    absolutely love this vehicle! I have the 2001 Ford Expedition 4.6L V8 Groton. with 385,000 some odd miles. even though the fuel pump went out this last week it's easy to diagnose the problem. it runs like new and my gas mileage is about 24mpg on the highway. Bought my beauty in mint condition for the small price of $1,100 from a couple who's had it as the only owner since 2001. this vehicle has me sitting comfortable even though I'm at 6'6" tall and all legs. it's a dream SUV would recommend to anyone.

      Yea I'm going to get another one soon. I'm looking at a 2007...4.6. Pretty sweet inside and clean. I'd still get a 2000 model one also if I see a nice one.

    I had a 97 with 160k miles maybe 8 years ago in VA and had to sell it due to Heater core issues and emissions wouldnt pass due to check engine light. I had no money at the time and had no choice but to sell it off as-is I regret it ever since. Loved that car. I want to buy another one now but its so hard to find a decent one for a decent price.

    I have a 2000 expedition with the 5.4 Triton. Almost 241k miles and my fuel pump went last week. Car runs amazing and besides regular expected maintenance, I’ve done nothing to it and I’m gonna drive it till it blows up

      I would....There a nice ride and can tow with no issues.

    Well.... I have a 2000 5.4 expedition daily driver with 175k miles. Main problem i HAD was the air suspension. Swapped it with a Monroe conversion kit. Installed 4inch cold air intake. High flow throttle body spacer high performance plugs & coils. If the grounds wet all 4 tires will scratch. But of course you feel the torque & you know you probably shouldn't do it again😂😂 oh... 9 miles a gallon. Im not letting this monster go

    I have a 2000 4.6L that I bought new in 2000. Now has 339,000 miles. Enjoyed your video.

      I just found one with only 56,000 miles yesterday! So tempting to go and buy!!!~~

    • @79glastron
      @79glastron 5 років тому

      Nice. I would also have a hard time letting a like-new one with $56k go. I am going to buy another low mileage one once mine dies. The 4.6L is such a workhorse. I have towed many things with it over the years. How much do they want for the $56k one?

    Been looking at picking one of these up for an extra haul/towing vehicle. You can get one of these for 2-3k, great truck for the money. The 5.4l ones even got the durable 4r100 super duty transmission! Incredible value!

      Loved the video. I have the same vehicle, same year, same color, with 175k miles with original motor & tranny. What are your thoughts about adding a true dual exhaust for better acceleration? Thanks & long live the Expedition/Navigator!🇺🇸

    ..And if you call now we'll double the offer, just pay processing. Great review Nathan. Maybe you should work for the shopping channel. I have seen the holes that the spark plugs have popped out of. I think they did a recall to fix that...

    just bought a 99 from Virginia and I cant believe the condition of the body. Only has 126k on it and runs great. Sorry I bought it for a winter car. I live in western New York and this would of been rotted by now. Gonna try save it by rustproofing it.

    The 2v 5.4 is actually quite reliable. Up there with the 4.6
    Just be sure to change the spark plugs on time and you'll last upwards of 300k

    350 miles at 26 gals is 13.4 mpg thats if you run it completely dry of course usually dont so you are looking about 15 mpg not bad really.

    Breh the 4.6 triton just like the f150 and the same gas mileage as an f150 would almost use this as a work truck
