Letting that city be a part of that song is so raw it takes you away. The air brakes, the baby crying, the children, the horse hooves, the silence. This is a musical experience
If we were blind and lived in darkness- the only thing that would matter is the kindness of words and warmth of hands willing to help you..instead we really do seem to live in another kind of darkness-
I know! What if the carriage had to brake suddenly, causing brother Jeb Wood to somersault off the back, the force of which sends his hillbilly bass slamming into the skull of the 3 string guitar plucking brother Billy Bob Wood. That, in turn, would propel B.B.'s other instrument, the flute piano, soaring over the alcoholic head of his his hair farming sibling, brother Buford Wood. The airborne elementary teachers instrument, arcing with a wheeze and finally landing curbside only to get crushed by a Ford Mustang, Ensuingly, the unforeseen tragedy causes brother Buford Wood to serenade no longer ?? That's a better world.
You guys are awesome. I wish you all the success in the world and the platform you chose to play and be free is a testament to musicians around the world. keep at it.
I'm singing to my mother the hospice nurses are singing too.The oxygen sounds almost sound like it belongs there. My momma isn't long for this world and my heart is broken.
I'm missing my friend Eileen and she sent me this song in 2020 and I listen to it often. Her presence will be really missed tonight! I will play this song to celebrate you with the girls.. Can't wait to reconnect very soon with you and yours! 😘
End of 2021. So basically still jamming in 2022. Future thumbs up. Peace, love and acceptance for one another. World needs more acceptance regardless of opinions.
U know when u hear a band while drunk- and you start carrying on about how much you love the song...and ask who's playing...then completely forget the new treasure the next day??? This is the band that I did not forget by morning - because they're that good ;-)
I was on tour with my band in Italy, and we got *loaded* at the venue after we played. In the morning I woke up and started singing this, thinking I was being funny. My drummer started laughing, cause apparently I was singing it over and over the night before 😂
This is just so wonderful, we are going to miss this feeling in the “new normal” and I can’t imagine how that is alright ... or how anyone is ok with that.
The new normal is anything but normal. It's not healthy to isolate ourselves socially nor is it going to be good in the long run for the human race to isolate from germs and bacteria. The new normal is a huge nail in our socially distanced coffins.
Was just reminiscing yesterday that I really miss going to concerts, and in fact the LAST concert we went to, in late February, was the Wood Brothers at the Fox. in Oakland 2nd row dead center balcony seats. freekin' awesome show. then Covid hit, and our whole calendar of events for the rest of the year got erased.

I think it might have been more along the lines of "Deep" to them. Not "Cool". I've seen them in concert in Amsterdam. If you enjoy them online. In concert they're frickin' amazing! We got several encores and they even sang a song they heard from me. One of the best times I've ever had.
@@bbnnbb789 I just like Panda's, and I was sad when I made this lol. They where great live. One of the best musicians I've seen live. Usually I find they're worse live. Its the opposite with these guys.
Lets be honest you only comment ona song when its the first time you hear it Here. Not litteraly Buy here. Yeah maybe you herd it or someone showed u it but first time here urself This song is so simple so good and so honest lol hes not lying about drinking thats cool :]
@@matthewburris769 LOL, it's kind of like your comment THREE YEARS LATER. My comment was new to you, but it''s an OLD comment. This song was exactly that for me. Is that hard to understand? SMH
I love at 1:40 when the horse neighs when they sing "I feel alright". Id feel alright if i was the horse pulling the wood brothers down bourbon street.
DAMMMMN I've found myself in the obscure folk corner of UA-cam and I have no desire to escape it.
David Sanderson Follow bloody sunday sessions and wood bros. both good choices.

Haven't heard this one in a few years, always brought me peace. I'm not sure why.
Yeah I know what you mean, I feel alright
Not ashamed to admit I’ve watched this over 10 times in the past 24 hours
The sound mixing on this is unbelievable
This is also what I noticed. The mix is incredible
I concur.
I also agree, a bottle of wine down, so my opinion may be biased 😂
It really is
Unbelievable bad?
The quarter is the perfect background for this. Hand drums. Raw vocals. Chef’s kiss
How outstanding! Just the world I want to live in. Guys serenading the world rolling down the road in a horse carriage! What could be better?

Imagine watching this roll by. My whole day is shot and I’m following with a bottle of whiskey.
just like a regular day in New Orleans
I actually cannot stop listening. I don't know why. I'm not questioning it. Just gonna keep listening

Brings new meaning to the music video. Love this band so much!
Idk why, but this song hits me right in the feels 😢 cant even sing along.
Maybe because we know what sorrow is. Sorrow = bottle for many

Other wise this song was great
For some reason this video is super inspiring as a musician even though the lyrics are sad af.
I'd say drunk as f 🤣
Why do you think they’re sad
Sounds like you're the sad one friend, the lyrics talk of drinking and feeling alright. Quite literally nothing else :)
Great song and the kbest part is the horse is moving and swaying to the beat o the song!
Oh My Gosh...I love this music so much!!!!!!!!!!!
The horse whiney at 1:41 priceless!! Lol....and in the same key!!!
Slightly off horse whinney.... I think neigh flat minor or mule bray.

I'm curious how they cut out the clanking of the horse shoes because of the same point I think it would fit so perfect
