- The Season 4 Roadmap for Modern Warfare III is here so today, I wanted to go over all of the playable content relating to Multiplayer, including new Maps, Modes, Weapons, Streaks, Perks, and more! What are your thoughts on Season 4 of MWIII based on what we've seen so far?

Aftermarket idea: Take the Tempus Torrent from Marksman Rifles and make it full auto converting it into the CM901 from the original MW3. (Please sledgehammer read this)

@@maou5025 Not really close aesthetically or functionality wise. Tempus Torrent is closer (infact, almost identical and even the reload animations are super similar to the CM901)
It would be cool to see a br conversion that doesn’t just make it full auto also

Zombies has had a bug where all the zombies just stop attacking you for a minute sometimes since mid season and they still haven't fixed it

I’m honestly surprised since it seems most people like groundwar.
They released a new operation in season 2. It’s pretty solid. I wish they added more like in ww2. It’s genuinely a fun mode but it is what it is. However, the rest of the content for multiplayer looks solid!
Yeah tbh it is bizarre. Especially considering we have one A tier map, one B or C tier, and one D tier map. The lineup isn't super strong, so idk why they wouldn't try to either add maps from the MWII ground war or just cut another part from Urzikstan into the rotation.
I've been saying this too. Gunfight got 1 Map in Season 1, that's kinda wild. War Mode got 1 Map in Season 2, that's kinda wild too, but Ground War has gotten 0 NEW Maps?! Why? There are so many Warzone Maps they could cut sections out of for another Ground War Map, I don't get it.
@@constantinovmaxim1249 Well, those are War Mode Maps, Culteredtuna is talking about Ground War Maps; there's been no new Ground War Maps whatsoever for some reason.
If they aren't going to do regular specialist, they could instead add a vest that lets you earn other vests.
That sounds broken but fun at the same time
Imagine you just pull out a new vest every few kills and your player model has 8 different vests stacked on top of each other.

Lol, I'm glad the IMS makes a return. I believe it was the most hated thing in CoD Ghosts.
Also, the Kar98k returning is based, but what about the FN FAL? I loved that Battle rifle in MW 2019.

I hope that the IMS would've just replace the cluster mine, because those smaller cluster mines are just annoying to deal with (even though they are selling a skin for the cluster mine, I think that they can just enlarge the skin model and apply it on the IMS).
SHG hates single shot BRs now. Every new BR they release is basically a harder hitting AR, and the MWII BRs still perform mediocre at best.
@@Cosm1cCream True. The difference is that we could deal with the annoyance of the IMS from Ghosts and MW3 and the IMS a force to be reckoned with.
The IMS would kill you and you wouldn't even realize it until it was too late. As soon as you heard an IMS in Ghosts and MW3, you knew death was inevitable.
In MWII, the clustermine is just a straight up nuisance. You get close enough to one of the mines and they explode, eating a big ass chunk of your health. This pretty much paints you as an easy kill since all someone has to do is shoot you once or twice and you end up dead.
The clusermine is also a one and done whereas the IMS could be used until it was destroyed, so you could easily rack up kills with it. And destroying an IMS was not exactly an easy thing to do.

The reaper/lodestar is my favorite streak of all time and it’s been forever since they brought it back for some reason. Very excited about that
The floorplan of "Tokyo" looks like the layout of that Godzilla, miniature-city map, "Mayhem" from Vanguard.

Tokyo’s lighting reminds me of Miami from Cold War.
So excited for the loopable streak mode with the return of the DNA bomb. Non-stop advanced UAV, Swarm, DNA bomb, and then an MGB called in at the end will be so much fun! This looks VERY promising for me. Gonna be a really good couple weeks, Xdefiant release, and then Season 4!

The new streaks look really cool! Glad to see the reaper drone back. Also nice AW callback with the Dna bomb. Shame the new vest kinda sucks though. Hardline that works on assists, but have to sacrifice boots!?! Imo, they should've made it so you get full score with killstreaks if I have to sacrifice ninja for it
What modes do you play? On Small Maps Moshpit you can make that work

Sort of. The difference is the recoil is essentially zero. The only smg where running it stock less barely affects recoil. So imagine being able to full auto with no stock (having crazy movement and handling) and being a full auto Lazer beam.
shout out to sledgehammer for the amount of content they give us MP guys. The aftermarket parts is also one of the best additions they've ever made to cod, It gives me a reason to hop on for at least a couple of hours a week whereas with the past probably 4 or 5 games I'd grind at the beginning of the season and then wouldn't play until the mid-season update or sometimes not until the next season. We better appreciate it while we can because I honestly don't think we as MP fans will ever get another cod that gives us this much content.
The RGL is about to be the 9th and possibly best counter to riot shields if it has thermites. I'm all for it.
The fact that they haven't added a single new Ground War map since launch makes me wonder if this game is going to permanently be stuck at 3 GW maps.
You and I both. I don't know why they don't want to add in atleast some of the MWII GW maps to the pool.
That kastov amp sounds like the aek-971 or ak107 system, which if you find videos of it firing it literally doesn't move & will be an issue if they don't balance it right but I could care less fav gun in past Battlefields.
Would be fun if it had the AEK rate of fire too.

Yes maybe it will be an “heavy conversion” and destroy the handling speeds or something so it’s more like an LMG with an ARs mag size

We can only blame Treyarch for the lack of Zombies, but damn War needs some more love.
uhh I think you should blame Activision and Sledgehammer really. They're the ones who kept egging Treyarch to make Zombies modes for their games when they should have been hard at work on their BO6
Honestly it's very rare nowadays for me to get excited about something for cod but honestly? These conversion kits seem like they'll be really fun. I'm especially looking forward to the basilisk conversion kit because I absolutely love the basilisk and the tyr, easily my favorite guns.
Also it's nice to see that we're finally getting a spas 12 again after cold war, it's imo such an iconic shotgun and I hope maybe it gets a conversion kit to allow it to be pump action/semi auto depending on which it releases as given it can do such irl. (Admitidly though this is just because I love the feel of pump actions in video games and want better ones than what we have now or atleast more options)
Reaper from MW3 OG was my favorite streak of all-time. I used to regularly hit 9-12 kills on that thing. So fun
LOL. Eliminate vertical recoil. I imagined for a second that it would have inverted recoil. So instead of up, it'd either bounce left and right or completely go off to one side.
There’s a barrel that does that irl that goes on the same gun ingame. It’s possible.
As usual, the aftermarket parts are what's interesting to me. Seems like the ones for the renetti and basilisk turn them into an M9 and R8, respectively.
I love calling in MGB when its like 24 vs 233 in hardpoint and we still wain cuz mgb! Love this
Not sure if you see it, they added more ammo types for the snipers they cannot be unlocked but you can see what the do and stats

Gotta love Jason Statham's Cranked movie and how cod ghosts first started it for the game. The headshot only was a mode modifier for the very limited and constricted mode for the Syphon Filter 2 and 3 for the PS1. You could set the game to where either you and or your opponent can only damage if not instakill them via headshots only.
I´m honestly very happy with what SHG is doing content wise this year! excited for the DNA BOMB and the new SMG!
That compression plate gear with the tactical vest will be an amazing combo. Fast regen, double tacticle, and can have trophy, ninja, and ghost... seems a little OP
What i love to see is a map filter sort off. Not like you can choose specific maps. But a variant of it. Like the filters will be small or medium sized maps and having those variant revamped maps on or off. Because personally i really dislike those variant revamped overgrown or apocalyptic vibe maps
Good season for MP content. New streaks, reaper! New DNA BOMB!, hardline vest looks awesome until you pointed out no boots so I guess it won't be used unfortunately, quick fix gear is great, obsidian grind, maps look interesting. Exited for that smg, hoping it's not just another super fast fire rate one 900+ rpm though. Been waiting for a more versatile mid range accurate smg, like lc10 from CW. Its looking good, gonna go back and forth between mw3 and xdefiant. I'm looking forward to both games.

@@Predash051 he's right though, there's no rhyme or reason as to who's on what team. you used to be able to react to skins when they made sense in the faction, but even in the boys crossover several heroes who ARE on the same team in the show are on opposite sides.

I really do like all the attention 6v6 has been getting this year, so that's all good to see. Three brand new maps and four new killstreaks is a good amount of stuff. A little bummed there's still nothing for Ground War/Invasion, like even bringing over the MW2 GW maps would have gone a long way.
Also, just looking at the silhouettes for that "secret collaboration" part of the road map has me wondering if it's going to be G.I. Joe.
Imagine my excitement when I saw a 6v6 map in PARIS and then the huge disappointment of not being Resistance from the OG MW3.
They absolutely HATE MW3 2011. Where's MW19 Hardhat?
I don't think its because they hate mw3, its probably because this game is supposed to align more with mw2 for multiplayer. Resistance and hardhat from 2019 would be great though. Theres literately a hardhat map area on the west side of the warzone/ zombies map, so they can easily make it into a multiplayer map.
@@dgaming239 With the amount of random content, even Advance Warfare content and Dome being in the game, not adding more MW3 maps is just plain wasted potential (Also the fact this game is called MWIII). But those 2 returning streaks from MW3 at least makes this a little better
What do you mean? They remastered resistance twice already? Infinite warfare and WW2. That’s far from hating the map, it’s one of the few maps in CoD that has been remastered twice

Im super hyped for a lot lf this stuff. The aftermarket kits especially sound up my alley: I've wanted a single shot renetti, a full auto Lachmann Shroud, and the RGL-80, the Kastov 762, and basilisk kit all sound super dope. The killstreaks also sound really fun, I like that we're not getting some basic boring streaks or ones to be "competitive" but just really fun streaks to throw down. It does suck though zombies don't get anything. Even though I don't play it, it's still wrong to leave them out. Either way, though other than that, I think this season sounds really solid. Let's just hope it doesn't start up like season 3 reloaded

I just want the Grau to come back, I love the older SIG AR's. One thing I have noticed as well with S3R is the Snake Shot for the Basilisk isnt functioning in matches. It works in the firing range but not when in a match.

I'd be cool if they were to update dmz to where you can do all weapon attachments and also combine different rounds in your mag ie 4 rounds of armor the rest hallow or something like that just to add more depth more reward for dmz and make it feel and play different or something 🤷🏻♂️ like dayz/ tarkov style where you have to also loot for ammo so then you load your mags (before going in raid(mabey even lock this ability behind some missions or hvt))
Also I liked how in ghost you could lean around a corner by aiming I also loved the interactive environment like I forget the name of the map but you could blow up the gas station or blow a hole in the wall to get a new angle and it was so fun when you and your buddies were pinned down downstairs and you slapped that c4 on the wall and blew it was wild because the other guy would be thrown off and is now getting shot at from a new angle that originally wasn't even a threat. It really allowed you to throw enemies off guard to gain a upper hand
I'm looking forward to the new guns and kits at the very least. Some of the new streaks/perks look usable too.
I'm a little bit worried about the kar98k and the DNA bomb, but we'll have to wait and see more details.

High alert has to be the most annoying perk in CoD history. Please no. Especially with a high health game, it becomes infinitely more effective

@@emwolsNah, not even close. There are perks that are far more annoying such as stationary ghost/assassin, persistence/requistions, serpentine, mw2 commando, mw2 danger close, stopping power, juggernaut, and even dead silence/ninja to an extent.

I'm so happy we're getting the Kar98, even as a kbam user I'm so keen for it. Though we need some new pistols too, though at last we have a couple of conversions so we sought of are.
Doesn't make sense to me why Ground War, Gunfight, and War have been getting no content. I'm not even a big fan of the modes, but they just need pieces of other maps cut up, idk how that's difficult to throw in each season.
Even if they would have added just one GW/Invasion map a season, we'd be at a good total number now. I don't get it.
looks cool im excited but I just wish we would get more maps at the start of the season. Tokyo and Paris look really good though but I would really like to see the Hardhat map in the game.

Why is losing boots such a great deal to people? Covert Sneakers only really works if you're playing on super sweaty lobbies (which means you're sweaty yourself lmfao), on normal lobbies the amount of chaos in the background is enough to make steps basically impossible to hear, at worst you're missing out on Tactical Boots for that extra Sliding Speed, but even that's something I can live without, specially if it means getting Killstreaks more consistently.
I was playing last night and I got the most mixed lobbies I have ever gotten since launch. I think they finally got scared since xdefiant is launching without SBMM
I wanted a vest like this, but the fact it doesn’t support covert sneakers is absolutely disappointing and infuriating. To play now, you’re basically required to use covert sneakers or lose every gunfight and match.
I wonder if they'll keep the IMS trick where you could prone into it to save your life...
Less maps are fine tbh since they're Medium sized as opposed to all the Sardine-can maps we got last season
I don’t know why they make the streaks require so many kills to get now, in a game with SBMM that makes it even harder. The original IMS was 5 kills, the original Reaper was 9 kills. And that was with SBMM. They’re hardly worth even trying for.
Nice so the kar98k is gonna be like the longbow with the conversion kit. Small maps r gonna be an absolute nightmare to play in again
The kastov kit is literally a titanfall flatline and i'm not complaining lol.
Ngl, I need some OG MW3 remakes.. bootleg, bakaara, resistance, seatown, village, and mission all need a remake.
The RGL kit is gonna be so nice because the thermite projectile should counter riot shields since they never buffed the Crossbow

Im surprised you haven't covered this topic at ALL ( How to get penetration kills video / wall bangs doesn't count. )
We are arguing over if guns like the PKM has better penetration ( i.e can penetrate multiple walls/penetrate different types of material) than the bruen lmg.
I really need to know and I really want you to cover this if you can or is possible.

Rotating streak playlist?! I hope that one does well because having that be a normal thing like it was before the COD killer, MW2019, it make the game a night and day better experience! Remember the last time we had it with BO4 and then rotating Snipers Nest, Thresher and Strike team?! That was so fun when you could get those over and over again!

The streak changes are being applied to all playlists at certain stages, and the playlist will be marked if it does
Glad all maps are medium size that means they all can go to the 10v10 12v12 playlists which is all i play which is a dub im also happy that the ww2 weapon links were wrong tired of stg44 and kar jus want modern weapons in a modern game 😊

Getting new maps is always a plus, the rest of the stuff I could care less.

They are responsible for COD WW2, Vanguard and MW3 Campaign (by far the worst in the series)
They intentionally release battlepass guns/aftermarket kits overpowered. Also randomly and constantly nerf several non battlepass weapons into the ground.
The operator skins and takedowns are cringey af.
The gun and attachment list is ridiculously over saturated.
Basically zero conversations on doing something about SBMM.
They don't deserve an applause quit schilling for them.

The Jak Revenger kit alone pisses me off to no end because there is absolutely no way SHG thought this was balanced and they refuse to nerf it because whales who spend way too much money on this game like that gun.
You are allowed to like this game because it's COD which is basically impossible to screw up considering the decades of fine tuning the base mechanics/gunplay but DO NOT applause them! We deserve better.

You are in the minority in thinking anything about WW2 was good.
So you think it's a good thing the Jak Revenger kit has you running around almost as fast as knifers, has a 60 bullet clip, insane ttk, 180ms ads time and one of the best ranges out all SMGs in the game? Or that the MORS basically outclasses every other sniper in the game and is used by basically everyone in S&D?
Ace just did a vid on gun and attachment bloat that does a way better job than I ever could on why it's a problem. Watch that. It's a smaller problem compared to some of the other stuff I mentioned but it's still a problem nonetheless.
SBMM isn't their problem specifically but that doesn't mean we should let ANY of the developers or Activision themselves off the hook for it.
If i had 3 wishes i would:
-remove dead silence
-make MW2 weapons viable and competing to mw3 weapons
-make a setting where you can turn of all skins
I hope they add more interesting ammo types for the RGL, like rubber bullets or timed grenades. Having just explosive, thermite, and gas grenades is pretty boring.
Single fire renetti (beretta M92) I’m ok with that now just need another John McLane skin for full die hard nostalgia 🤣

Hi Ace, would you be able to ask Activision why Shoothouse isn't available in the custom game mode? My mates and I play a lot of custom tournaments, and I can't see any reason why they'd not include it and this might be an oversight, as maps like Shipment are in there? Would really appreciate it as I know you have a voice within the CoD community. Love your videos by the way - your load outs and advice have enabled me to become a better player.

Would of been cool if they added looping to the new vest. Dna bomb is a new moab which is betrer imo
Fax. After mw3(original), Ive stopped liking the MGB. Bring back looping nukes. They're so much better. But Im glad we got options now. It should be this way permanently, imo.

It's a shame that they haven't even switched up the loadout-rotation for gunfight since it launched. It's one of my favourite modes but it's getting kinda boring when you have the same loadouts for half a year
