+Gmoney5789 Did you know there's a stop sale recall on the 2016 civics because of a missing piston ring which can cause engine failure? And this is supposed to be car of the year? =(
i did see that and it's really to bad, just the 2.0L but makes it kinda sketchy to buy one. i'd only buy the turbo but i'll probably wait till the Si comes out and hopefully they work out all the bugs
+Battosai Jenkins it's only on the 2.0 and not all of them, it was a manufacturing process error, not the way the engine was engineered. They shoud I have it back to 100% soon. If there is any company that knows how make a na i4, its Honda.
I have to be honest. That is one good looking car. Well done Honda. You have redeemed yourself with this redesign. Now deliver on your promise of 1.5T manual versions in coupe in sedan.
+Rob D from what Honda says, the Touring trim will have standard daytime and nighttime LED headlights, backseats will have heated seats, standard Honda sensing feature (lane keeping assist, road departure warning, adaptive cruise control, forward collision system, etc.), passenger seat power settings, premium audio system and finally rain sensing windshield wipers. Honda does a good job at setting the details on all trim levels on their website.
The body and style look amazing I just don't understand how my the engines are practically lawnmower engines. why not throw in a beefy 6 cylnder turbo?
+aky19832001 The Civic is first and foremost an economy car, always has been. So scooting to 60 mph in 6.6 sec with the 1.5L turbo is pretty darn good while getting fantastic fuel economy to boot. Throw a V6 turbo in and now you have a high performance car and crappy fuel economy which most would never buy. The Si and R Type will be the performance versions and fuel economy won't matter nearly as much being high performance vehicles.
nothing to worry about, Honda makes very good CVT transmissions, we have the new Jazz RS and it feels closer to a traditional geared trans, and in terms of reliability, it's a Honda, so no worries!
I hate that they put halogen foglights on a car that has LED headlights
Just picked one up last week! Glad to hear I made the right choice.
+Gmoney5789 i test drove a touring hell of a car wish i could buy one got a 2009 civic haha
