My dad owned a 96 limited with a 4 liter. Loved it. My dad told me one day: hauls like a mule but it drinks like a camel.

This is my first car! 1996 Explorer Limited 5.0, was my dads and got passed on to me. Fully loaded, black exterior, tan interior. My hood struts don’t work, and my cruise control buttons are completely worn, haha.

That’s awesome! We owned this since 2000. So I never lived a day without it :)

I had a 99 AWD v8 Limited years back. Had Flowmasters and a few things done under the hood.
Was a fun ride for what it was.

It's very easy to replace the cruise control. I did that on my 1996 Explorer. The struts are easy and cheap to replace. I just bought mine last August for $500. The guy that sold it to me included a brand new radiator, since it was leaking. The only downside is the low gas mileage. But it's a great SUV for driving in the snow.

Matias Fernandes Greetings! That’s awesome keep that ranger up! We had this explorer since July of 2000. Never letting it go, might get a new paint job on it and replace the headliner soon though. Thanks for tuning in!

11:22 Nice video I own exact SUV except XLT. Has over 300K mi on it . Oil flush & fuel injector cleaner helped out. Has several brake lines corroded in NYC & need replacement
MY Wife will not step foot into car because it had no brakes due to initial fluid loss in lines lol. Can’t say I blame her. Hard to give her up like an admiral attached to his aircraft carrier.

This is actually my first car, it's nearly in the same condition however mine was neglected for a few years by the previous owners so it's got some stains that are nearly impossible to get out on the front/rear. Feels awesome to drive though

Ive seen jeep Wagoners get destroyed in that awful program witch can sell up to 70k already today. I really think alot of cars including the ford the explorers will probably shoot up in value probably in the next 5/10 years

Did you add in the aftermarket radio? Was it a simple setup, or did you have to totally rewire everything? Let me know how you did it.
