Literally the same here. But I was not actually a fan of either but followed Eddie on Instagram and didn t think to follow Thor, so my mentality was very one sided leaning towards Eddie of course because I only saw his side of everything. But now as I ve seen how Eddie was sucking his own dick so much and this man proved him wrong and was mature about it I am also suddenly here 🤣🤣🤣✌️

@@longwinter Ya I'm more of an Eddie fan for this bout but Thor definitely tank those big shots and as the rounds went, Eddie's confidence waned. Kinda sad Eddie focused only on those hooks, but it is what it is.

I agree fully with what you are saying. Tbh I was with Eddie at the start then after seeing both them train, knew for sure Eddie was lose! Also, the way they both handled themselves made me like Thor more. He got a little bit upset at times but don't we all. Eddie just acted like a straight up arsehole the whole time!

@@MajinBuusni I couldn’t tell you how many fights I’ve watched in recent years which were far worse than Thor and Eddie’s match. Most pro heavyweight fights consist of 5-6 punches thrown per round followed by 2 minutes of hugging in the middle of the ring

And the way he adjusted after the 3rd round was just amazing. He realized his game plan wasn't going as expected so he decided to be smart and use his jab and counter Eddie's big right hook
When your opponent does the same move 50 times in a row it starts becoming pretty predictable lol

Yes, you are totally right. Eddie was juste using one tool of the box and Thor come and used multiples tools to not only counter Eddie, but keep the pace for him all along!

Eddie was a one trick pony and once you worked him out, you controlled the fight. No point in a rematch, entirely one sided. Eddie did not commit to learning the craft of boxing, because a good boxer will always beat a good slugger and that showed in the fight. I dread to think what type of trash talk Eddie would be doing right now if he would of won. Take some time out Champ with your family, you earned it.
Thor has nothing to gain/prove with a rematch.

@@snexer Even if he did, the outcome would of been the same. Eddie needs to learn how to box and punch correctly, he was still lifting heavy weights while boxing. Hathor was committed to learn boxing. Eddie was loading up using full power on all of his shots and telegraphing every one of them, which Hathor worked out after one round. Lets hope they can both move on.

For those that were paying attention I think this outcome was obvious, and points to the fact that the missing training footage from Eddie wasn't 4d chess but him not digging in to the same degree Thor did, again that should be obvious. Great job champ, hell of a journey!
To be honest, I think there was a chance that Eddie's gimmick would work, he did land some good punches in the first round and even managed a knockdown, for a moment I thought he's gonna get a knockout. If not the torn bicep I think the chance would be even higher.
@@Tork789 yeah I agree with you. Eddie isn't a good boxer but he was dangerous and had some serious power in the first 2/3 rounds. I kind of feel Eddie should have swamped Thor with more in the first round if he wanted a chance to win
@@tbrowniscool Yeah, I just don't like how everyone's acting smart now that they know the result, which very well could be different had Eddie just a bit more luck. Thor won, but not decisively, definitely not such a confident win to act all smug and say "this outcome was obvious", fact is - it wasn't, I personally was sitting on the edge the whole match.
@@Tork789 yeah I agree if that fight was repeated 100 times I bet we would have seen lots of crazy outcomes. Thor was patient but also didn't come across that aggressive
@@Tork789 but he showed all that in training. And his hook only hit Thor in the shoulder at the weakest point of the punch. Even in the one that they made THor count for you can see from a different angle he pushes with his left hand to get that to look like that. He couldn't land a head shot and he was afraid to throw a single body shot for some reason.
His hook was just as bad as in training - the one that ripped his bicep. His hands were down just like in training. He showed all his cards with the little videos he released. Tried to bullshit it away to look better .. :p
