I have used Store brough fondant, you can use fondant mixed with little Tylose powder or Gum paste too works well.
Edible Glue Recipe:
Mix 1/4 tsp of tylose to
2 Tbsp of water and mix well.
Let it rest overnight and then use
to get lump free edible Glue

You can use a plastic wine glass & paint it with gold acrylic colour, Its much better that way.
