I been said this abt the suns. No lead guard or anyone to make the offense make sense. They’re too redundant w the scorers they have. They’re always gonna try to get their shot off but aren’t the best at leveraging that gravity to find shots elsewhere and there’s no gel to make it make sense. As a Nets fan I’m praying on my former “Big 3” downfall but I like Kawhi, Russ and PG13. Harden makes that team special but I can’t root for them after he help destroy the future of my franchise.

i really dont understand the mindset of GMs over NBA history of "throw 2 or 3 stars onto a team, we'll be fine with 0 bench depth" like it literally hasn't worked once in the probably 8 to 10 attempts from different teams... everyone saw the dominance of the warriors and thought they could do something similar to no avail. a team like those warriors is a diamond dozen,

These are literally the only examples i can think of when it comes to teams since the 80s in which there were more than 2 "star" players (this can be debated) and it actually led to a ring... and only 4 of these 6 teams were true dynasties resulting in more than 2 rings.
I miss when Teams that won were well rounded and had one or maybe 2 real weapons (Think Kobe & Shaq, good rounded teams with a few great weapons, crafted carefully for over a decade)
it just resulted in more authentic great performances and duels between stars, not the awkwardness we see today of 3 or sometimes even 4 star players on the court playing hot potato and deferring to each other because they each want to get a certain amount of shots up so their averages arent hurt too much.
when Kyrie and Lebron combined for 80 in 2016 it meant something, when Kobe and shaq average 63 combined points in the 2002 finals it means something, i just feel like in today's league we go all through the regular season making sure everyone gets their stats then end up going into the playoffs and star filled teams either crash and burn because of no depth and uncertainty over who takes the last shot or never get off the ground because someone's hurt.

I been said this abt the suns. No lead guard or anyone to make the offense make sense. They’re too redundant w the scorers they have. They’re always gonna try to get their shot off but aren’t the best at leveraging that gravity to find shots elsewhere and there’s no gel to make it make sense. You can’t just throw talent together and expect it to work.
