By the end of battlefield IV lifespan, it was my favorite battlefield. I tend to prefer the ones based in present-day. Haven't played V, I am eagerly awaiting VI though!

Didn’t get why so many people hated it when it first came out. Granted, I thought BF1 was better, but this game wasn’t a huge drop off in my opinion. It’s a nice change of pace from all the other FPS games that dominate the scene right now.
It’s totally worth it!! So much nostalgic moments when you found people to play with communication! I just played the most intense game, where we pushed for 10mins for one tank, and finally destroyed it.. damn its a good game!!
Thanks for the review! The game is very beautiful! I was in complete shock when I saw The beautiful graphics in Iwo Jima and the other maps. It’s amazing just how huge these maps are. Plus the detail on the soldiers hands, outfits , and the weapons are amazing. The only thing that bothers me is the loading screens and the campaign story. I really wanted a USA soldier story that’s similar to “saving Private Ryan”. Plus the level progression is way too slow and the game doesn’t give you enough credits to buy weapons. A regular campaign would’ve been fine. I wouldn’t mind if the campaign would switch from the US to the British and then maybe the Russians like world at war did. It’s interesting that they also gave the Germans a campaign and from what I heard it’s the best one in there

the problem of the problem of the campaign os that they promised that they would be telling historical events and historical figures that weren't well shown on games or movies like the eastern front and battles on the north but instead they ditched everything for badly writing story with original characters historical anachronism like a girl that never fired a gun in her life and out of nowhere survived frostbite and singlehanded took out one of the best quarded german base or completely twist event happened on the retake of paris making the french soldiers racist them they actually weren't

I am going to look into this as it seems to be a very common problem. Initial advice: Restart console Restore Licenses (system settings) Booting into safe mode to rebuild data base can also solve lots of issues! I will get back to you if I find a definite solution.
Its free on ps plus and I've already sunk like 10 hours within 2 days 😂 Having fun, it's not as good as it's older games like battlefield 4 but it's really good. I actually feel like I'm doing something when I play medic because I'm not that great at the game but I revive anyone I can.

@@canofcheese5682 Rainbow 6 is slow paced and tactical, BFV is not. Cod is fast past and also not tactical. Its more similar to cod but with a higher time to kill, so its a bit slower than cod.
Now if they make Battlefield 6 as big as a dayz map that would be awesome! Random weather from sunny days to night or evening storms and lightning would be a cool feature to see...but most of all MAKING THE ENEMY TEAM WAY DIFFERENT LOOKING INTERMS OF GEAR, WEAPONS AND SO ON IS SOMETHING I THINK BATTLEFIELD AS BEEN LACKING FOR A LONG TIME NOW.

for me what really lets this game down is the gunplay it feels like it has no weight at all and some of the gun sounds are awful sound like airsoft guns it feels like a massive step back on what BF1 did the gunplay in BF1 is super responsive and feels for lack of better words really meaty also BF1 atmosphere and level of chaos is amazing BF5 just feels empty and dull there arent massive explosions that rumble your screen or anything its all very static doesn't really feel like your fighting in a war. BF1 however explosions were going off everywhere enemies and allies scream on the battlefield and its overall way more atmospheric

I've seen the reviews, way too many hackers in the game and getting away with it and a guy reporting about that gets his forum post blocked for spam or some shit, the community is toxic and the game is a joke, ea doesn't give a shit but $ only.
I was playing the missions and the snow one but it’s so buggy sometimes guns bug out and you can’t shoot, sometimes the npc can’t die and are immortal.
It’s added to the library. My main gripe with these games is they take up a lot of gigs. Hopefully it doesn’t take up that much. Lol! Going to download it.
My mates and I fell off this game fast. Developers kowtowed far too much to so called "influencer's" who complained that BF1's scoring system, on Conquest maps, didn't reward players like them who rack up heaps of kills. Heavens forbid the developers should reward players of all kills levels who actually play the objective.

Imo battlefield V is great but compared to battlefield 1 and 4 it’s definitely the worst (but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game as it’s still great). Overall it’s good for casuals (people new to battlefield) but I don’t suggest it for people who’s played battlefield 1,4 or 3

It is free right now for PS Plus, I tried it for a few hours and disliked it. The gun mechanics, very very rough, even a few years after launch. The guns somehow feel less responsive and clunky than BF1 guns. It does not feel like the usual BF, it's a poor effort in my opinion. Hoping BF6 is better.

I don't understand the hate for this game. Claimed it for free and I wish I had bought it. It's a great battlefield game. It adds in a lot of refinements and brings back features from older BF games.

Just bough this game and glad I bough it for 2€ because this game is not worh any more than it. The match making is worst I ever seen in whole online games. As new player - noob match making drops with another noobs against pro players. Waste of time and absolutely no fun to play without any chances for win.
I brought this game when it originally was released I was hoping for a world war 2 version of BF1. How disappointed was I. The campaign is spot on but the multiplayer is pants. They got BF1 so right and totally screwed up BFv I’m still to this day playing BF1 I’ve tried with BF5 just can’t get on with it. If you get it for free then cool enjoy but don’t expect to much.
IDK how much you hate it! But COD lost me here, and BF5 won me. I am only campaign players, not a online one. I love WW games. One of the best games for me and I enjoyed it thoroughly, With GTA 5, San andreas and road rash, BF5 will stay in my system always.

It’s really not that bad a deal. Sometimes you get games that you would never buy, but turn out to be really fun.

I think the best part is its nowhere near the size of Modern Warfare, so I can actually have other games on my Ps4 Pro along with BF5.

I was playing the missions and the snow one but it’s so buggy sometimes guns bug out and you can’t shoot, sometimes the npc can’t die and are immortal.

My mates and I fell off this game fast. Developers kowtowed far too much to so called "influencer's" who complained that BF1's scoring system, on Conquest maps, didn't reward players like them who rack up heaps of kills. Heavens forbid the developers should reward players of all kills levels who actually play the objective.

Imo battlefield V is great but compared to battlefield 1 and 4 it’s definitely the worst (but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game as it’s still great). Overall it’s good for casuals (people new to battlefield) but I don’t suggest it for people who’s played battlefield 1,4 or 3

So fast TTK makes for split second reaction time, which is a good thing, but in Call Of Duty Ghosts fast TTK is considered bad, wtf
It is free right now for PS Plus, I tried it for a few hours and disliked it. The gun mechanics, very very rough, even a few years after launch. The guns somehow feel less responsive and clunky than BF1 guns. It does not feel like the usual BF, it's a poor effort in my opinion. Hoping BF6 is better.

Make sure you have completed all of the download and have compled the into! The firestorm battle royale is completely dead though sadly!

It's a great battlefield game. It adds in a lot of refinements and brings back features from older BF games.
filled with hackers, problems on the release, UI and UX problems, DICE responses, visibility, etc... that made players lose interest in the game resulting in them not know much about the current state of it, also have in mind the game only became good after the Pacific update

Just bough this game and glad I bough it for 2€ because this game is not worh any more than it. The match making is worst I ever seen in whole online games. As new player - noob match making drops with another noobs against pro players. Waste of time and absolutely no fun to play without any chances for win.

I brought this game when it originally was released I was hoping for a world war 2 version of BF1. How disappointed was I. The campaign is spot on but the multiplayer is pants. They got BF1 so right and totally screwed up BFv

You get around 40 games for that price and you can play online. The last few months alone gave us: BF V, Final Fantasy 7 remake, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s really not that bad a deal. Sometimes you get games that you would never buy, but turn out to be really fun.
