i kinda disagree, a lot of people put it on top of their lists. Personally, I extremely dislike this song, because I think its over-rated. I guess its because I see it too much, and I guess you don't. I respect your opinion.
watching this makes me inexplicably proud of someone I have no personal connection to (namely a certain Joey Richter, whose progression as a singer is just !!)
Fun fact: Britney Coleman (aka Bellatrix) is in the revival of Company of bway. She made it! (At curtain call, I saw someone who looked familiar. I looked in the playbill and low and behold it was a Starkid!)
Alice Beineke For me, it’ll be the only song that I’ll skip if I’m listening to holy musical Batman’s soundtrack, but only because it’s really not for me, but you might love it because opinions differ like crazy when it comes to starkid songs
It was only when it got to Just a Taste that I realized how much Rachael's voice has improved!! good for her!!! Also you're right, all Starkids, past and present, are perfect and pretty much gods in their own right
Okay but the best part from 'Guys like Potter' is hands down the line "so many assholes in this place, so many assholes in my face" I lose it everytime haha
Dylan and Meredith had such great duos in both Starship and Twisted, I was convinced THEY were the ship. I didn't realize she was with Brian until they got married. Lol
Ok so- I feel like Jeff’s best singing is in HMB, it’s in his natural range and he sounds really good. (tto also sounds good but I’m giving it to HMB just because he also acts pretty well in it) Even though people praise him for his top notes, he needs to work on them. MacNamara (sorry about spelling) is one of his best acting roles, he plays the character really well, it’s just not his strongest singing role.
First of all, I agree. Also, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals technically isn't a musical because the songs are diagetic (existing within the world, not just for the audience) and I feel like ANI technically could count as a ballet? I'm not entirely sure on that, I'm not familiar with ballet, but it clearly puts focus on interpretive dance, and as such it's at least doing more than Tarzan did. But it's true, it's not as memorable as a result, because it feels less personal when a disembodied voice sings over it as opposed to the characters themselves.
Honestly, I have such extreme arachnophobia that if I just see that clip really quickly I have really bad hallucinations for like an hour, which sucks because Jeff is amazing and I think the whole thing is hilarious (I’ve seen it one (1) time) but I just have to skip it. Also, I’m glad removing it helped for you too!
@@LyleTheWaterAquaticGuy Damn, i thought i had extreme arachnophobia with having panic attacks if i see one, but holy shit you have it so much worse and i am so sorry!
@@LyleTheWaterAquaticGuy I have extreme arachnophobia and it didn't trigger mine, but thank you anyways! I guess everybody has different things that trigger theirs
Jaime's acting is the best (which actually makes it more uncomfortable than it already is, at least for me), the Father is best for feeling like a fitting (almost) end to the story, Corey and Lauren sound the best
I just remember watching all of these musicals in order and realizing these are all iconic and i dont know what i love more. Ha funny, no Robert is amazing and I love him too much, but i love starkid sooooo freaking much its all iconic
Ron: Am i the one who steals the show? No i'm not! Everyone: *strongly disagrees* Love this. Most of the moments are iconic. My favorite moment from "Harry Freaking Potter" is either when Harry says this phrase (this moment always gets me, it's so damn cool) or when Jaime starts to sing as Rita Skeeter. She's amazing, love this woman.
One of my favorite lines in a very potter senior year is “I hope you find that swimming pool” when Harry’s talking to his kid, Albus Scarfy Potter, which I also love the name
13:00 "The answer is clear, that ugly old vizir" is literally one of my favorite bits of Starkid. Robert really went off ALSO: you're kind and that's enough / You're a diamond in the rough
Hear me out, TGWDLM because it's the only one that made me sob out crying. It's super funny and I love all the songs. The side story between Bill and Alice is what makes me cry, and how Paul tried to convince him that it wasn't his daughter. Bill still really tried to save her. It breaks my heart. Emma is such a mood aswell and she could step on me and I'd thank her. Jon's acting during Let it Out is just like Jeff's as Aladdin, but Jon is singing which is harder. Also, SHOW STOPPIN NUMBER!!!!!!! ROBBBBBBBBBB!!! Ok back to what I was saying, Charlotte's character is so sad. She loves her husband and he is cheating on her. It hurts my heart. Also I love the fact that there isn't a happy ending.
A few *personal* opinions: 1 “ive been living a lie ever since I made my poor mommy die” is the BEST PART OF A STARKIF SONG F I G H T M E 2 Twisted needs to be on broadway 3 Linda Monroe, Junior, and Voldemort are my favorite villains up top 4 TGWDLM and AVPSY are the best musicals 5 Fuck it every Starkid musical needs to be on broadway
bold of you to not put the entirety of every song
Oh this is just a shorter way to make this video bc it would be hours long :)
i've send so many people say they hate "these voices" and like??? how??? it's amazing, that moment you used is like chills every time
Genuinely one of my favorite songs
hannah same I love it
I really don’t understand that. “These voices” is one of my favourite songs!!
For reall, I don't get it
I think it’s such a chilling song
Lauren Lopez screaming during inevitable is some of the best acting I’ve ever seen
“WHY ARE YOU CLAPPING!?!”

Hearing all of the twisted songs right after eachother, actual chills

please do a compilation of starkid roasting modern life/america/politics (american way, america's great again, made in america, etc)
A. Bookmonkey i feel like all of show me your hands would be in it lol. it does kinda mention the flaws in the cop system.
i know the first 2 are both led by jeff...
Definitely would include Show Me Your Hands like “cause were cops, yeah we’re cops, and we make SENSE”
bro ur a genius, yes
Also wizard of the year because of Daren in Glee
watching this just makes me wish jeff would just write in his natural range cause it's so good
Omg so true
Agreed! I really love his voice when it’s in his range!
God I would sign the HELL out of that petition.
his falsetto is tghdlm reallys fits the songs tho
There are a few instances where I like his falsetto. Like in Feast or Famine. But yeah, prefer the in range.
It's simple: I see avpm:Quirell, I like.
Andrea Pšeničková I have never related to anything more in my life
OMG YES SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES “EVERYTHING ENDS,” I hate how under appreciated the song is
IKR!!!! How is that song so underrated, it's literally so beautiful

I can’t believe you got rid of Mariah’s “We’ll make it double for YOU!”
IT'S SO GOOD
thats what i was thinking too! i was so ready it felt like when a sneeze goes away
The only thing I disagree with is the fact that “Join Us (and Die)” wasn’t Jaime’s ICONIC note at the start 👌
ITS TIMMEEEE TO DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
watching this makes me inexplicably proud of someone I have no personal connection to (namely a certain Joey Richter, whose progression as a singer is just !!)

Also AJ (Joey’s heart in mamd) was in the broadway tour of Book of Mormon!!
Thank you! Robin Sucks was my favorite from HMB for so long. I don't understand why people hate it.
Right??? It’s one of my faves too, I just don’t get what the problem with it is.
MOOD !!!
I’m so sorry but Robin sucks and and Senior Year are the only two starkid songs that I can’t stand😂
Joel Atkin I’m not being rude I genuinely am new to hmb I haven’t seen it yet what’s so bad about that song
Alice Beineke For me, it’ll be the only song that I’ll skip if I’m listening to holy musical Batman’s soundtrack, but only because it’s really not for me, but you might love it because opinions differ like crazy when it comes to starkid songs
I love that we share the same favourite moment of “Show Me Your Hands”. And yes. Jon is perfect.
Oof you just put the entirety of Let Him Come, I highkey thought you’d cut it off a line before it ended
Actually I didn’t include the whole thing cause I cut off the beginning.

Ani feels like the Disney movie Tarzan, it's really weird and out of place, because the characters aren't singing
yea and i can’t remember a single song from it
It’s not bad but in my opinion it’s the worst starkid musical
First of all, I agree. Also, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals technically isn't a musical because the songs are diagetic (existing within the world, not just for the audience) and I feel like ANI technically could count as a ballet?
