I infuse my own oils with herbs. I make three different combinations. The oils I use are extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, Jamaican black castro oil, and hemp seed oil. I just learned how to make karkar oil, the original oil they use in Chad, which consists of sesame seed oil and cow fat. I will be making it this week to try. My hair likes all of those oils with my infusions, so I rotate the use of each.
By the way, I use Chebe just like they do in Chad every 3 to 5 days. I wear my protective style under my wigs. I plan to do this for about a year to see how long my hair will grow.

You should try a different method if you're only retaining 2 inches in a 6 month period. Naturally it's supposed to be 1-2 inches a month WITHOUT chebe etc... Try the egg mask or the avacodo mask many other mask ... That will help you on your journey

I used Chebe in my hair for a month and I had really noticeable growth. I don't know how many inches but my puff was a lot bigger than before I tried it. I plan on keeping it up through the winter to increase my hang time for summer wash n go's.
Chebe powder is a really great mix for your hair but it does tend to irritate the scalp/skin. It helps if you strain the powder into your oil first, then there won't be powder falling out of your hair when it dries up and the mix won't be itcy too. Great video! Peace & light 🌅

I love Chebe! I don’t mind the cigarette smell either because of how the powder benefits my hair. I keep Chebe in my head. The last time I took my braids out, reapplied Chebe and braided my braids up again, I had 2 strands of dead hair from my whole head 😳 I made mine into a hair butter. I used Shea, mango and cocoa butter plus a lot of oils I like plus vanilla and lemon essential oil to improve the smell

@@MotiA. I never tried the powder + leave in conditions...I mixed it with oil for my hair type into a past put a couple drops essential oil. Not to waste the rest product of the product after sifting I fill an 8oz bottles with oil for when I wear protective styles daily.

I was using chebe powder for 2 months. Within a week I was seeing results in length and texture, but I couldn’t stick to it too messy for me. I would leave it on for a couple hours and wash it out that night still amazing results that way, but the mixture would be in my hair, down my neck it’s like it never fully washed off until a few more washes.
I was told that the Chad women don't wash their hair due to drought conditions, they just keep applying the chebe mixture every few days. However, they don't apply it to the front of their hair because a big forehead is beautiful in their culture.

Thanks for doing this I'm currently on a chebe-powder journey and I have retained alot of length about 1-2 inches i been using since September. I do reapplocations every 7-9 days. I def see the results with less shedding and and my curls are lower in certain areas

I was trying to understand why she used leave in conditioner & not plain old conditioner. Should the leave in conditioner be added after the mask? I'm not sure.
Just wanted to share this information I learned the hard way. Next time you use a powder which can be very difficult to remove from type 4 hair get a small bowl which you can fix your head into inside the sink. I you fill the bowl of water and immerse you head you while using tge water pressure which sprays from the faucet you will find that the herbs will come out easier

The chebe is to be kept away from the scalp for that reason. It has zero to offer the scalp. All it does is protect the actual hair from breakage.

You look beautiful sister, I'm from Chad and chébé is amazing and the real truth about those women in the village, they don't wash their hair. They just take the product out and do the hair again. If you can do that, you will double your hair. Me I can't. 😘

Thanks for doing this I'm currently on a chebe-powder journey and I have retained alot of length about 1-2 inches i been using since September. I do reapplocations every 7-9 days. I def see the results with less shedding and and my curls are lower in certain areas
do you leave the chebe paste in your hair for that period of time like Mercy said? and reapply? that's a long time to keep this in but I'm willing to try it. I have low porosity hopefully it won't mess up my hair
@@kinglouie708 I don't know if she's going to respond but I'm sure she leaves chebe in her hair and reapplys every 7 days just like the women in Chad . I reapply every 3 days and wash out every two weeks . Chebe won't damage your hair I have low porosity hair as well

Just wanted to share this information I learned the hard way. Next time you use a powder which can be very difficult to remove from type 4 hair get a small bowl which you can fix your head into inside the sink.
I you fill the bowl of water and immerse you head you while using tge water pressure which sprays from the faucet you will find that the herbs will come out easier

I Used That Chebe For My Extremely Long Hair For My Hair Growth
A lot of Sudanese people do this treatment too, it's very overrated. I personally never tried it, but my mom did, she says it's good. I use Karkar oil. It's a very common oil in Sudan. I love it so much. Hope I will try chebe powder one day if I go to Sudan or Chad

How long did it take for your hair to get to this length in total?
I experience extreme hair growth with Chebe, but if I don’t balance it or overuse it I get a lot of shedding. But Chebe will definitely get you inches

The women in chad do not wash their hair. They just reapply every 5 days. Also they don’t add leaven in conditioners.

1) after you apply the paste add more dry chebe before and after the protective style
2) the longer you leave the chebe mix in, the easier it is to wash out.
