Japan is beautiful year round but northern Japan in the winter is extraordinarily beautiful
Winter is always such a melancholic time for me, especially these days. Last year at around this time I was living in Japan and staying in Tokyo during this exact period of time and felt a bit sad about not being able to spend time with family...yet here I am a year later watching this video, feeling sad because I miss being in Japan during this time lol.
I have no idea why, maybe it's because everything in Japan seems to slow down in December even more than over here where I live now. Not gonna lie, the snowy mountains, the music choice and overall vibes of this video made me tear up a bit haha. Thank you for the vlogmas and I hope you have a great Christmas!

I love Oyakodon! I think I saw it first in one of Chris's videos and I found a recipe online for it. It's super easy to make and really good! I always add a lot of veggies to it too

The stamp and postage stamp is a cool thing. That has to make an awesome collectible. Going around to different town and citys to get different ones.

Ohh, the 'Pull' kanji is easy to recognize: The first part of the upper left character looks like a 'P', the bottom half like the letter 'U', but sideways and the right vertical stroke is the letter 'L'

I had Akita prefecture as homework essay. It is nice to see places, food and Akita dogs brought to life! I remember that Chris told about those chicken foods in one of his earlier videos and there was some kind of background story related to chicken food.
