The N@zis created a false church with their own Bible because they thought the New Testament made Jesus too Jewish. Sad but true.
It is only going to get worse. I have to figure out how to say "Goodbye " to my precious friends in my Sunday School class. But struggle with the proper way to do it without hurting their feelings or offend them .
The only person they kicked out is Jesus Christ Himself!

I'm Episcopal. Thinking I might need to leave the denomination. It is infected with the same issues. Nothing is a sin. No need to change behavior after coming to Christ or take accountability for one's actions. I was taken to task at a discussion one evening because of the view that we are all sinners in need of Christ. (Which I thought was a basic tenant of Christianity) My fellow congregants accused me of being "too Catholic" and told me to focus on the love of Jesus. Meanwhile, I have come to terms with things in my life that do not serve God and am working with God to change.
Amen, the Holy Spirit is revealing to you the false gospel of your Church.... you are correct we are all sinners and need Christ!

I learned as Christian, that God defines, who I am, not the enemy.
That's also valid for the people who thinks, homosexuality and Christianity could go together.
The first thing is, that God says his opinion over you and breaks all lies about your life and that makes it easier, than to keep one of the enemy's labels and to try to act according to God's standards.
Don't any of these folks fear Hell??
They think they’re good.
They are all mostly universalists. They don't believe the Scriptures, unless it aids in their sermon. To them, hell doesn't exist.
They don’t believe the Bible so they probably don’t believe in hell.
So the UMC is doing like Israel in the books or Joshua and Judges: Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes

That so called preacher acts like this is a lions club…”it’s ok”. Liar…calling evil good and good evil. Their church is not honoring or glorifying Jesus. Go and sin no more is not in their book and they have deleted so much out of the Bible. This is heresy and an abomination.

That's the message the UMC conveys.. make up your own morality and God...
Luke 13:3&5- Christ speaking : " I tell you no, unless ye repent you will all likewise perish. " Christ then repeats Himself exactly and immediately as before in verse 5. This is the only occasion in scripture truth where this occurs! Christ is driving home His point! Repentence...... turning 180° from worldliness and Sin unto Christ alone for Salvation and daily living! This is the faith provided by God to accept His gifts of His grace and faith to receive salvation to begin the relationship that marks all true children of God! Ephesians 2:8-9, John 17:3, John 15:1-8.
"...let them alone; because if this plan or this undertaking is of human origin, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them - in that case you may even be found fighting against God!" Acts 5:38 - 39
Part of the problem is the orientation that focuses on the church. The Christian faith should focus on Christ. It is easy to become entangled in a world of fleshly desires and sins, including power and self assertion. This world is not our home, we are just passing through a broken and messed up place. Churches and pastoral staffs are part of a fallen world, as we all are. When humans set up books and rules it is unavoidable that they are flawed and it creates an opening for friction and argumentation. God saves, 16:12 and regardless of churches or humans, He is sovereign. In most of this debate, there is little assumed power of God. Only the power of humans is mentioned. We are warned in 2timothy about religion that doesn’t recognize the power of God.

When this guy says. "grace" what is he talking about?
This man is preaching pure evil on so many levels. This is not representation of the Christian Church. Our Lord Jesus Christ is weeping. Pray for the Methodist Church that it return to biblical truth and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Theoretically, one could become a card-carrying member of any denomination or organization without actually believing in what the group says or does. But _why would you?_ The UMC has lost its way... or more accurately, the UMC as an organization has lost The Way. They are following the world, not the Way the Truth and the Life.

People who are gay, have the ability to be convicted of their transgressions and gain victory over them through the power of the Holy Spirit once they have been born again of the Spirit of truth.

What part of the Bible that reads, "Judgment is mine," saith the Lord , does this person not understand. I would be worried making God like judgments on the United Methodist is a sin in God's eyes.

Christ’s Table is not open to any and all. A person who partakes of the Lord’s Supper unworthily is heaping up judgement upon themselves. To partake in an unworthy fashion refers to a number of things not least of which is coming to the table in an unrepentant state which is the default condition of all unbelievers. If the UMC believes the Lord’s Supper is open to all including unrepentant unbelievers then they are more apostate than I believed, and I believed they were pretty much completely apostate.

Taking the Lord's supper unworthily is not remembering His sacrifice as your only hope of getting to Heaven.

They also removed language that requires celibacy in singleness and faithfulness in marriage for clergy. They also affirmed that abortion is a “reproductive right “.

Well the good news is that Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of *eternal life* to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
He paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
*This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*
How you live has absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.
That's a service issue.
Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service to God.

Furthermore, sin is transgression of the law, therefore, repentance of sins is *law keeping* and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation.
You don't understand born again!
Your new birth absolutely cannot sin.
Your flesh certainly can still sin hence why we are encouraged to walk according to the Spirit and renew our minds daily all throughout the New Testament.
You are just backloading works into the gospel and attributing them to God.
A changed life is not automatic, that takes complete cooperation with the Holy Spirit.
All works can prove in *an already saved person* is their level of Christian maturity, nothing else!

Men can't see our faith but they certainly can see our works.
Simple enough, I can choose to have an alive faith or a dead faith, nothing to do with salvation at all.

James is really about having a practical faith that helps others and cannot contradict Galatians 2: 16, 2: 21, Ephesians 2: 8, 9, 10, Romans 3: 28, Romans 4: 5, 6, and Romans 11: 6, which clearly seperate faith from works of any kind (Mosaic Law or the laws written on our hearts).
You've got another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense here and you are going to split Hell wide open someday.
