- Full onboard POV race in Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux Race 1 during the DTM at Zandvoort. Drivers eye footage in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup(992). I hope you enjoyed the Cambox footage with the live TV🫶.

Hey LEGENDS! So I used a Cambox in this race, because the GoPro isn't allowed anymore. If I use a GoPro I will be disqualified... So sorry about this, as you all deserve the best possible view. I added a pedal trace and the position in the race. Hope you still enjoy it❤.
If the rules specifically say 'GoPro' you should be fine :-) 'Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the instruction of idiots' as we say on the UK 😊
@@combatwombat71 It's in the rulebook of the FIA, saying no modifications to helmets can be made.
Love seeing the pedal trace, definitely keep these in the videos if you're able to! :)
Also noticed the throttle trace never seems to go below 10-20%, is this a technique to help with rotation or balance of the car or is this a sensor issue?

Can't get enough of these videos, absolutely awesome footage!! From a drivers perspective, do you enjoy the banked curves around Zandvoort? I've heard that some drivers in other GT series prefer the older flat layout rather than the modern one with the banked corners. Love your racing Dirk, Smashing it!

I enjoy these videos so much because with hundreds of hours e-racing on ACC it blows me away how on point these racing sims are compared to videos such as this - the braking points, the gear changes, the lines are all spot on compared to these real life videos. Love it. Congrats on your finish and loved that battle which started on the home straight around the 10 minute mark, awesome.

Skill to keep pace, patience by not making bad decisions(staying flat out), and a little luck that you weren’t caught up in the two drivers ahead of you. Absolutely crazy race! This track is hard to overtake, you can upset your position only by stability and safe driving with good trajectory. And you completely did all of those! Great result and nice driving as always 👍 Congrats man 👌 And waiting for the second race!

Zandvoort looks like an exceptionally tricky track from the outside!
Loving the telemetry! It's surprising how little the brake is used. ACC would have you think people are mashing the brake at 100% in races

GoPro has several modes. I reckon the mode used here is narrow angle, maintaining focus on the outside. Other wider angle modes show more interior. Mode stearing wheel, drivers legs and so on. This narrow is perfect. We can see so dash info and the windshield. The angle used in restart race video in Hochenheim would be the best too all! Not too narrow not too wide!
I loved the brake and throttle!! Hey, is there a way to monitor your heart beat in the race? I supposed that the variation are huge in moments like those two crashes!

I think lifting there in last turn if the guy came down was a very wise decision so no need to worry about that at all, plenty of crashes happened so yeah, you definitely did the right thing.
