TekMan05 that’s awesome! Thanks for the comment! Funny you commented today because on this day “July 14th 2000” is when our explorer came into our family. I’ve seen your vids too! Yours sounds hella good 😎👍
I love my 1996 Ford Explorer. It's the XLT V8 (5 liter), but not the Limited Trim. It runs great, and it only cost me $500. That included a brand new radiator, which the previous owner didn't want to put in.
I also heard talks of a new cash for clunkers could happen so keep this beauty from the crusher because almost every first and second gen was shredded back in 2009
The explorer 5.0 was slightly better than the mustangs and f-150s because they didn't have distributors. A few small differences but those distributors was the biggest weakness on those other 5.0s
@@streetstallion yessir. The old 5.0 & 5.8 F-150s/Broncos used distributors its kinda deep on the passenger side of the engine bay. The explorer 5.0 used the same coil packs as the early 4.6 v8 Mustangs, The part numbers are even interchangeable. You wouldn't see a power gain but if the OE part is unavailable the 4.6 mustang coils would work the same. But Nice truck man i love these reviews 👑
Street Stallion my mom had a 1997 blue Eddie Bauer idk if the engine was swapped or not but i remember it had some parts on the engine blue it was bad ass gas guzzler for sure but it was a monster she had another one too maroon color Eddie Bauer that was a monster too but that blue one maaaaaaaan when I say monster I mean MONSTER
