Yup, Yam day. Another trip to the beautiful wall of Bow Valley. Just wanted to do this before it snows again for the season. Also wanted to experience the scree down one more time. I did scree about five years ago and after that even though I went up but came down the west col way, so this time intention was SCREE. Trail to the summit is quite clear upto Raven’s end and after that blue squares are quite strategically placed and there is little chance for you loose track. It’s a climb, scramble, so be prepared but its not that hard. For me the crus is the downclimb after the chain section. That’s a bit sketchy and need more attention and focus. Other than that….pretty good exercise. Scree was fun as expected. As I was getting closer to the scree, I was getting nervous but then when I saw it, I sighed..oh, that’s gonna be fun and it was….Loved it and that will be my route in all the future visits. No more boring west col.
