The most comic-accurate version of the turtles. But seasons 6 & 7 were total garbage because they gave into the fans of the '87 series and put more humor in it.
Alan Ritchson who played Raphael (and now plays Jack Reacher) told an amazing story on Collider’s UA-cam channel about how horribly mistreated he and the other actors who played the Turtles were. Seriously watch it, you will be surprised that they didn’t quit acting for life after that shit!
Honestly I never got the hype with Michael Bay cause his directing never evolved, his characters are always unlikeable and shallow and he over sexualizes women especially Megan. He’s pretty horrible in general and plenty of actors said that
SO happy that in the end, yall were able to let the fun overcome! Cause this movie was full of fun and the voice actors really captured the spirit of the turtles... even the mo cap was great.
I actually love these 2 movies with these Turtles. I was like you to, i didn't know if i would like these Turtles, but after finishing the first movie, i fell in love with them.
I don’t see how it’s fair to dislike and hate on a character all the way through a movie just because they’re better looking. Megan Fox is perfect for April O’Neil. This movie is amazing
It's possible that Master Splinter could teach himself martial arts through manuals. I mean in the original movie he learned by watching and mimicking the movements of his owner. It's basically the same thing.
I always find it weird how a lot of people give Bay so much blame for this film and mainly cause his name is notable. However, you’re not going to find too many who give him credit for Bumblebee which was much more well received, roughly the same box office, & like TMNT he was one of a few who had a role in producing the film.

No, I blame him for doing what he does, and a lot (but not all) of his movies which is spend way too much time trying to create bombastic action scenes and very little time spending quiet moments with characters, getting to know them. The turtles personalities in this movie are fun, but I like the mix of fun moments and slower, quieter moments that the original 90s movie had where you got to see their individual characters fleshed out a bit more. I HAVE watched and enjoyed these new versions of a classic that can NEVER be touched. Although I appreciate Bay's ability to action pack a cinematic experience, I don't like how he changed the origin of the turtles and Splinter. If they were pets in America, why would they be trained in martial arts to ultimately become ninjas? This is one question I find myself asking NOW that I have watched it again with you. I would enjoy your feedback on this if possible. 🤔
If you liked this one you'll probably like the sequel Out of the Shadows more since they just go all out with the cartoon fun because this is more of April's movie which was a mistake to have focused so much on her for the first half but since they integrated her directly tying into their origin I guess they had to give her a lot of attention. Nonetheless this is nobody's favorite version of their origin story most fans prefer Splinter being Hamato Yoshi's pet rat who gets murdered by Shredder then mutates into the giant Rat Master who'll mentor the turtles from his master's past teachings or the one I personally prefer is that Splinter was Hamato Yoshi himself who mutates into a humanoid rat and since he was human before he knows exactly how to act like a good father and relate to the turtles what the world is like both good and bad.
Well since it’s Michael Bay it’s the same formula they did with Transformers (focus on the humans more than the main characters) don’t get me wrong I love those movies but yeah wish they would switch the focus

So by dialing turtles to 11 , Bay also had to dial Shredder to 11)) ANd while whole storyline of 2014 was a completely non-lore non cannonical one, but as a blockbuster live action iteration imho it works, and actually it is pity that there werent made move movies with these universes versions turtles and etc. Regarding Keisi Jones, I see why he wasn't in the movie, because what could he have done by being regular human? Not much really so I get why they cut him out. Regarding Vernon I actually liked 2014 version of him, because OG cartoon Vernon was a cowardly, lying, double-crossing, sexist , arrogant traitorous full of a sh... slimeball, while here he was more than likeable and believable/relatable.. Soo I personally love 2014 version of turtles Also that truck at the end is a not towards turtle mobile they had in cartoon. In regards to April honestly the ONLY 2 things she was missing is not being ginger with a haircut like in cartoons, and not wearing that yellow jumpsuit , just having yellow jacket which she doesn't even wear ALL the time, I think . But besides that , personality wise she was pretty close to source. 36:05. Yup, exactly. Plus they are mutants))) Like if Hulk, Cap, Blonsky/abomination can get roided on a a serum, clean and safe , why not let turtles get off the charts roided from radioactive mutagen?)) That was honestly part which kind of bothered me in cartoon as much as I loved those series)), They werent as mutated as I had imagined from the premise i read before starting to watch those cartoons

I am not a big Michael Bay fan, but personally, I think he did a better job with the Turtles than he did with the Transformers.
If u liked the 1st TMNT movie then definitely watch the 2nd TMMT secret of the ooze 😂😅
You two should definitely watch all of the Turtles movies, the best ones and favorites for me personally, is the old ones, but I do enjoy Michael Bay ones too😊
He didn't direct the movies
@@Mrsplifferdoodle Sorry, late reply... Yeah, true, I know he didn't. That's why they are better😂 No CGI, funnier, better characters and not so exaggerated action😎👍 Don't misunderstand me, MB's movies are good too
They were in mo cap suits when they played the turtles
The original was the best and loved your vid on that one
The actors who played the turtles in this movie were severly mistreated!
So, if the other IP is referred to as “Bayformers”, what’s this? Baytles?
No because he was only the producer. It's really dumb that people don't understand that.
19:31 That is where RaPH
Had EnouGH XDDD Unintentional pun
23:01 Nah, he is peachy, that is why they even tried that stunt, because they realised their potential)) Plus Donnie is a scientist/smart guy, and Raph is heaviest one, so a precise launch of a canon...sorry turtleball came right up on schedule xdd
33:07 Well if they wouldn't have then he would have got squashed , Literally by a shell-shock move from 2014 Turtles.
Soo I personally love 2014 version of turtles
Also that truck at the end is a not towards turtle mobile they had in cartoon.
Fun fact Alan ritchson plays Raphael
You should definitely watch parts 2 & 3 of the original.
Finally its here.... Waiting for this only🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤗
