  • This is my Japanese farm homestay experience! I spent the night in an old Japanese farmhouse, and woke up at 4am to harvest soybeans out in the fields! Farmstays are always such a cool experience, recommend you try one if you have the chance🌾

Its sad that in Australia consumers think a punnet of strawberries that is only harvested 3 months in the year by hand should only cost $2. It shouldnt be cheap. This is one of the best Japan blogs I have seen in a very long time. I had never thought about doing this but it is now on my "must do" list.
    Rabid thumbs up

I love spending time with locals and learning new things. I was lucky enough to visit Totsukawa and stay at a really lovely ryokan where the host taught us how to make Konjac and a different type of sushi where a whole leaf is used. After we took the konjac and sushi to a locals chicken farm where he helped us pick shitake and cook them to go with our meal. It was an amazing experience.

What an amazing video! I've started watching a bunch of your videos since you appeared in a few of the Abroad videos. It's nice to see these smaller towns highlighted that may not get much exposure in mainstream media. I'll be adding this town to my list of places to visit. Cheers!

You're telling you paid someone to have them put you to work. This is brilliant! Also, Hiro-san English was very well.
