Underrated channel. Love the commentary. Glad UA-cam recommended me your video of that monster this year. Congrats on that! Cheers from Fredericksburg VA ❤
Excellent video and one hell of an adventure!!! Now this is deer hunting to me. People have gone to the fields and box blinds because it's easier. I applaud your mindset and determination to HUNT the deer. The camping out is just a bonus.
@@OdoyleRules24 that is very true. Everytime I go high up in the mountain it seems to be perfect then the wind will just start whipping. I’ve got spots I avoid because of how windy it’ll be😂
This is awesome. I was stationed in Virginia for 6 years. I miss that place, my wife and i talked about moving back. I currently live in southwest Washington. We hunt like this in the central Washington oak covered mountains
It’s a beautiful part of the country, I love hunting in the mountains. I went to Montana and Wyoming turkey hunting, but we never got up in the mountains. It was a cool experience and beautiful place, but the big mountains are different. Thanks for watching!
West Virginia born and raised, there is nothing that compares to hunting in the Appalachian mountains. I would not trade it for anything. Beautiful place to be chasing whitetail. This is a great video, well done. Congrats.
Beautiful buck feel like i saw it on social media last year. I hunt the National Forest in Highland County. Just old enough to have witnessed the hey days of the early 90s, lucky enough to have been taught well.
It sure was a big one. I’m glad I didn’t try to squeeze a shot and hit him bad. It made me feel a lot better after I knew he wasn’t out of our lives forever. It was alright though, this year I got about a 150” 9 point. Be sure to check that video out too!
The last 2 videos I’ve watched I just kept thinking this looks very familiar. Been hunting Giles Co national forest on and off since I started hunting…it’s a challenging place but potential is always there for a giant.
Great storytelling, really enjoyed the video and description of the shot. That’s a hammer, congratulations.
Just watched 2 videos. New favorite deer channel. Subscribed! From Richmond, Va area.
Excellent! Hooked on your videos now. Subscribed. Thanks again from Blue Ridge VA

Buck of a lifetime. If I was the other guy I would be happy for you but a lot sick to my stomach. Wow what a buck!

I remember this being posted on va whitetails when you killed it
That’s awesome! I’m in central VA, and hunt some national Forrest. Area looks like some beautiful country! You know what county?
We were in Giles county there. I bounce around hunting a few different counties in va mostly tazewell, but it’s pretty much all private ground.
@@feelthespiritofthewild awesome! I’m around Augusta, rockingham, Nelson area!

@@codyjackson1413 it can be super challenging, but there’s some monsters in there!
Monster 8 point, they don’t get much bigger in the mountain la
Hoping to get another this year, but deer that big are hard to come by.
It’s obviously lastyear
I'm from Virginia in our national forest hunting land is closed this year cannot hunt fish or camp
Not all national forest is closed, just a few WMAs and districts.
