What I like the most is the fact that Steve loves doing this for his fans, he obviously gets a huge amount of satisfaction from playing live, and im so glad he is continuing to do so. What a gent. Many thanks.
The great Steve plays here his brother John Hackett (flute), Roger King (keyboards) and Rob Townsend (sax and flute). Many thanks for posting this wonderful video, I didn't know of this performance, relatively recent.
Mucha suerte y larga y buena vida mereces, maestro.
Never will forget your acoustic show at the Swedish American Hall in San Francisco in 2005. First time I'd ever heard "After the Ordeal" performed Live. Lovely experience, that show.
Merci STEVE de maintenir oh combien vivante cette musique incroyablement belle & indémodable . Cela dépasse les époques et émeut toujours autant . Poésie, grandeur & authenticité
Steve was touring this lineup in about 2005, first half of show was just John, Steve and Roger doing stuff like this. Saw them in Somerville, MA. It was amazing.
Écoute sa guitare Classique , demandes ca a n importe autres , bonnne chance et surtout demande-leur en passsant d interpréter The Chaconne of J-S Bach comme Steve , son album Tribute , merci au Maitre Hackett
Wish he’d do a tour like this again with his brother, John. His woodwind playing is tasteful and not distracting. I can say the same about Rob Townsend in his touring band.
Unfortunately only in Europe it seems. He no doubt makes more money off the Genesis revisited shows than the potential revenue stream off intimate shows such as this.
hello... i just wanted to say your steady camera saved my life. i was borderline bulimic, but this beautiful camera work has done me wonders. thank you!
One of the biggest disappointments in my life is that Steve H and Peter Gabriel never worked together on new material after Genesis. Such an opportunity missed.
Yeah, could have been great. PG and SH can both write and perform. Same with PC. Understatement of course. They are all exceptional writers/performers and I’ve enjoyed seeing them play live many times over the years. PG and SH together would have undoubtedly been more than the sum of their formidable individual parts. But best Genesis-early Genesis-doesn’t exist without TB’s compositions/arrangements. Brilliant albums start with Nursery Cryme IMHO and continue thereafter up to and including Lamb (PG’s baby) and maybe Trick too (though Trick of the Tail is a bit lesser to my ears; PG’s absence is manifest). Common denominator though for much of the great early Genesis music is clearly TB. Musical Box and Fountain of Salmacis, Cinema Show and intro to Firth of Fifth, Watcher of the Skies and Supper’s Ready Apocalypse in 9/8. Etc., etc. There’s little out there that’s arguably better 50 years on …

He has to play that curved flute because of an injury.
Suppers Ready, after the ordeal, hairless heart,
Thanks for précisions
Love this song...!
Lovely, really fantastics variations
Wow this is so good!
Beautiful John
For absent friends...a poem !
Wish he’d do a tour like this again with his brother, John. His woodwind playing is tasteful and not distracting. I can say the same about Rob Townsend in his touring band.
He’s still doing it - it’s amazing!
Unfortunately only in Europe it seems. He no doubt makes more money off the Genesis revisited shows than the potential revenue stream off intimate shows such as this.
I don't think he much cares about the money when they do the acoustic shows. Trading Boundaries is tiny.
sublime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
❤mamma mia!🙏
Simply heaven.
Semplicemente grandiosi ❤
¡Fantástico!
Unique, one off genius guitar virtuoso, understanding now why had to leave , hairless heart is beautiful still .
Missed “ he “ out !

JE TAIME
Good music but what is that green spotty thing all over parts of the video?
John Hackett!
SILVIA beautiful choice
c est Dieu sur sa guitare
His brother is awesome along with Rob Townsend and Roger King is no slouch on the keyboards!
King plays Genesis. Banks plays Abacab.
To other places and other times.
Whats the sporting metaphor,'Form is temporary, class is permanent'?!
Does anyone know the name of the piece that goes in the middle of Hairless Heart? 6:03 to 8:13
Black Light
@@gerardodeleon6795 i checked it out; i don't think they are the same.

Die beiden haben sich in unterschiedliche Richtungen entwickelt 😏 Peter in Richtung Pop, Steve traditionell
Where's "Trading Boundaries" at? In UK or USA?
It's in Sussex in the UK.
When and where was this?
3rd Dec this year at a small venue in East Sussex, England called "Trading Boundaries"
My brother was lucky to see this this year too at Trading Places
CAPOLAVORO DI MUSICA
IS STEVES KID ON FLUTE?
I think it's his brother, yes.
Does Roger have a little stuffed animal?
I love the hidden pooh on the keyboard station
CHINA CANT MAKE THIS..

Hairless Heart from Genesis' Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

Also, sounds like Israel's anthem. Beautiful.
I hope he never stps
This was Genesis music!!!...not Abacab itmr Invisible Touch !!! The departure of Steve Hackett was terrible for Genesis music!!!
