't want sensing. Though I wonder if Honda is purposely not making them to get you to buy a Touring.
@HondaLaura, Do you know if you can go on the internet or go on youtube using Android phone? I know Iphone can but was not for sure for an Android. Also, is the Accord bigger inside then civic. Someone told me that the civic is bigger inside then the Accord.
I luv my 16 Honda Civic Ex......the 2.0 is also fun to drive........Vtec!!!......and the handling in this car is super...the steering is like awesome because of their new electric steering ....I test drove an EX-T when i was at my local dealership...awesome ride...but my wallet told me go for the Ex......so i did.....Black....Honda got it right with this car....I traded in my 13 Civic Ex for my 16 Ex an its like I went from driving a Honda to driving an Acura.....lol.. i bought this car used....it only had 10k miles on it so i got a way better deal...the prior owner works at the local dealership...it has the wing spoiler on it and 19 inch Accord Sport wheels...that's probably going to affect my over all mpg but it rides very nice...he also put these blue lights inside and underneath the car..then i added my Kicker subs in the trunk and i still have plenty of room left in my trunk unlike i had in my 13 Civic...it's an awesome ride..... :-)
