These two are some of my favorite parts of the movie too. I love the beginning overture and the scene by the river when Robin sends Marian, Sarah, and Duncan away. You can tell neither of them want to be parted from the other.
One of the first films to include a positive, gorgeous and fair view about the Islam. A christian and a musslim fighting together for the future and the hope of the poor. Touching. More films like that in that dark times of prejudices.
I probably play this at least every other day in my car, it's such a passionate beautiful montage of brilliant music.... I really really wish I could download it!!!
This gives me chills also. I played it with my orchestra a while back and everyone was complaining about how repetitive the string part is (I'm also a string player), but it just has a magnificence about it that certain pieces of music has.
These are the best scores in any movie ever created in my opinion. And the way you edited them together is awesome. .i love listening to it..thank you very much for uploading it..
the thing about the french horn is that it sounds like it's holding back. Like it wants to erupt into the high notes like the trumpet, but it knows that it's building tension.
Duncan: "Curse those Moors and Saracens. If it wasn't for them and their ungodly ways, Master Robin would have never left. What manner of name is Azeem? Scottish? Cornish?" Azeem, coming closer: "Moorish...."
I like this much better than the original. I agree that the "prisoner" part just didn't feel right to fall right after the overture. I used to have this soundtrack on a cassette tape and I would fast forward pass the prisoner part music all the time.
Brilliant main theme. A clear field, a fast horse and you can gallop with the wind at your back and a smile on your face.
perfect blending of two fabulous pieces of music
One of the greatest movies & soundtracks of all time ❤
Definitely. Michael Kamens best work
Absolutely. This film is the reason i fell in love with movies. It's the first movie i watched in theaters when i was 8 years old 💚
the Maid Marian piece makes my heart melt! RIP Michael Kamen, and thankyou for giving us the most beautiful soundtrack ever
Agree agree agreeeee!!!

High adventure about friendship, tolerance and generosity. Love it. One the best films about Robin Hood. Amazing character building too.
Tolerance? even in Ronbin Hood there is multiculturalism! AHAHAHA
Yes it is! Is everywhere and anytime through the history of the mankind.
You're the result of the multiculturalism.

....Danke Kevin....für diesen Film....und diese Musik!.... Musik für immer!!!....
Did that one guy do both these pieces ... epic and beautiful ... cant be that us twisted little humans made something so divine
Micheal Kamen made many good Soundtracks in the 90s :)
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
My thanks to you for cutting these two tracks together.
You're welcome, glad you like it.
“I’ll do it for you”
Robin Hood the Prince of thieve the best Soundtrack and Movie

Wonderful cut. Still one of my fave movies. :-)
great job. I play violin for a long time now and love composures!
Superb.
great soundtrack for a great movie, thank's
Lovely Edit 👏👏👏👏 One of my all time faves
It's the french horn. Always gives a chill, be it Wagner or film music.
Absolutly agree to that.
the thing about the french horn is that it sounds like it's holding back. Like it wants to erupt into the high notes like the trumpet, but it knows that it's building tension.
It's not as sharp as a trumpet nor as abrasive as a trombone. It has a mournfulness to its sound
Duncan:
"Curse those Moors and Saracens. If it wasn't for them and their ungodly ways, Master Robin would have never left. What manner of name is Azeem? Scottish? Cornish?"
Azeem, coming closer:
"Moorish...."
King music.
Fantastic Job ! Thank You.
Thanks for your feedback :)
Nicely done 👏👏👏
Spetacular good job!
Thanks.
Wish they would bring the 4k version out.
Awesome man!
this part 6:56 when the girl you like, kisses you for the first time.
well done -
Underrated theme... this is in the same tier as Star Wars and Indiana Jones ones. Even if the movie wasn't
thanks, geat picture and soundtrack
Thanks :)
I cuttet the "prisoner" part nearly complete out, cause to me, it somehow felt wrong in there.
Did you edit this together? Or is this a track that we can purchase! It's such a perfect combination of the soundtrack, I'd love to purchase! x
Yes i edited them together, but there is no purchasable version of it.
Very well cut together!!! :D xxxx
Thanks, much appreciated.
I concur. Its fucking epic !! X
Love 2:20
"She fancies you"
"He" Duncan says that to her :)
"I may be blind master, but some things I can still see"
He fancies you my lady I may be blind but there some things I can still see
@@tideswell1987 Duncan played by the late Walter Sparrow, died 21 years ago - great character actor.
This really captures the edginess, energy and the romance of the middle ages.
i had played at my wedding when i walked in my hushund was robian hood
Nice :)

6:56 = Greatness!
Yes! That’s up there with anything John Williams has ever done. Truly stunning.

but that was when it appeared in the movie, so it had to follow. I always liked the eerie feeling I got right after the heroic theme.
