Why are the traditional box style outdoor strobe/sirens sometimes installed with the strobe facing the street (the opening facing up into the eave) and other times they are installed with the strobe facing the ground (the opening facing the wall)? Which is correct? Attached to the wall or attached to the eave?
When I purchased my Bosch solution 2000 I chose the large box, siren, and top hat, but when I tested the lodge box, it sounded different than the video but I still like the sound
Hi, I have one of the big box siren/light things attached to the big old house I recently bought. The alarm system doesn't seem to be operational and there doesn't seem to be any point in rectifying this as I have foster kittens running around everywhere. Can I remove this box myself or does it require an electrician? It's in the way where it is and I can't find any manuals or videos regarding installation anywhere.
It is likely that you can, you just need a ladder. There is a chance that the system may malfunction and sirens go off, possibly even police called. But it should be safe.
We have available shipping all Australia wide and NZ. Unfortunately, we don't have a technician contact in NZ but I recomend seach it in google maybe you could find some one with Bosch experience installation.

Hello is there a way to put you bosch outdoor siren louder?
Not really. You can add two sirens in parallel, or get a louder 12v siren.
my siren stopped being load, it stilll flashes and makes light noise like a silent alarm
