For anyone wondering - you do not have to board the ships, its enough to destroy and loot them, I specifically tested this just now and got the achievement. Playing on Remastered, XSX. Your method of spawning convoya works perfectly, thank you very much ❤
Guy from the future trying to do this, keep fast traveling between *Fort Louis* , and the Northeast cave *Fogo* , there's usually a Fleet just to the left (according to the map, not your POV) right between *Fogo* and *Fort Baie Rouge* , this will make things easier.

Here's another way to know if you've got an evil convoying well not only because if you get close enough it'll appear on your map but also if a frigate is carrying money because no frigates carry money except for of course the naval convoys now yes if you do salvage it will give you money but obviously when it tells you all the things you'll get it'll have money at the bottom and that's another way to know if it's a navel convoy

If you go to a tavern you can pay the bartender for information. You might only be able to do it once per tavern (havent verified that yet), but just hit up every tavern and theyll reveal a location for a convoy (maybe supply camps too)
just found your guide and its very helpful! also if you can't tell if the sails are different use your spyglass to identify ships and if you see a $2750 on it then that's the ship you want.
Thank you very much I went to all the different pubs in the game buying information for £200 but none gave me a ship location so I then started sailing everywhere in river valley and North Atlantic after 3 hours I gave up and this vid got it done in 20 mins lol
I played on the Remastered version for ps4. 12/29/2020 It will work but may take a few times more than twice, could take up to 10-15 but this location is the fastest. But do not have a wanted/bounty on your head. Will not work if you do.
It is the fastest method, but as I mentioned in the video and as you said, you can't have a bounty AND sometimes waiting for them to sing a shanty song will help it quicker (at least on the ps3 version). Curious to see if that also works on the Remastered.
Yup it works excellently. I ended up teleporting to anti costi and I got two convoys spawn in. But then it was confusing because of the wanted level. Like I had to reset and make sure not to destroy every ship that wanted to fight to keep the wanted level down. Just got my platinum. Much love Assassin San! Senpai
Hello i too play the ps3 version of ac rogue. What i did was do two things fast travel to fort louis or fast travel to anticosti.f for my experience anticosti spawned more of the convoy ship thank you for the guide much appreciate it

@@ASSASSINASAN for sure! That's awesome! Truth is the games with the more complete story and fun mechanic like the sea faring does it for me. Unity has the power for huge crowds . Its alot more detailed but I think it's why it seemed to lack a bit compared to the epic titles like ac4 and Rogue. And yeah, just finished odyssey a few weeks back. And I agree. I literally have 200 hours played. Its the pinnacle of video game design. I have Valhalla still in cellophane and I'm reluctant to open it.
Royal ships spawn even if you have bounty on your head. I had level 3 bounty, and the Royal ship spawned on every 3-4 times i fastraveled to Fort Louis
I’m not sure if I did it right, I followed your instructions to the letter & I’ve already intercepted several convoys through the campaign but the achievement *STILL HASN’T POPPED YET!* WTF am I doing wrong?! Does this convoy tracking counter reset everytime the game’s turned off & I have to start over?!
I’m on PS3, post game and fast traveled to For Louis at least 30 times and see nothing but gunboats, schooners, and brigs. I have no bounty either for the last hour and half... I also downloaded the most recent update for the game...
Recent update I just found a Frigate, but my spyglass didn’t mark it so I had to sail towards it and halfway there the game decided to mark it as a convoy
@@ASSASSINASAN it might be, but then I came across a Frigate with a black flag about 3 minutes after posting this. And found that I DO have better luck finding them after the sailors begin singing about once every 3/5 times. Only trouble is is that the cowboy (forgot his name) whenever he talks about the wind/rough waters he would cancel the me. Singing. In any case I have encountered 7 convoy ships since after my posting. Yet the spyglass still refuses to mark the target when near Fort Louis. Which I now see as a little annoyance, but nothing more.

Another method is to go taverns in North Atlantic, ask the bartender for the information (cost like £200) and he will tell you where is the convoy What’s your opinion on assassins creed rouge?
another think u can do it's go to a tavern and speak to the barman and he in exchange for 200 give u the exact location of the convoy, i hope this helps if anyone it's trying yo do this achievement/trpohy

It's been a while since I made this video but from what I remember you can prob just sink and loot instead of boarding. Boarding just gives more resources. Good luck with the plat!

As taxing as some of the challenges are in this (not like AC III) I really wished they made a sequel to this or another Rogue like game. It made the game that much more awesome. An Ex-Assassin being targeted by old colleagues and knowing more about the templars made me really wanting to join their cause more...
A way to board a high level ship is just to... 1. Go along side it 2. Get a tiny bit in front of it 3. Jump or rope swing onto the ship 4. Kill everyone on it 5. Shoot it once with any ship weapon, then you can board it. Hope you find this useful. 👍

That may be true but sometimes clearing a bounty can help its likelihood of spawning.

Put the cheat immortal on and do the legendary battle then turn it off and the trophy will pop
