I want Eddie to win as I'm from England, however, his behaviour is disgraceful. Eddie is full of Egotistical confidence, bitterness and delusion, whilst Thor stays fairly respectful and mindful of Eddie's son. Eddie swore every other word, asked his wife to rate his sexual stamina and targeted another man's mother. I believe Thor has moved on from the 2017 incident whilst Eddie is having a hard time getting it out of his head. I won't be disappointed if Thor wins.
Eddie hall is disgraceful, its the other way around here, His son was with him for a reason, it's his wife and he can ask her whatever he wants, and also it's a press conference you're not supposed to have a mother screaming shut and Icelandic slurs during it. thor went behind Eddie's back after he won and was being disgraceful while Eddie was being a good sport thor double dip 4 times and ref only counted 1 and eddie still had more reps in him, he beat thor fair and sqaure, if someone punches you will you forget it no you'll stay mad its the same thing thor is bitter and he is the one who has carried it on since 2017 more so then eddie
@@HoaxProd My point being Eddie has acted like a twat. He's usually more humorous in his videos. In the press conference he was sexist as he suggested Thor had finished "cleaning his vagina". He also publicly asked his wife to rate his bed performace on a scale of 1-10, like she's some sort of ego boosting talent show judge. I like Eddie's videos and generally thinks he's funny. However, he's come across the wrong way. It's worth remembering he's 34, holding on to a spat because he didn't like what somebody said is quite silly really.

I was extremely disappointed in Eddie’s behavior. Very childish and juvenile. Prior to that behavior, I wanted Eddie to win. Now I want Thor to win.

To be 100% honest before this I was an all out Eddie fan, but Thor just had more class even tho it came to blows.

The whole thing started because Thor didn't have any class and tried to claim that the Refs helped Eddie won WSM '17 even after it came out that they let Thor get away with reps that wouldn't count. Thor is trying to come across as the humble and bigger person now because he won, but both of these guys are man-babies that managed to carry a grudge for 5 years and be super petty about the whole thing.

And back to jab vs charge.
Eddie's been consistent in raising his left when throwing a right, so he may time it right and catch the jab, if not, his right will be ineffective.

I'm sad for Eddie's son. His facial expression during the whole conference screamed "I'm the school bully and if you resist I will call my dad and he will bully you instead".
It feels like he was raised to treat people with disdain and one day this is going to bite him in the ass hard.
A descent observation. One day Eddie shall fall unless he gets proper therapy. He has a serious mental health illness and untreated the prognosis is not good and rarely ends well. His son is a victim and Eddie’s illness is not helping the boy. His son’s name is “Maximus.” I wonder who gave that name! But I now know why Eddie gave him that particular name, and it’s 100% all about Eddie sadly for the kid.

Even as a fan of Thor, I always felt that he was out of line for 2017. I felt he should have respected Eddie's win and the contest in which he participated. His beef should have been with the organizers and he should have taken it up with them privately. I of course, still feel that way.
But after the recent events and Eddie's open disrespect for not only Thor and his team, but also for everyone involved in the event - I have lost all respect for Eddie as an athlete and sportsman. At this point, Eddie's appeal to sportsmanship is just comical.

Watching a lot of strongman and this build up to the fight between Eddie and Thor one of the things that stood out to me the most is Eddie's lack of manners regarding everything.
For months I’ve been wanting Eddie to win, but these past few days after watching the face to face talk and press conference, I’ve switched sides.

Some more thoughts about Eddie Halls behaviour…
As previously mentioned, I was team Eddie but his behaviour since he arrived in Dubai has caused me to rethink everything and I’m now team Thor all the way. Imagine Eddie comparing Thor’s disrespect in 2017 at WSM, and comparing that to fkn “rape” in that first press conference? Sick, and it made me see just how narcissistic and self absorbed he is. It also made me see his calling out Larry Wheels so called disrespect against him and making a creepy public UA-cam confrontation against Larry who I believe was just hyping up the drama for the Thor fight as Larry on the spot told him. Eddie’s sense of self absorption is narcissistic to the core. Putting his young boy front and centre, literally, at the press conference and acting like a dick was pathetic, AND THEN afterwards is hugging his distraught son and saying what to him? That he’s sorry his son went through that? That his own behaviour was not good? NO! He tells the boy that Thor is a very angry mean man AND THEN says, “do you ever see me, your dad, acting like that AT HOME! Amazing really. It’s all about HIM and how others perceive HIM, in this sad case how his son thinks of him! Complete narcissism 101! He then says to his son, “can you imagine what Thor is like at home?” This is not normal behaviour at all. Far from it. His narcissism will end up destroying him and driving everyone away from him, including his son and his wife sadly. Even his “sexual comment” in front of his son and the world announcing his amazing “stamina” and putting his wife on the spot for HIS AFFIRMATION to be publicly known is narcissistic behaviour!…Narcissism destroys lives and never ends well. He needs immediate help and psychological counselling. My sister-in-law is a Psychologist and gave me a quick education about narcissism and agrees that Eddie Hall is one and needs help. I sincerely hope he gets the help.

Who's to say Eddie didn't lose sponsors bc of Thor saying Eddie cheated in 2017 . Cost him and his family's millions of dollars if so.
He literally said that Eddie and the main judge, rigged the entire event. That is libel, you may not like it. But it is, and it could seriously hurt someone's reputation, as well as lose them money.
I don't get it, Hafthor has been on that podium 8 times, Eddie has been there 2 times, and the last time almost killed him. It was his peak of peaks. Hafthor even deadlifted more than him and did it with ease - regardless of how butthurt one side is. I think Eddie's in for a wake up call.

Lets just say what we are all thinking, Eddie Hall deserves the title for worlds biggest baby. This whole thing started because Thor didn’t audibly say congratulations and Eddie the baby hall got his feeling hurt about it. I didn’t see a hitch, least not a noticeable one; however I think Thor was gassed and Eddie could have done a couple more than 15 OHP’s if needed.
Its only natural at the top of a competition when you come so close to winning to suspect foul play with the judges. Just literally watch any other professional sport when the event is closely called or the decision is split. Its not unreasonable to suspect the judge having a bias or an error in judgment. What is unreasonable is expecting a human being at a low point, losing the most prestigious event in strongman yet again, to put aside his disappointment and frustration to celebrate your win, especially when he believes there was foul play. Would it have been the right thing to do? Yea. But people are people and sometimes they just don’t feel like saying congratulations. Wah. Someone needs to give Eddie a pacifier and some depends and tell him he can wear big boy clothes when he learns to act like a man.
I always enjoyed Eddie in the sport, but this whole thing had really made him start to stink in my mind.

Beforehand he was able to demonstrate his technique in front of Colin to make sure that he was following the rules and to be fully honest, Thor seemed quite content with his 14 reps on the Viking press until Eddie Hall beat him 5 minutes later. Then he started asking Colin Bryce about it and eventually said that he was robbed. It's bad enough to delegitimize Eddie's win and smother it in controversy, but to try and ruin a referee's reputation as well? That's cold. And Hafthor lost in the deadlift to Eddie too, so a victory was never a sure thing. Even Zyndrunas Savickas said that that is no way to compete, cause you realistically can't win every event. I will say that Eddie's been a bit of a dick lately but it seems like it's been pretty even-steven between them. I think Eddie excels at comebacks and talking smack though and in that sense he's been absolutely pouring it on. Thor never should've come out and said he was robbed. That really disgraced WSM and muddied it in controversy. WSM has always been well refereed and has given every competitor a shot at being a champ. If they don't have it during the competition then they don't have it. They shouldn't rain on someone else's parade.

Eddie finished third in the plane pull behind Thor (2nd) and Kieliszkowski (1st). This event was then followed by the max deadlift which Eddie won then the stones to finish.

Originally I was on Eddie's side because of how Thor behaved during the 2017 WSM. However, I feel Thor has become better since then.
Thor had a low point, which everyone has at one point or another. Since then the more I have been seeing of Eddie the more I switched to Thor's side.
