- Well! I've been so curious about African Hair Care. I've been so intrigued by how Chebe Powder for dry 4c natural hair would react. I bought some Chebe Powder from Chad and tried it in Fluffnugget. Enjoy!

I'm from Southern Chad, and we don't use chebe for the most part. The majority of hair type in the south will be 4c, whereas in the north where the women in your images are from the hair type is more like a 4a. In the south you'll find that hair threading is the most common method for stretching hair. The ladies in the north are Muslim and Arab-mixed for the most part and will have their hair covered regardless. I hope this helps a bit.

I hope you see this: the key to Ayurvedic mixtures is marshmallow root powder! it turns the soupy liquid to a creamy pudding/ custard texture so it doesn't drip as much

Chebe is a hit here in Uganda. But because of the mess associated with the chebe powder, most of our hair care producers who deal in chebe powder have ventured into chebe butter. This is a mix of chebe powder and other butters, I believe it's shea butter.

I have 4c hair. Started using Chebe. My hair grew more than 1 inch in a month. Lessen mess by using less Chebe and add leave in condition to your oil. It really works. Makes hair super soft. Little breakage.
