They really went all-out with the marketing for this film. The only other movie I can think of that had as much advertising as this one is Spider-Man 3.
I think Legendary did a better job making a real Godzilla film, but I’d still love to bring Zilla home. Shame this toyline killed Trendmasters. I would love to see what toys they could make now, especially during 2005-2009, where everyone was cramming animatronics into their toys.
@@ChainsawManDude97 Please for the love of god tell me how the hell that looks like something called Godzilla. The design was horrible and not Godzillalike at all
I admit the movie I enjoyed as a guilty pleasure wasn't great but I love these commercials, I might think about getting myself one of the Zilla figures on eBay soon if I get more eBay gift cards now thar I still have the Zilla hand puppet my Dad before he passed gave to me when I was a kid. 10:02 Favorite part XD
I get it, but when I see a guy or girl describe a Godzilla toy like it's a piece of art, the natural question that comes to mind is, "Why am I even watching this?"
I just realized the Doritos commercial was probably the closest we got to this version of Godzilla having atomic breath.

Also BATMAN in 1989. Believe me, I know. 🦇😉👍
"This movie is already a classic." LOL! 😂
Well, most please remembers it so
And a guilty pleasure
6:50 The thought of Zilla literally diving into the ocean to escape Doritos spice has me laughing uncontrollably.
Or the Hudson River, in this case.

I grew up with these advertisements and it was great
We had this toy
It may be terrible as a Godzilla film but it had great marketing.
@yearonerelicsit was really the design of him😂
@@Darkmage50the design isn’t terrible. Although making him thinner made him look weaker but seriously, the 1998 designs wasn’t terrible.

@@Darkmage50 Please. The film failed for more reason than just the design.
@@ChainsawManDude97 the design played a big role in the failure
Marketing does matter
7:00 the closest g98 had to an atomic breath.
Sad thing is these commercials are more enjoyable than the actual movie
The film wasn't that all bad, I kinda liked it as a Guilty Pleasure to ⌚.
I remember there being a zilla jr add where this little boy gets bullied by three high school girls and then the middle girl gets eaten by zilla jr💀
I miss the Taco Bell Chihuahua 😢
Cool intro
