Battered
Black and Battered!! And the intro is dope AF!! Salute
Battened?
An amazing song by Annihilator!
Haha battered knee! Fucking battered knees, go
Blackery
DO I HEAR B A S S IN MY PRECIOUS ...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL??
Yes
Yes. Don't tell Lars.
~Lars Ulrich
Lars; "Turn the volume up on my snare."
mmm b ass
I think we all can agree that there’s a special euphoria that we get when we hear a new Metallica track for the first time, and thanks to Bryce, we get to feel that again, every time he uploads. Thank you Bryce!
Well said. On point.
don't forget about State of Mercury!
@@killswitch2408 of course!!!
and Denis Pauna!
and the OG GuitarRazze
@@8tonystark8 haha I know Denis personally
Just do the entire Metallica discography with the AJFA tone pls
LOL yes
It’s my favorite.
But with audible bass.
@@hectorbatera1994 NO because it won't sound like ajfa then
PLEASE?
Damn. That reversed Battery intro (as a reference to Blackened) take me on :D
Amazing job!
Yeah dude that kicked ass
If Creeping Death was on black album
imagine how heavy the die part would be
And yes ik theres a version of CD on Black Album, I just wanna hear Bryce's take on it
Ride The Black
wait...
@@nikolai522 well he could just use the art for Creeping Death and call it The Black Death...
ok maybe i never thought this one through
Lucky2Unlucky13 that’s genius.
@@nikolai522 The Black Lightning ⚡
Spit Out the Bone on Master of Puppets??
Fuck yeah
MAKE IT SO
PogChamp
Oh yeah, that would be totally overkill, please do it..
It’s been done and it’s not that great, but sounds incredibly redone as a ride the lightning song.
Dude we need "My friend of Misery" or "Wherever I May Roam" in Ride the Lighting
Absolutely!!
Sad but true em ride the lightning ia ficar bom tbm
My friend of misery!
Yeah
Wherever I May Roam is godly. But it is overshadowed in my opinion by all of the other great song on that album.
If Sad but true was on Master of Puppets
Lieutenant Nomad it actually was supposed to be lol
@@rickysobel792 Same with Death Magnetic originally going to the released after AJFA
If Fuel was on RTL!!!
Fuel's main riff would be sound similar to Creeping Death in RTL tone
OK!!!
Hmmm
Either Batteried or Batteries Eve. Love it
2:34 sounds like a mix of blackened and the thing that should not be, fucking awesome dude! the whole thing is a masterpiece
Masterful mixing (no pun intended) vocals are as close to Justice I could imagine them getting, there is, in fact - bass unlike most of the AJFA covers which leave it out for the reason of "ajfa super quiet bass = no bass at all" it's a great touch, especially after listening to the album so many times you can catch the bass lines in some parts of the tracks from that album. Not to mention - godlike guitar playing, that solo is SO from AJFA and not to mention - this FEELS like Metallica and it feels like you're listening to that classic Tallica track you've listened to a thousand times for the first time again, you've earned my like. Keep up the great work
*EDIT:* I noticed you included the live ending to the song once Metallica finished this absolute bone crushing track, another amazing touch.
Masterful for all
This is you’re best rework yet

Yes
My two cents: I dig the slow, fade-in intro a la Blackened. I'm not 100% sure if it's being played backwards or not, but it sounds like it could be. Lots of little details are leaping out at me: You've added an extra slide to the riff (0:44) and changed some of the notes (0:47). I love the snare @ 0:51; it's very punchy and a good way to launch into the song. The audible bass is uncharacteristic of vintage Justice (0:52) but sounds awesome from a recording standpoint. Nice tom strike (0:57) to vary up the drum pattern. That thrum @ 1:01 sounds a bit dense, but I like it, playing-wise. The riff, here, has some added hooks and twists (1:04-1:10) that make it sound similar, but ultimately different from, the original. Nice bass insert (1:12) as well; less of an overt presence throughout the track, and more of an occasional spice similar to how Rob was treated on Death Magnetic.
James voice has been deepened, but he almost sounds like a different singer (1:15). That is, he's lower-sounding than his Master of Puppets self, but doesn't quite sound like he would on Justice, either. Love the staccato notes @ 1:31, and the chorus riffing (1:31-1:35) is on point. No complaints. I can hear potential small nod to the opening riff to Blackened (1:41-1:43); it's subtle, and very well done. James' voice might sound unlike himself, but it still sounds amazing when he shouts "Battery!" out of the blue (1:48)-especially when it's followed up by audible bass and double bass. More double bass @ 2:06. The toms-and-china pattern (2:17) is neat, as well. This might sound like a list of cool things I'm rattling off, but this is what I'm noticing so far and I love all of it.
The bridge transition a la Blackened (2:30) is awesome, complete with the steady kick and background harmonies. The bass slap capping off the crescendo @ 2:48 is sweet, but so is audible bass, in general. Much appreciated. The counterpoint here, establishing the main voice, followed by the additional voices, sounds incredibly awesome from a composition standpoint, but you've also managed to preserve the sound of the opening notes as heard on the original recording. They just have a Justice-type arrangement now and it's great. There's a bass harmonic(?) at 3:28, followed by a dandy of a solo. It resembles the original, but the dynamics and style are totally Justice; also the trills at the end really remind me of Frayed Ends of Sanity (correction: Dyers Eve), which is awesome.
After the solo, it's back into the verse, aided along by yet more double bass (3:58). The start-stop pattern @ (4:35) during the chorus, is great, as is the dramatic pause @ 5:01 (more audible bass, too!). Not 100% sure about the bass fill towards the very end (5:12) but considering it's really the only thing that stuck out as a potential negative, that's quite an accomplishment! The rhythm is the perfect blend of Puppets and Justice, and virtually every experiment or change in the song adds something new and fresh without sacrificing an ounce of momentum or power. This ranks up there with your best work, if not being the best thing you've recorded on your channel up to this point. And if you have more songs en route then I'm over the moon! Keep 'em coming! \m/
Nicholas van der Waard whoaaa how long did u took ur time to type this?
This comment is highly appreciated!
No one Is gonna read that fkin bible
Hi $0.02 man. I always see you on ahdy kairats page. Glad to see you distributing your pocket change here too!

0:10 Blackened Intro
1:49 Dyers Eve Verse
2:34 Blackened Bridge
3:29 Dyers Eve Solo
I live that you added that snare stop at 3:56, like in AJFA the song
*If Lords Of Summer (Garage Demo Version) was on Kill 'Em All* please
i got a beter idea: Lords of Summer in Justice
@@migueternum why not Kill?
Carlos Augusto Mares Dias Cause Bryce is more proficient at Justice. State of Mercury travels out of The other albums moreso
@@thetactician2787 All the more reason. I can't speak on his behalf, but from some of his polls he's had ideas that aren't just RTL, MOP and AJFA but people want that stuff
I feel of an idea for this song's intro
I love the fact that the intro reversed sound almost like Blackened's intro
If Welcome Home was on Black Album
The Harmonies are the best thing on AJFA, so happy you included some ! :D
1:38 I love this vocal change! Kudos my friend.
2:45 forward sounds CRAZY on acid, I was candy flipping and literally rewinded for like 5 minutes to that part, especially at the very end of the breakdown before the solo where the guitar pitches up right before the first solo section
gotta try
Ooh a little dyers eve in the solo. Love that!
You managed to make it longer than the original, truly is an and justice for all song now
This Is absolutely mind blowing
my neck is hurting
Haha same
The guitar riff is very percussive. That's awesome. Master of Justice For All.
Gotta love that nod to blackened though😂😂😂
That bridge to the solo is badass
This has to be the best one yet!!! I love the whole thing especially from the bridge to the end!! The kirk octave you added on the bridge intro gave me legit chills.
I absolutely love this. Especially the middle part where you brought back the intro harmony.
Hit the lights on ajfa
Lords of summer on ajfa
Metal militia on ajfa
Prince charming on ride the lightning
moron TV I’d honestly put Prince charming on kill em all. Chrous is reaaaally similar to The Four Horsemen. Maybe sub in vocal tracks for horsemen?
@@diztortedvisionz yeah but a ride the lightning style solo
2:27 - 3:26 Absolutely loved what you did here
This is your best work so far IMO the guitar section changes are just next level awesome stuff and great mixing man 😈🤘🤘🤘
Watched many of your crossovers. Dude, you're genius. Loved 'em all!
If Creeping Death was on Load....this is incredible btw
Got an idea, my favorite song on my favorite album... Fight Fire with Fire on ...And Justice for All
Hah i love the solo. Dyers eve, battery, battery, dyers eve lol genius.
There were k.e.a. licks in between as well. Nice hybrid solo.
I like the sound of the bass here!
You should
I love the fact that you incorporated some elements from the live performances (the absence of the second guitar at 0:49; the ending)
This is the first time I'm thoroughly impressed by any video of this kind. Unreal! Wow.
Is that David 504 at the start of the video! Lol!
Bryce.... I'm speechless. Listening to it I had the biggest smile on my face!!!!!
man this is awesome, thank you for great work!
The frayed fill at 3:29 is so good
I love the sound of that double bass at 3:59. Well done sir!
I would LOVE to see Fight Fire With Fire on Master of Puppets
Since this is about the change in sound/style, in my mind I always changed the meaning of this song. Instead of it being about assault and battery, I looked at the front cover and I thought of a artillery battery pounding a soldier on the receiving end into madness.
Wow, this is really good. I LOVE how you played the intro again in the bridge, it sounded amazing! You don't just transfer these songs to other albums, you improve them.
Wow! This is really awesome. That riff in the end was good too.
Honestly, i love it when bryce puts his stuff into these song reworks/ mixes other songs together, it fits so well and i love it. If he, SOM, and warhedd would make a band and tour, i would pay.
THANKS FOR KEEPING THE BASS I LOVE YOU
These remakes are going into my playlist for sure
*_Master Of Justice, And Puppets For All._*
Absolute fucking masterpiece!! Creeping Justice, Welcome home Justice
This fucking slaps dude, please never stop this quality of work.
I just keep on getting impressed. I love ya work my dude, keep on rocking and take care of ya self

Man, how you did it to to make James sound so natural? Holy shit
That fade in is unbelievable
Very excited for this! Thank you Bryce Barilla!
Very good. Nice riff combinations you made 😄
"Intro" is awesome
ALL master of puppets on ...and justice for ALL - For god Sake.! -
Okay. FIRST OF ALL, this is the first song I've heard on my new phone. SECOND, Your work never ceases to amaze me. It's done so well and I always listen to your stuff whenever I have internet. I even listen to your tone tests while I do chores. Please don't stop doing what you're doing because it's God's work. Also third, Is that ending a teaser?
That was incredible, Keep up the amazing work man!🤘🤘🤘
This is the most supreme thrash metal song I have ever listened to.
Yo this is insane. Definitely ur best work👏
Sounds amazing, man. Great work.
Thanks Man.Great work!
I like you put a spin on the riffs. It's not one, or the other.
Omfg i love this work, please keep doing this
Yea that was dope. Loving the riff vibe mixups
Master of Justice
...And justice for puppets
What's happened? Is this a competition? Oh no! Bryce Barilla vs StateOfMercury: "AND METAL(lica) WILL NEVER BE THE SAME..."
Love the Damage, Inc. interlude at the end lmao
Awesome work!
That fill at 1:04 is pure genius.
Fuel on St. Anger. That would be interesting
The vocals are done incredibly well
You are amazingly talented!!
Loving that little bit of bass
If Blackened was on St. Anger please! 🙏
This is simply brilliant
This is AWESOME! Great work Master of Justice 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Motorbreath on Load/Reload? :P
This is also fking incredible, i feel like we shouldn't be hearing this cause it's reserved for another timeline but nevertheless kicks ass!!
Yes, this is so awesome, I loved the reverse at the start, so Blackened, therefore it's awesome
No matter how long this took for you to do... It was time well spent. Amazing work fella! :)
I'll learn this to play this at shows instead of the original. Good work man
Relearning your version now. Haven’t had fun like this since... 1988? 😇
The wait was worth it.
This is fucking amazing. So much better than any of their own new shit!
Dude the LIKES you get, are earned brother! Blown away...wish I would have heard these when you released them. As a guitar player growing up with this album (like most guitarist) I learned every song front and back. So for me to hear this is hair tasing! It’s like Metallica themselves went into the studio and spent weeks reworking them... as many Metallica fan’s, I feel AJFA and Puppets are their best work. Lars and James spent countless hours working out timing changes. James used ONLY “down stroke” picking on Justice, the “gallop” timings are impressive... (for those who are not guitar players) down stroking only means that you have to play TWICE as fast as someone who will use “up strokes” when galloping. For a “rhythm” guitar player taking the pick down then up on the E, A, and D string while the PALM of the pick hands softly lies on the strings near the bridge, this mutes the sound and allows the guitarist to play quick rhythms and gives that percussion type sound... but James, with an amazing ear, ONLY Down strokes each note, (for example) he will hit the E string with hit pic, instead of allowing his pick to hit the E string as he comes back up to get into position to hit the E string again, he has to pull his pic away from the E string so he doesn’t strike it, so he can strike downward... he does this about 15 times a second. The sound you get from doing all down stroke is the sound you hear on JUSTICE and somehow you pulled that off! ***MIND BLOWN***
(This is going to be a stupid question, but HOW THE HECK DID YOU DO THIS!?) If it’s software then you coded it because I have never heard of any program that could pull this off...the code would be ungodly large.
Anyway HATS OFF... I hope people are donating some money for the sheer joy they get for hearing (not only a NEW song from Metallica) BUT AN AMAZING song like they USE to release!
These are so good
Dude that china cymbal is fucking badass
@Bryce Barilla I would honestly love to see the rest of the MOP album on AJfA, it'd be a cool project, keep up the great work man
RECORD EVERYTHING IN THE JUSTICE TONE!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
This is just too good
Master of justice/...And justice for puppets
OMG...he's telling me to DO IT NOW. UNBELIEVABLE...
