I find places like this that have minimal main courses but then bulk out the side orders quite interesting. They are basically pushing you towards creating your own burger by using a basic main and adding a load of sides. This is a very expensive way of buying a burger. The 8.5/10 rating was more than fair. Thanks for the review.

I’ve been here a few times before heading back up north on the train. I love craft beer and dirty burgers, this place doesn’t disappoint. It’s messy but lovely, also a few beers in the fridges to take away for the trip home. 👍🏻🍻

That looks like a place I've actually been to, way back in 2014. Think it was called something else then, maybe a Kiwi connection, but specialised in beers and burgers.
Heard really good things about this place, and your meal looked lovely- I don't drink beer apart though but did look nice and fresh/crisp! Will def try out this plac this year at some point 👍🏻 I don't like salt on my chips, so when I go there will ask for no salt! Another enjoyable vide Gary as usual 😀

When it comes to Burgers I made a big mistake ... I perfected the way I cook a burger at home, going all the way with growing my own tomatoes and baking my own bun and it was perfect. Had it a couple of times but where can you go from there? Now I don't like Burgers anywhere, wherever I go because at most they will come second best.
This looks like a great place. The food looks incredible, but the beer menu is amazing, 20 different beers, I love places that have a big board of different draft beers.
you have to walk up a hill from the station to get there, which will be relevant to some burger fans LOL I have seen the place many times, will check it out
Simple review from me ....... I would absolutely kill for that burger and coupled with chips and a decent gravy means perfect bliss. Also the added bonus of different beers for some serious slurping is a bonus. I'm going for a 9.
Next time you go to Birmingham try out Burger and Sauce, their burgers are top quality and very very reasonable £4.50 gets you a really good single Pattie burger and it’s only an extra £1.50 for a double.
Can't see me paying £11 for a burger, but I don't live in London, did look nice though! But for that price it would of been good to see real cheese slices, and the lettuce and tomato, I do like gherkins but that amount I would of thought tasted very vinegary? Probably the rich gravy hid that! It is nice to see how the other half live!
@@GaryEats I only think it will be a visit as my fiancee lives o the coast in Cullercoats and we've been together for 14 years now. I love it up here the beer is under £2 a pint and it's a well kept secret.

Burger looks lovely, but 5 guys and their range of ‘free’ toppings is hard to beat for a takeaway option. I don’t know about anyone else, but I think brioche is not right for a burger. Too sweet, almost a pudding.
@@GaryEats I started visiting Rox burger when they started off in Lewisham. Then they moved to deptford.. and now they're based in Greenwich. Rox burger is my favourite. I order just the burger usually
Another restaurant you might want to try = The Square,Portuguese restaurant, Henley on Thames. Take a look at the menu . We went there last year two days running .👍😍🍺🍷
