I just noticed a cool little detail on the cover art. The daedric symbols in the triangle corners are different than those in Morrowind's logo (and ESO Morrowind). The Morrowind characters stand for A, S, and V (Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec). Here the characters are A, B, and M (Azura, Boethiah, and Mephala). Outstanding attention to detail from the artist!
On the one hand I like that, on the other I'm not sure if I like the overall art as much because of it. When I didn't notice the changed symbols, I thought it meant more, because if you look at it that way, it's the Tribunal symbol being divided and destroyed by a vast Azura's star with magma in the middle, (Red Mountain/the eruption). A summary of Morrowind's history for the past several hundred years, as Azura's prophecy and champion completely shattered the preexisting order and ushered in the downfall of Morrowind.
Holy fuck 3 hours of soundtrack, this fan-project definitely has a big passion and I applaud that, cant wait to see this entire mod.
I still listen to the bruma soundtrack at least once a week, if this is of the same caliber :D /clap
Enjoy.
Too bad the uploader ruined the entire thing by setting the volume way too high, so it has a horrible crackly distortion. I sure wish youtube would limit the volume of uploads to a professional max level. This happens all over youtube, but it's a real shame when it happens to something like this. But it's not just youtube where this happens. It's all over "pro" recordings these days, and Bethesda is one of the few game companies that actually sets a professional volume level for their games. Their a great standard in this way, and others could learn a lot by listening to the difference.
Not bashing anyone, these are just the observations of an actual recording engineer.
This as more than just a "fan-project", Morrowind alone is like a whole new game.
@@ulfricstormcloak3211 this is a very Ulfric Stormcloak thing to say.
The beyond skyrim projects started as separate. Each province is it's own project with the (mostly) other people. ES6 is not coming before 2026, possibly later. They will not finish it by than, but we will probably get more prereleases like Bruma.
Regardless, ES6 does not mean work on this project stops. Just look at the Morrowind modding community, still alive and kicking after almost 20 years and it only gets better.
Holy shit I was expecting only 1 track not the whole ost
Can't wait to play whole of Tamriel on my RTX 9080 Ti :P
Most certainly isn’t gonna be a 3080 ti because the fucking 5080 will be out before we can get one
We'll probably be stoked to play it on 8k 150 fps on an RTX 15080 only to realize the most recent several generations are sold out between still ongoing silicone shortages and a resurgence in cryptomining so we'll have to settle for a measly RTX 11080 with just 6k 90 fps or something
is this a kind of chair?
@@arlaux1099 yes that is the joke
I'll be playing this on the RTX 9 million 80 TI.
I always love love love hearing these. It’s amazing to hear Jeremy’s work inspire something so original and refreshing, yet comforting and familiar. Eric did an incredible job with this!
Honestly, ever composer working on BS is a master. Incredible
Bruh this dude just made a 3 and a half hour long resumé. I REALLLLLLY hope he gets to where he wants to be in life because this was a fuckin delight to listen to.
Holy crap! This sound track is better than those found in most triple A games. Outstanding job.
Beyond Skyrim's ost are so good it's nearly indecent.
the remix of secunda at 1:19:49 is amazing!
Agreed
A remix and a rearrangement are 2 very different things.
A reMIX would be taking the original song and adding/impoving the AUDIO.
A reARRANGEMENT would be taking the original song and changing how it is COMPOSED.
@@kidnamedalaska You are right but the capital letters make you seem tightly saddled on your high horse.
There are a lot devoted people working this project i hope they are as happy with their work as we are when it releases.
Dear god, it is here. Excellent work.
I couldn't get enough of the title track when it was streamed, it is so good to hear it finished, it completely captures the wonder that I felt when I first set foot on Vvardenfell.
We have so much to listen to now, we are truly lucky to be graced by such a labour of love.
I found it hilarious that beyond skyrim is probably gonna be better than all the games Bethesda comes out with. Keep working hard everyone amazing work!
Just like Enderal!
I was getting worried they, hadn't released something in a while. This project is perhaps among the most important of Skyrim mods. Behind skyblivion and skywind. But once those two mods are released perhaps more crew will flock to beyond Skyrim and help do the work
Beyond skyrim are skyblivion and skywind... and lots of other projects with different teams.

This is simply amazing. Great to hear it uses some elements of Jeremy Soule's masterpiece music and still manages to be something fresh and new.
This does a masterful work of mixing both old and new stuff. I'm swooning with nostalgia for both Morrowind and Skyrim here.
This is absolutely astounding! I've only just begun listening but the knowledge of having three and a half hours of gorgeous music to listen to just made my night! You guys are truly something special!!!
REALLY THANK YOU FOR THE ALBUM ON THE SPOTIFY
Waited a couple of days after seeing this went up because I figured we were getting a couple of songs at most... three and a half hours of soundtrack? Incredible.

With respect to how its free & a passion project. But to be honest the server looks like it is understaffed not to mention its volunteers only AND its supposed to release like 5 major skyrim sized or bigger games with 3 additional smaller ones, if they focused on Cyrodill first as its the biggest & connects to every other province we would have Somthin by now, hek they even did Bruma as a teaser so why not release that and gain new volunteers... unironily i only expect 2 or 3 of their projects to release before ES6 and they get left in the dust over refusal to bend the rules and covertly hiring like 20 core devs to churn out progress...
Well its on them, they would have had no problems reaching out to some of the biggest skyrim youtubers and getting them to raise funds for whatever cover story & then give it to beyond bruma to hire their volunteers to put in more hours, you just deny its happening and dont brag about it, whats Bethesda gonna do, its free marketing keeping skyrim sellable for them.
@@reynard4823 Thing is, most devs aren't really on the public server. And Beyond Skyrim is a collaboration of individual groups (at least that was the case 3 years ago) that help each other out but generally they're doing their own passion project, hence the many different projects. Whether all of them are ever going to release of course depends on how well they can keep making progress.

Ahh, the memories...
Great bit of work in general there. If the music is anything close to the same standards as the rest of the project, I'm sure it will be well worth the time it's taking to make.

Awesome
I haven't heard about the project completion so far. Is it nearly finished now? Such a huge undertaking!
Nop. But one day!
in 2 years most likely. None of these mods is near finished.

@@reynard4823
I think you're a bit confused about a couple things.
First, Beyond Skyrim isn't understaffed. They've got more than enough people and they're always hiring new volunteers. A lot of people want to work on this project.
I don't think you understand how Beyond Skyrim works. It's not a company. It's a bunch of seperate teams working under the same brand. They can't assign people to work on Cyrodiil as each person wants to work on what they signed up for. Someone working on Elsweyr might not be interested at all in Cyrodiil.
I'm not sure what you mean about releasing Bruma. They did release it, and gained a massive boost of publicity and gained more volunteers for each project.
Lastly, they don't get money from this. Infact, they can't. It's illegal. There's no point in a UA-camr raising funds as there's nowhere for it to go, and there's no way to pay people for their work.
What's Bethesda gonna do you ask? They'll send a cease and desist to shut the project down.
I check this channel and the discord just about every day for even the tiniest bit of new info on this project. The teasers that've been shown are truly incredible, and Bruma literally ruined every other new lands mod for me.
I feel like it's safe to say I'm a bit of a fanboy for this project lol
Well, as some one who knows nothing about it, may I ask what you, someone who knows lots about it, can tell me?
Wealth Beyond Measure
Can't wait to hear this in the mod when it gets released and I'm 83 years old and on my deathbed.

@@reynard4823 I kinda feel like it would've been better to have all 7 teams work on Cryodiil, and when each group has done their part on Cyrodiil, that group moves on to Iliac Bay, and eventually Cyrodiil would be finished and they'd release it and would then be working on Iliac Bay, with some groups who have less to do already working on say Morrowind, and so on, but they have said why this tactic wouldn't work :/
@@onelusciouslad7841
Well they couldn't do that because the individual volunteers signed to the project/s that they wanted to work on. Beyond Skyrim started with each project being completely seperate with their own teams. If someone who signed up to Elsweyr was forced to work on Cyrodiil, they'd probably just quit.
@@sidicle6537 Yeah I know, I said at the end of the comment that they said it wouldn't work, and I understand the reasoning completely

Secunda !!!! Oh my god. oh....yeeees ! I cry. 🙂
But when is it being released!? 11.11.21? I’m dying to play Beyond Skyrim!
Same boat, but it seems like they are still a long way off from releasing anything. They really need to start ramping up of releasing something pretty soon, like Roscrea...
The provinces will be released separately from one another, with prereleases preceding some of their full releases. From what they said in previous streams Roscrea is the closest to completion owing to its scale and its easy adaption of existing Skyrim assets. Roscrea likely won’t have a prerelease, from what I understand. It will simply drop completed, but that release is probably still a far way out. My hope is that it’s a year, but for all we know it could be like 3. Most projects should be complete in the next 5 years, however, in time to release before TESVI. Seems the releases will go in the likely order of Roscrea, New North prerelease (Morrowind), Atmora, Cyrodiil full release, Illiac Bay prerelease, Morrowind full release, Illiac Bay full release, Elyswere prerelease, Elyswere full release, Blackmarsh prerelease, and Blackmarsh full release. These are massive and fully voluntary projects, however, so things can change and fluctuate a lot, and time estimates beyond vague timelines are really hard to do until the release is just around the bend.
@@lif6737 Thing is, they got to set themselves a deadline soon (I know all of these projects are volunteer based), honestly once Starfield releases next year, ESVI is next after this, if they want to make sure these mods have enough sub-mod (off the mod themselves) life until ESVI releases (when I suspect people modding Skyrim will drop a huge amount when the mod tools for ESVI releases), the popularity of these mods just won't be there if they release too close to ESVI. With how many projects there are going on, they have to get going on a deadline of one of these project soon (even if its a pre-release), and people need to stick to these getting completed because of the scale of these mods and hopefully not join, then drop out... Its great they want to make it as perfect as they can be, but that is what post-release is for if they want to go back and change certain things around.
Also don't forget that Valenwood and Alinor might be joining this collaboration at some point as well.
@@Finger112 Don't worry about this after release of ES VI, skyrim will be played even after, for oblivion and morrowind are still some new mods.

How that project can take so many time
You won't understand until you work on a game yourself, or maybe a super large project. It's daunting and huge, and even small things can take ridiculous effort and polish.
Im guessing that new north is the on top for release? even if the date is uncalculable.
this has blown me away. It sounds as good as an official bethesda OST
I feel like "The Architect of Time" has themes from some other song I know. Maybe another Elder Scrolls track? Can anyone ID it?
wait did Beyond Skyrim:Morrowind come out already or is it in the making??
Beyond Skyrim: Akavir, when?
Is this composition changed just enough to not infringe on musical copyright of Bethesda's?
Mechanical licenses were secured for all Elder Scrolls related themes so there is no worry there! :)
is beyond skyrim still activbly worked on
Yeah it's a slow process but that's to be expected, they may release more teasers like bruma to get more publicity and hopefully more volunteers from what it sounds roscrea isn't that far off from being finished so we'll see
