What I love about volt, besides his speed and versatility, is that you're really hard to kill if you continue moving while attacking, which is essentially the funniest way to play the game

Excal can blind Phorid with diminishing returns per cast, removing the threat of the barrage temporarily, but if combined with Exalted Blade will delete it instantly due to the damage bonus. Don't get me wrong, Electric Shield is absolutely fantastic, especially for defence scenarios, but in this one specific moment that particular statement got stretched a little thin. More generally speaking, Mag is also the only starter that can restore her shield gate at will with a single cast. One could make the argument that it's better to not NEED to shield gate, and a second general statement could be made that maybe this is a bit late-game of a mechanic to be pushing newbies to learn to lean on, but this remains the case all the same.
While I didn't know one was there either, I honestly thought he was going to point out the locker against the wall that you can't actually interact with. It's always bothered me, and they have removed an unusable locker before, on a different tileset near extraction that you couldn't actually interact with.
This so nostalgic to me, when I started when we all started as a lonely tenno exploring the star chart and fighting bosses who were considered difficult just because we were underpowered
I vividly remember the once awake defense mission being one of the first ones I legit failed back in the day. No exalted blade on excalibur back then, and very little recovery so the toxic damage that was inevitably getting past my shields wore me down over the course of the mission. Was satisfying to finish though. Much fun memories to be had in the future with Dan I'm sure, and grats on the Nyx 3/3

My clan has found some use for Ammo Drum, When we're giving eachother stuff like prime parts or syndicate weapons, the ammo drum becomes a kind of token that the recipient can put in the trade slot There's no benefit or economy behind it. it's just funny "oh you're giving me all these prime parts that have a combined value of 150p?? why thank you, have an ammo drum"
DE really needs to sort out early game Endo collection. Either give a better farm accessible on Mars at the latest, give big Endo rewards in the junctions, or just give some maxed out commonly used mods (just not the Primed versions) as junction rewards. Realising you have to get so much further into the game just to have your build feel somewhat complete is a massive quit moment for so many new players. Looking back, I honestly don't know how I managed to tough it out - it was such a bad experience.
As much as a skilled player might scoff at the idea of dying a few times to a boss, we all had to go through that slow progress of power. An almost documentary-level experience certainly shows the process that is usually hidden.
Honestly kind of silly to me that you get the Stahlta blueprint from the Jackal, considering that it's a MR10 gun and the other parts are farmed from the Granum Void, including one from the highest level. Like, when you get that blueprint on your first Jackal kill, odds are you won't be able to make and use that gun for another 30 hours or so.
It's one of those things that with a bit more consideration you'd get a message *telling* you that, like "This blueprint is strange, it requires components that are unfamiliar to me. Keep a hold of it for now, perhaps in the future we will find what you need to finish it. - Lotus"

Keep a hold of it for now, perhaps you will find what you need to complete it later" and then maybe another line about rhino? "You've found a warframe component blueprint. "

13:00 I made the joke repeatedly when I first started the game (6 years or so ago now) that "Swords don't run out of bullets" and that Excalibur's 4 was the "best gun in my arsenal". It's still a valid humorous argument today especially when early game guns and low investment mods might lead to poor ammo efficiency for any mission that's slightly higher level than is intended for you (AKA every single mission my friends where taxing me into for credits, endo, relics, or frame/weapon farming.
There are one or two defence missions that give some explanation why staying around longer helps more, the one that comes to mind is Uranus where you're actively screwing with Regor's lab the longer you stay around.

Most of the rest of the early required building doesn’t require neat at many hard o get components. Just a friendly heads up to keep in mind. Loving the series. Planning on updating element knowledge after an 8 year gameplay hiatus. So many new games DE has gotten into this game.

Not *entirely* correct that mag and excal don't get a volt-like shield - higasa now exists and it's available very early on, and it's only a MR2 requirement. Considering Higasa Serration only has 5 ranks for a whooping +450% damage, it's also arguably the new best earlygame gun you can get if you're willing to max it out.
Surely your time would have been better spent farming Rhino than the parts for Nyx. I cannot imagine any situation in which Nyx would be more valuable than Rhino at any stage of the game.
Hello to the clearly new Tenno who seems oddly well informed about some aspects of the game. You sure got your movement down quickly. "Beware the creature's spine strike. Those razor sharp quills will rip your warframe apart!" If you stand close to Phorid, it will not use it's Spine Strike. The Roar/Scream also does very small damage but effects a wide area. Good luck in your journey and hope you enjoy the game, its a lot to get through.

Kind of wish Volt’s subsume ability was shield rather than shock because that shield comes in clutch in so many different situations
