1. Self defence (know how and when to defend yourself) 2. Staying quiet (learn when amd where to stay quiet) 3. Going in different direction (taking bold decision for yourself) 4. Goals management (breaking down major goal into small and achievable targets) 5. Self discipline (cut out distraction) 6. Boundaries (learn to say no to protect your time and peace) 7. Independent (doing stuff on your own) 8. Correcting your path (it's not late to start now, take firm decision for you life) 9. Categorizing your friends (certain friends are for certain things ,based on similarities)
Categorizing friends is VERY useful. Don't bring your lazy boring nerd friend on a 3 hour hike, or to the gym. Don't bring your vegan friend to a bbq. Don't bring your athletic, hyper, active friend to the movies. Don't study with your friend that hates studying and would rather be watching tv. I have a list of all of my friends, their traits, strengths, weaknesses, and some other things. When you categorize your friends and do stuff you both like to do, it improves your bond and you have a better time with them. Think about this, you're a really active healthy person and you love hiking, exercising, walking through parks, going to the zoo, and visiting animal shelters. BUT one of your friends ALWAYS wants to eat in a restaurant and do nothing else. Isn't that boring? I'd rather spend the day at the zoo or hiking, then eat a healthy meal after. I don't want to go out to eat them go back home every single time. I have a few friends that are like that sadly, it is VERY boring. I like spending time with them, but when you are eating in a restaurant you don't really get to connect or bond, you just spend 10 minutes talking, then your food arrives and you go silent, then it's over. It would be a lot nicer if we could at least walk around a few stores before or after we eat so we can find out what each other likes, that would make birthday and holiday shopping a lot easier.
Also! 2 thing i just learned as someone with adhd! - learn to not over explain why we do/say things (sometimes it ends up with us yapping a bunch abt ourselves. 😢) - dont put ourselves into other people’s shoes to relate to them or to find ways to talk to someone. Sometimes people just want to be listened to.
as a girl just entering her 20s, i needed to hear this. Ive been procrastinating doing so many things since highschool. Im so ready to mature and make better choices for myself starting now, thank you. 🙏
I feel like a lot of content in the self-improvement category (like this!) instill a sort of urgency to make these huge changes in our personalities and lives. I'm not saying that we shouldn't all want to be our best selves as soon as possible, but be able to distinguish if this sudden want for change is because the video/post/book is creating a sense of urgency, or because you have a deep yearning to change that comes from within. But props to this creator! Awareness is the first step to change.
Another one I'd add is spreading your knowledge, learning new things, becoming smarter, I started off with a book about feminine power on synfla and I never looked back since.
I was watching this thinking how spot on you are and was waiting to read the comments to find out you only have 40k subscribers. It's still a lot don't get me wrong but I was expecting you to have a million plus. Thank you for your advice, you deserve more love!
Thank youu and yes i have faith i will definitely be hitting that million plus one day but for right now i’ll just keep showing the people why i deserve it lol🫶🏾
It's funny because I'm watching at 27 and these are lessons I've learned in the past few years. I've recently put them into action, and planning to actively, fully step into it in 2025. I think this is a fated message, showing me that I'm on the right track and putting words to things I've been contemplating for the past few years Mind you, I don't really watch this kind of stuff on UA-cam.
You changed my life. You read me like a book. At 32 years old you shifted my mindset & made me realize that it’s not too late You’re the guidance I needed all along 🥹🥹thank you for this😭 I wish I could hug. I’m super grateful
I’m 42 and I can honestly say that you are wise beyond your years, hun! Your mindset will set you apart…with good reason 😊You are sure to reap the benefits. ❤
This video came to me at the right time. It’s been a month since I’ve made 22 and Im really struggling with self-discipline. I would claim that I would get all of these activities done and not actually putting the work into it which leads to procrastination and I find myself always being late. Watching this video made me realize that if you want something, you literally have to go after it which means literally putting in the blood, sweat, and tears if you really want to achieve your goals. Thank you for this video, it woke me up real quick.
1:07 yesss cause speak up with my current bf and he tell me im a crash out which is insane cause i never spoken up for myself. I tend to hide how i feel cause i don’t want to be labeled as a crash out but then I know I deserve to speak up for myself
Exactly people love to keep you small‼️ they hate to see you stand up for yourself because they know that means they can’t treat you how they truly want to
@ sometimes we have to know when to separate ourselves from situations, it will hurt at first but you can’t heal a wound if you keep letting someone open it🫶🏾
i struggle with feeling a lot of overwhelming regret but your advice has helped lots with helping me shift my mindset. thank you girl doing gods work fr ❤
Wow, I love how this video goes straight to the point, not losing time, everything is clear and, essentially, a hard fact. I'm young, but I recognize I've been doing these things for a long time, of course there's still work in some points you make, and for that I'm grateful, this video reminds me of keeping the hard work going for my life to grow in the way I want.
The beginning part got me..I feel so small. I am very short and even preteens are taller than I am and it makes me feel like them. I'm 5'2 and I have youthful face. (I'm 20.)
the intro definitely called me out. this video is so helpful considering that i am soon becoming a grown woman. thank you posting this video, this will help and inspire many older and younger women.
I felt like this when I was 19. Then I learned you can't always start all over again sadly. Sometimes money, health or loved ones never come back again. It's important to make wise choices and think about it before taking big risks
i hear you! i thought about the same thing when she mentioned that, but i think it means YOU start again. how will you make sure you won’t repeat your own history again? how will you make sure you don’t lose like that again?
As an 17 year old girl struggling and feeling behind at everything, although I recognize I’m still in time to achieve goals step by step, this video is such an motivation with a big reality check at the same time. Thank you for making this video and help other women to achieve their goals.❤
these are good tips but you are young. now is the time you should be learning these things yourself. you should be able to freely explore every path and fuck it up, without the voice of someone pushing 30 in the back of your head. you have a few years to be reprimanded of your behavior, let that happen. these are only things women “learn late” because they never learned about themselves in the first place. if you’re here, i can assume you have at least a bit of self awareness. that will take you far on its own, you don’t need this (easily searchable) advice. on that same note, save this video for when you’re 18, it’d serve a better purpose then 😊
@ … first off I’m only 24 not pushing 30😂 and second the whole point of the video and my entire account is to break down self growth and make it understandable. With that being said I do understand experiencing things for yourself but I also understand how dumb it is to make a mistake that could have been easily avoided if you just had good advice. These are things that some people don’t learn from older siblings or even their parents so to you it may seem like easily “search able” advice but for some others it can be just what they needed to hear! And trust me you have your ENTIRE life for making mistakes and I’m sure you’ll be fine if you learn how to avoid just 8 of them😂
The other day I was speaking to this guy and just saying what’s on my mind. How I quit one of my jobs because I felt I wasn’t getting respected and don’t personally believe in “earning respect”, how I felt I could have something better etc. And he said “are you ever happy with anything?” .. if he doesn’t shut his dumb ass up tryna sound deep and make me question myself. He goes on to say how sometimes you need to earn respect at work. I said that him asking me if I’m ever happy or satisfied with anything made him sound like my parents ….. I just believe that if something is not up to my standards, if it feels like I’m sacrificing my mind, peace, body and not even being compensated decently for it then no I don’t need to put up with it. All my life it’s been a constant of family, men or others trying to make me feel like I’m wrong for knowing I deserve best and not wanting to settle for anything but! Honestly I have slipped a few times I’m human but I’m really trying to uphold it as much as possible especially now that I am a grown woman and need to embody that .
Hey this is a great video, i recently turned 18 so i have the feeling i need to become more mature. And this video surely is a great stepping stone to that!
I love your videos so much. Thank you i really loved this one, especially the part of categorizing friendships. This is something I as an individual know i need to learn well, I've been hurt so much by sharing too much with everybody and anyone and it's a change I pray to make next year 🙏🏾
I'm 17 years old and so far I have been brought down by my age mates and felt so so low.To be sincere, thank you for making this video and I have learned a lot from this.Kindly spread that same spirit to inspire other girls 😊❤❤❤
I appreciate how you talk your ish, its tough love thats needed and clear crisp. Definitely proud of you and your success, I'm excited to hear more on the podcast.
Same when i talk back to her she gets very mad which i respect with empathy. But when it comes to publicly defending my self or in social areas like school for example she had taught me to stand up for my self. But i still love my mother infinitely no matter what she does.
Many parents think "respect" is the unquestionable obedience from their kids. They have absolutely no leadership skills. My parents included. I WON'T be taking care of them as old people
I’m 18 and learning all of this the hard way. It’s working for sure and it will continue to improve!❤❤ Btw, I’m making a big change. I’m changing my major from music education to nursing. Pray for me y’all!😩
