Linda Eder: Man of LaMancha. GOLD. In Vienna. What I did for Love. Don't Rain on My Parade. Her technique and talent is exceptional and the quality of her voice is gorgeous. ✨
I'm so glad you reacted to this. I was going to suggest it as a nice Christmas song from Linda. As I said before, I've seen her in concert at least 20 times and met her and spoke with her on a couple of occasions. She's so down to earth. I used to volunteer at a local theater venue that alternated between shows and concerts and she came quite a few times. She literally drove herself from her home in Westchester County, New York to where I live north of Boston. She would leave the venue and blend in with all the other cars exiting the parking lot. No driver for her. She even joked about driving there using the directions from those car mounted GPS systems that were out in the early days. One year , I bought CDs from every artist who was going to perform concerts at the theater that year and asked if they would kindly autograph them to raise money for the Salvation Army at Christmas. Not every artist obliged me, but Linda is one who did. Not only did she sign the CD, she also wrote me a lovely note saying that she was happy to be able to help in anyway that she could. A real class act! She also owns horses and events with them herself. She even takes care of the barn herself and cleans up after her horses. So laid-back and a phenomenal talent as well. FYI, Linda was married to Frank Wildhorn and they have a son together. Frank always called her his muse and wrote specifically for her. Her son is also a performer now.
I love her pure tone and vocal control. I was going to suggest this one last week because it's a beautiful Christmas song, but I saw you closed the request line. If you want to hear her do something more up tempo, l would suggest her live version of "Do you hear what I hear?" It's the best rendition I've heard of this song, with an orchestra, choir, rhythms, electric guitars, and of course Linda's soaring vocals.
I will call you Saint Saeed. Thanks for reacting to my suggestion. I have seen Linda in concert a few times and her voice is explosive. Btw Frank Wildhorn(her ex husband) composed and produced some of her albums. Fun fact Linda has a UA-cam channel where she chats, shows footage of her latest concert and footage of her other passion which is riding horses.

Linda Edder is amazing. Pure vocals.
My first listen of Linda Eder. What a beautiful voice!!
This song was more of a nostalgic song than a Christmas song. I still very much enjoyed it!
