To all those people getting goosebumps watching this.. stop being stupid.. they are happy with this minimalist lifestyle because they have a steady cash inflow and a big bank balance and they know they won’t ever run out of food or shelter.. the money in the bank and pockets is what is giving them that peace of mind.. he himself says that the villagers live the same lifestyle but are not happy because they don’t have the money to meet their basic needs.. so stop being stupid and go to work and earn money.. and once you have a steady passive income and a good bank balance then you can try stunts like this

That's the beauty of Minimalism, anyone can follow it anywhere. You don't have to move to the jungle; you can sell off your unwanted possessions, avoid impulse buying or lifestyle upgrades, declutter and organize your living space, clear your debts and invest your savings. Not only does this help save money, it also frees up your time to focus on productive thoughts, while the insecurity of maintaining all your expensive possessions goes away helping you sleep better.

I have been practicing minimalism since the past 2 years but it's hard convincing my wife why I can't buy her the clothes she wants or my daughter the toys she loves. I would not like it, I want to have fun with a friend, have gf, do parties, live in a hostel without parents far from home for some years, and learn about the challenges of the real world. I think to have that maturity that rural life is great first u have to be in a busy world, the parent did but the kid didn't. if u don't have a kid then this is great, but if u have then I douth.

07:50 Stable monthly income via rent.. but we got a tenant who is a scammer. She wont pay rent or leave.. 5 months back we have police complaint but she keeps giving new reasons and she dint leave.. we now are sending notice and apply for eviction next month.. so next 3 years we have no rent and spending on court. Electricity and water not disconnected by authorities as the tenant claims she is living there. And we ourselves live in rented house in Bangalore

Wow... Inspiring. This is something I always wanted to do and in fact am in the process. But frankly I could not help but get stuck with the tittle. 1 crore job means you were getting paid about 8.3 lakhs per month. I didn't know HR would would get such huge pay check!!

Inspiring. Courageous step, which led to realization happinness comes so simple. And the great community help initiative to the needy, deprived remote people.
I am however unclear how their son's education, schooling is going on given they stay in remote. I think that too is important to equip the child with education so that he can earn and then find whichever path he chooses in future. Like, even today, the family is banking on saving and money reserve that they created from former earning.
Can you pls clarify how they manage child's schooling where they now stay in the remote area?

They are talking of minimalism... Thats the core point here...as she said - the value of 10 Rs...you can live in a city - but be mindful of the needless consumption
