One of my all- time fave songs! The Moody Blues were my favorite group in the seventies and their concert was the only concert I ever went to. I believe it was in Portland, Maine in 1982. I love Justin Hayward. Days Of Future Past is my favorite album. Nights In White Satin, I think, is the best song ever by anyone. Great song.
I remember buying the WOTWs album back in the late 70's and became obsessed with it. My friends and I would drive out to an empty field late at night and lay on our backs and listen to the whole 2 cassette musical and just stare at the stars. Forever Autumn was my favorite and still is.
That sounds wonderful. I’m young enough to not have been aware of the album when I had friends who might do that sort of thing. Now that I’ve discovered the album, in my 40s, friends are busy with careers and children and it’s much harder to have time to just lay in a field listening to an album. Still love it and listen to it a lot. The picture you paint is just so lovely
I only bought those albums because a lot of great rock musicians I love were involved. but the albums (I say albums as I bought the version with German narration and also with English narration) and later the highlights.I was very surprised about it in the end in a very good way. His voice is still outstanding also his guitar playing
Cause you're not here, my life will be Forever Autumn, cause you're not here...such unforgetable words of this iconic Jeff Wayne song that Justin made his own 💕
I was lucky enough to have tickets for the war of the worlds at Newcastle arena U.K. earlier this year in May , I was mesmerised by all of it my friend and I have both been listening to the album for more years than I care to remember & worked my way through several copies of the double album on vinyl and didn’t think I’d ever have the privilege of listen to it live , it was absolutely superb 😀
just realised that's Mike Dawes on the Guitar on his left as well, this is one of my favourite songs of all time , thanks for this , it was fantastic , great to see Justin Heywood still performing as well 👍
Just came back from Justin's concert in Salt Lake City, Utah. He and the group were all amazing! Thanks for sharing this - he told the same story tonight in SLC, Utah. He's a great entertainer.
I was there and my husband and I loved his concert! His stories were very interesting and it was so fun to hear him talk to us. When the MB band performed they didn't talk much to us. I love Justin and John and appreciate their differences. This is so beautiful!
He’s told this story so many times but it doesn’t matter cause he’s just so damned likeable. I love so much of his solo stuff. One of my faves right now is “Broken Dream”. His voice carries so much emotion. JH forever !
I saw this and wondered could Justin Hayward still have THE VOICE in 22? I'm about to listen and find out.... Not quite, but it was a joy to listen to him sing it almost as well at 75 years of age.
I love this song but also the songs he did with the mighty Moody Blues. he is one of the biggest influence to my life as his songs are so timeless and great and unforgotten
No one's voice lasts forever, and Justin's vocals have had an incredible run! I listened to his 1978 recording, and in 2017. His voice was still strong! But 5 years later, time is catching up. He's not immortal after all. But that voice is still better than most of his rocker contemporaries. Like Ian Anderson. OMG! So sad, that he still performs!
He's such a fantastic guitar player. I'm a big fan of melodic players...Steve Hackett in particular. Also the playing of Robert Fripp and Brian May. Among them, Justin is my favorite...as far as I'm concerned, he invented the "singing guitar".

Jeff Wayne was a genius giving this opportunity to Justin Hayward - All these years later and it still makes me feel warm inside❤❤❤
No musician has captured my emotions like Mr. Harward has.
Nice to see that Justin still has a beautiful voice , plus he always comes across as a really nice guy .
when Justin sings
i hear my heart within his voice
75 years old and still perfect!!

@@samwarner2668 I'm 60 years old now and I still listen to WOTW at least once a month.
I play that album every few years and like you was obsessed with it when it came out. Still obsessed with it every time I play it.
Love this!🎵🎶🎤🎧💕☝☕🍩💯😎😊💗
Amazing sounding still. Justin is the artist I would most like to meet of any i can think of. So many great songs he has sang.
Wonderful, Justin! YOU'RE still here! I'm so grateful
I'm 32 years old, my dad raised me on music like this. Justin Hayward is hamds down one of the most underrated guitarists and singers ever.
..and I reckon he could do a decent stand up comedy bit!
Still as powerful as ever! Thank you Justin.
I've been looking for this for years. I'm amazed to hear how great Justin Hayworth still sounds. I've been singing this by memory for decades...
Hayward.
Beautiful! No-one sings this like Justin 😁
40 years ago i was 13 and i listened this master piece for the first time, i was a lucky kid.
His stories never grow old. His voice ía still perfect. Karmen's flute part is beautiful, along with guitars and keyboard.
The most beautiful song, moody blues is a band for all every generation. God bless and thank you
Cause you're not here, my life will be Forever Autumn, cause you're not here...such unforgetable words of this iconic Jeff Wayne song that Justin made his own 💕
So Lovely, he is Justin after all ♡♡♡
His voice is a gift. He still sounds like he did 40 years ago.
Amazing Justin Hayward
I got to see him in Phoenix. The first show of the tour that wasn’t postponed. I felt just blessed to hear him sing this. God bless him!
Wow , he still sounds great on this classic, i`ve always liked his music.

It IS my all time favorite song.
Balm for the soul, seeing and hearing Justin, even in this sad and pining song, which I’ve always loved, make no mistake. Made my evening 🥰
Thanks for the upload. Sure would like to see Justin - just one more time, before one of us goes. (Same birthdays) Still sings great !

Plus his band ,especially the flute player are really good .
Nice clear recording too . Thank you for putting this up on UA-cam
Karmen's flute brings tears to my eyes/

How does one compete with perfection?
