Yes he was a complete muppet, probably had a bit too much to drink. He was at it all night, fortunately most of the time it was while Steve Hackett was talking between numbers

Yes John, this guy certainly was a nuisance throughout the show (I was standing between you and that bloke) and although I recorded some 28 minutes, in all, of video clips, I decided not to publish them on UA-cam since he's significantly louder in my videos.
So sad! Steve has such fantastic solo music, yet he still feels compelled to be his own tribute band. This is just unlistenable.
Steve Hackett spent almost the whole evening playing classical music, including Debussy and Satie and select pieces from his massive back catalogue, including tracks from Voyage of the Acolyte, Defector, Guitar Noir, Under a Mediterranean Sun, Cured, The Night Siren and Bay of Kings with only a very small nod to his years with Genesis, which consisted of the three very short snippets in this video and Horizons, probably the Genesis material made up only 5% of the show. If you could be bothered to look at the other videos posted accompanying this one you will get a taste of the range of music he played. However, he has every right to play parts from his Genesis years and audiences would be very disappointed if he didn’t, but if you find it unlistenable nobody is making you listen.
