- I'm visiting Exmouth Market today and fancied a burger on my travels! Managed to find Black Bear Burger, decided to try their brisket spring rolls as well... very good decision.
You need to give this place a go!
Netflix, give this man a show! Send him around the world to satiate his palate and thus satiating my binging needs. Love the channel Gary.

Black Bear Burger is one of my favourite burger places in London.. And it's because of beef brisket burger. It's one of the capitals, if not the UKs, best burgers. The beef brisket turns an already lovely burger into something utterly special.. I also think the beef brisket wontons are really delicious as well.

oh man i almost cried when i saw that brisket shredded, over here across the pond . we shred the pull pork and slice the brisket and its all smoked meat. but i have to say looks good i have to check it out one day when i go to the UK. like your videos keep up the good work.

I went here when I was last in London Gary and it was fantastic! I also had the brisket spring rolls and with the garlic mayo they were amazing! Really great service and knowledgeable staff too!

My word Gary, the spring rolls & burger looked sensational and it obviously tasted great too judging by your comments and perfect score. London does get expensive for food but when you get that quality, the price seems almost irrelevant. I mist go and wipe the drool from my mouth after watching that ! Awesome review once again.

It seems i have become a binge watcher Gary, your videos are addictive 😮but none the worse for that😊 A simple burger, great. And it looked wery tasty. Was the bun toasted? didn't look like it.The starter,to be honest i didn't hear the crunch,could just be my hearing or the microphone 😮 and,again to be honest i would prefer a fully wrapped spring roll. Not far from Exmouth Market you find Leather Lane. Street food heaven 😊check it out Allan&Family

Definitely a nice crunch to the starter but I sometimes turn down the volume as I'm not sure how many people would like to listen to the sound of me eating! Will check out Leather Lane soon. Looks incredible Gary! Love the fresh pickles with the wonton and the burger is cooked to perfection. I think you mean 12 hour cooked for the brisket rather than aged though :)

i do these at home making my own Burgers and then smoking beef short ribs and using the meat to top the burger with cheese and burger sauce. its a firm favorite with me and the wife. 🍔🍔🍔 another great review, thank you!

That looked delicious Gary, many thanks for the review. You are SO lucky been in London and having all these different places to review. Normally I’m not really a burger person, too messy to eat and often just too much food , but I love any kind of pulled meat so that burger looked brilliant. Brisket is one of the most tasty cuts if cooked very long. If I was nearer I would defo be there! 👍

Food looked good. But why does no one toast the bun?
Never can understand the fascination that people all over the world have with sesame seeds on buns. They don't add any significant flavor to the burger and at most add some texture. Here in the US sesame seeds are connected to MacDonalds hamburgers and the accompanying buns. Personally I prefer a toasted Brioche bun with a burger with a melted slice of American cheese (nothing melts better) possibly a slice of raw onion and maybe a piece or two of bacon. I do like a brioche bun with a cheeseburger made with blue cheese or aged cheddar. Adds a bit of an extra to the already strong flavor and kind of balances it.

UK doesn't have bears, strictly speaking, but we have giant badgers which are very similar to bears except they rarely stand on two legs. You don't want to get on the wrong side of one of those!

You can get a burger medium rare in Britain? In Canada it is next to impossible and the few places which allow it, you have to sign a waiver of risk to the restaurant.

i am going to try this place BBB in the near future. The ice cream on the end of video is a no no in this freezing weather, i will get bed bound if i have anything cold like that now. Gary, have you been to the Ace Cafe London and tried their breakfast? Its on the north circular 406, in between Hanger Lane and Ikea Wembley.

@@GaryEats it used to be a Biker's cafe but they have car and various other events too, like military vehicles. The parking for cars is plentiful and the breakfast menu is good too, needless to say prices have gone up since covid. Hope you do a video there. Mark Willsmore is the owner and he s usually there

I'm not a burger fan but i would definitely try that. I have to disagree on the music but i can imagine how it could be a great vibe in the evening. I would want the music to be a little lower and a little more soothing, or none at all. It's just a personal preference when I'm eating.

Brisket needs to be slow cooked in a smoker for 12 hours to come out tender and juicy as it's a tough cut of beef .

The burger looked horrible tbh and I notice all the beef burgers come with cheese. Why do they do that. A lot of people don't like it. It's everywhere in burger places. Ill go to gbk where it's an option.
