I agree to your opinion. It' always a kind of magic to hear his voice and what I love too are the wonderful stories the songs are telling. Listening to Justins songs makes every day a bit better. 🧚🕺
“Forever Autumn” is not just a beautiful song, it is an incredible poetic expression as well. For me, the song has always tugged at my heart strings. I think great art not only appeals to your mind, but it also touches your heart and your soul too. “Forever Autumn”, the song, does that for me. It makes me think; it makes me feel and empathize with his plaintive grief and loss; it makes me visualize the setting he so profoundly paints with his images, metaphors, similes, and alliterative sounds; and the song makes me reflect about my own forever autumns. Very few (I can count them on one hand) songs are capable of eliciting this response from me. “Forever Autumn” is one of a select few. Justin Hayward has written a lot of incredible songs, but few, if any, are better, deeper, and more mature than “Forever Autumn”. Thank you to Justin and to all. I wish you well!
Forever Autumn" is a song written by Jeff Wayne, Gary Osborne and Paul Vigrass. The original melody was written by Wayne in 1969 as a jingle for a Lego commercial. Vigrass and Osborne, the performers of the original jingle, added lyrics to the song and recorded it for inclusion on their 1972 album Queues.

It's amazing how Justin Hayward's voice has never changed throughout his life of singing. He still sounds like he's 30 something years old. What a career he's had and still going strong.
Every time I listen to Justin or the Moody Blues, it takes me back to a time when life was so beautiful and easy. It makes me a little sad that time has passed sooo quickly but I still love their songs and I will take them all with me when I leave this place. THANK YOU Justin for everything.
I struggle to comprehend this fine musician has been a part of my life for over fifty years now. I recall the very first listen to the Moody Blues in 1967 when I was just turned 13 and have shared the journey ever since...so many memories of tentative slow dances with Nights in White Satin to bouncing off the wall with Question....and so many more wonderful songs over the years. What joy he and the rest of the band have given over the years. Thank you Justin
Justin wears well! Loved Moody Blues. He's the main reason I bought original War of the Worlds album. Love Sci- fi wasn't sure how it would translate to music. Turned out really well, some brilliant artists. Bought the 25th anniversary cd because record player was shot. Have seen new show on tv, good but still compare it with original.
He has adapted certain notes ,phrases to suit the changes over time, all the while keeping the melodies and lyrics in mind, delivering each song with the respect it deserves, and the respect he has for his audience, so refreshing.
This was the song dedicated to a good friend who passed away back in 2014 at his funeral. I always shed a tear or two for him when I hear “cause you’re not here” for he was a huge fan of “War of the Worlds” and of course the Moody Blues. Thanks for sharing this.

Probably the greatest rock and crossover vocalist of his time. My father called rock ‘n’ roll jungle music, until he heard the Moody Blues and now he loves a wide range of rock music.
Justin. Hands down my absolute favorite musican singer of all time. Not far behind you in age, and being a musician myself, I thank you for all the years and memories. If that’s not enough, I even named my one son Justin. Best to you and yours always. John from Utah.

Such a lovely song … and the flute really does make the song. The thing that frustrates me with this song is the shortened single version I always felt it was lacking because I got to hear the WOTW version first with that the beautiful orchestral sections in so whenever I heard it on the radio I hoped that someone would dare to play the full album version
What a performance. This song is so emotive, it stirs so many emotions. People we have lost and our own mortality. I can only listen to it occasionally. Yet I still live it, it's a masterpiece.

Over 40 years ago I was in love with a young man. We sadly parted but every time I hear this song it brings back all of the magical times we shared the thought hits like a rock and a feather at the same time.
Nice to see he can still sing like this. We saw him do this as part of a moody blues show in NYC in the 90s at Christmas time at the small theater within Madison Square Garden. He did a version of this w two guys on keyboard and him, not a dry eye in the house.
This is the first song, the first music played on a radio station in New York city following the events of 9/11. I was on the phone with a prominent literary agent the night before who was in midtown Manhattan. Calling from Washington DC, I had a strong foreboding that neither city would escape a tragic event the next day, and there were many who had premonitions about one or both. This tune, as much as I love it, breaks my heart whenever I hear it, to this very day. They say that art decorates space, but that music decorates time. My memory tied to this song changed forever on 9/11...
A song from my childhood. I can still remember first hearing this on the radio, it's one of those songs that stays with you forever. Still amazing, and Justin sounds brilliant!
