I have spent a lot of time in Gifford Pinchot riding and also camping with my wife. I love it up in the high lakes area. edit: Yes, it is used for snowmobile rec. Parts of the year in some areas you can't drive any wheeled vehicles. Tracks only. There are a few snow park parking areas. A couple of them have nice large huts with big wood stoves in them. Open to use but no staying in them and you have to share them with anyone who wants or needs them also.
Stock pressures are 33/37. I think I ran the WABDR at pretty much street pressures. If I know it's gonna get pretty technical I'll drop it to mid/low 20s. I avoid pinch flats as much as possible so I won't go lower than about 22psi on this big of a bike.
@user-ud9rs5qq9s because of the diversions in section 1 and then being with the big group I was moving pretty slow. I would imagine smaller group and better riders would be able to go faster.
Happy veterans day. Thank you for our service.
Early June 2022. I was gonna ask the date but found your response below. Thanks for sharing.

Im am yet to ride a BDR, have to try one out next season

Man your chiro gave you your money's worth 💪😂
How would you rank the difficulty of section 1 vs section 2? I did section 2 last year and looking to do section 1.
2 is definitely more difficult, 3 is probably the most difficult but there are a few technical bits in basically every section.
What do you lower your tire pressure to for loose sand vs rockier terrain? Great video!

Do you ever use your drone to explore the trail ahead (like when you hit snow)?
Not enough range.
@@MeerkatADV what's the range on it? Also what type is it (I think I may have watched something about it but I can't recall)
@@keyehsaw Skydio 2, max range is about 500 yards before it'll go into return mode.
What time of year did you do this?
Mid June
Looks amazing! Do you have a video of the mods on your bike?
Yep, there are two further back in the planning stages.
@@MeerkatADV I'll keep digging! Semper Fi, happy (late b-day!)
How long did it take you to get through each of the first two sections? Thanks in advance
Basically a day each.
@@MeerkatADV thanks. Myself and a buddy of mine are doing the first two sections this weekend. Super excited

Well if chiropractors look like that….
