It was so cool-the entire cast actually played the parts and the drum major played Robin Hood and actually conducted the band from the field level instead of the drum major’s stand

At Marine World Africa USA (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) this song was used as the intro to the 1995 Magic Show. It was the most epic thing I ever witnessed as a five year old.
By pure coincidence while watching this movie on tv, I found out that this music plays while you wait on line for the cable cars at Six Flags Great Adventure! I've always wondered where it came from and now I know. 😃
I heard this before when I got the movie Disney's Enchanted this theme played for I believe one of Disney's anniversary that I don't remember which number it was.
They used this on the EPSN's SportsCentury's episode for Secretariat. One of the finest melding of music and athletics. You won't see another massive Chestnut the likes of him.
This played as part of a mix and when I heard it start, I was absolutely convinced it was HBO's 'From the Earth to the Moon' until it turned left. Turns out it's the same composer, lots of similarity between the two. They could be remixed together pretty well for a super long extended dance version of either theme.
Even though my favourite Robin Hood adaptation is the classic MCMXXXVIII version starring Errol Flynn, THIS main theme is the one I hear in mine ears when I see, read, or hear the name Robin Hood.
