To all those people getting goosebumps watching this.. stop being stupid.. they are happy with this minimalist lifestyle because they have a steady cash inflow and a big bank balance and they know they won’t ever run out of food or shelter.. the money in the bank and pockets is what is giving them that peace of mind.. he himself says that the villagers live the same lifestyle but are not happy because they don’t have the money to meet their basic needs.. so stop being stupid and go to work and earn money.. and once you have a steady passive income and a good bank balance then you can try stunts like this

In 20's chase money like hell and earn enough so that you add assests(flats or rents) and stocks that will give you monthly enough money around 70-80k /month and then leave job and live minimization life with monthly rents

@@rangapp nothing much gaurav just never give up and never get satisfied with what you have until you reach your goal amount
Like in my case i started my career at 26 , before that i was just preparing for government job and doing menial jobs to support that study but after continuously failing i accepted the destiny and moved on into IT
Because goal is one and you have many paths to reach there
So i just started working in IT and build passive income slowly slowly.
I always believed to spend on resources instead of savings and take risk
So after 2 year of job , I started food stall with the recipe I mastered in 2 year , then I buy some second hand vehicles and placed them in school transport and invested in some of my friends talent , you can compare it with investing money on their talent and take partnership in it
So basically savings from my job was zero but parallely i created many streams which funded and helped me in buying 2 properties which give me these return
Both are residential property in Delhi
4 floor building and rent from 1 floor is 12000 so 7 floor are on rent and on floor we live

That's the beauty of Minimalism, anyone can follow it anywhere. You don't have to move to the jungle; you can sell off your unwanted possessions, avoid impulse buying or lifestyle upgrades, declutter and organize your living space, clear your debts and invest your savings. Not only does this help save money, it also frees up your time to focus on productive thoughts, while the insecurity of maintaining all your expensive possessions goes away helping you sleep better.

here in the north, we are living a life to get a good job and then good marriage, and people on the other side living the life at fullest, very inspiring
this best describes the word satisfaction.

It is true that we don't need much, but we need to have some goals whatever makes you happy and makes sense for you.

Inspiring... though it can be labelled as 'dilemma of the rich' as you were financially secure. Would like to know - how much is your presence really helping the local people strengthen their own 'natural' lifestyle. 🙂

Inspiring. Courageous step, which led to realization happinness comes so simple. And the great community help initiative to the needy, deprived remote people.
I am however unclear how their son's education, schooling is going on given they stay in remote. I think that too is important to equip the child with education so that he can earn and then find whichever path he chooses in future. Like, even today, the family is banking on saving and money reserve that they created from former earning.
Can you pls clarify how they manage child's schooling where they now stay in the remote area?

Anything in extremes is bad, be it minimalism or consumerism. I have been practicing minimalism since the past 2 years but it's hard convincing my wife why I can't buy her the clothes she wants or my daughter the toys she loves. But the fact remains that the more you own, the more you spend to maintain and store those possessions. Money in the bank is better than a Mercedes in the garage.
