Haters will pick on your shirts being worn too much. It’s tough to have a public opinion because opinions are like dirty laundry... you can’t get through life with out piles of them. Keep being the same Mr. Morgan you have been since the beginning. Thanks for being honest and open about things as such! Cheers!

I bought my RK25 2 years ago after looking at almost every brand , I wasnt motivated by cost just wanted what worked best for my needs , Built by TYM and has the Yanmar diesel was a huge plus and the warranty is on point as well , It also comes with back tires filled with beet juice tires and every add on comes standard !

I just went to RK for the first time today. They opened up a location in my town. I saw the tractors in the parking lot. I instantly regretted buying my JD 1025R last year.

I regretted buying my 1025r and not because of some cheap junk tractor. That's really what a 1025r is.

Found your videos looking for specific driveway maintenance and noticed your largest tractor looks alot like mine. I've had a TYM455 (Same as RK55) for 1.5 years and completely agree with your assessment. I routinely lift 1800# round bales and big oak logs with no counter weight other than the tire fluid with no problems. The hydrostat is a little finicky in subzero (F) temperatures, but that's true for everything. Extremely stable on hilly terrain as well. Thanks for your videos. Keep it up.

My name is Jerry Jones I live in upstate New York I bought an Rk 55 and really love that machine I did have a hydrostatic transmission problem royal king stood behind me and I am really horrible with names however the manager of Parkersburg West Virginia who is now in Pennsylvanian and Cody Lowe and several from the corporate division stood behind me and insured me that I did make the right choice by buying the Royal King 55.... I have the Royal King 55 with the backhoe attachment and I'm going to be honest with you it does not lack power and has served me very well I am glad that I purchased this because I believe it will last me my lifetime and I am still young... Thank you rural King

I think that folks just want to hear an honest review when watching a channel, regardless if it's positive or negative. As long as the reviewer is not scared to give a negative statement because It might make the provider of the equipment angry, then that's all any viewer can ask for. Complete honesty and discloser always gets the respect.

Mike, I have been a subscriber very early in your YT venture. Before you started with the RK deal I recognized and appreciated your skills and expertise at running power equipment from the excavators, all the tractors and their implements, and the smaller powered hand held equipment. I highly value any type of critique and comparisons of all them and recognize your honesty and integrity of your video productions. The haters are going to be arbitrary and negative just to be so. I agree with some of the other 'comments' that at the end of your (2) year trials they should give you the equipment and you can give us a more long term and continuous trial demos for all your subs.

Thanks for the video Mike, great job. I have the TYM 35 hp version of the RK37; same tractor, same engine, just governed down a little. Hydro transmission as well. I bought it after a year of driving and testing Kubota and Deere comparable models. The other two just could not match the features you get for the price. The TYM out the door from my dealer was $22k, whereas the other two were in the $30k range to match the TYM's standard features. I am truly impressed with this tractor and the lifting capacity is amazing! Just finished my 50 hour service and looking forward to many years of using my TYM well. Dealer coverage and parts availability are my only minor issues.
    Keep the videos coming!

I have been using old tractors for 40yrs, now have a MF50, buy I'm starting to research new tractors. No RKs in central MO yet. I've only been to one dealer so far. I looked at two tractors that were similar (tym t394 and ls xg3140) 18.5 k for either one. T394 might be same tractor as RK37? I was more impressed with the T394. I'm also considering a ls xr4140 for 22k. Thanks to Mike for these great videos.

    • @bobseward7530
      @bobseward7530 6 років тому +1

The T354, T394, and RK37 are essentially the same tractor. I also considered the T394, but it did not include the rear remotes and work light. Same engine in all; TYM essentially controls the HP output through the electronics. Dealer access was not as big a deal for me as I'm a decent mechanic and do my own work. My closest dealer is about 30 miles away. Before purchasing my TYM I used a 58 Ford 8N. Great old tractor, but just having power steering was worth the upgrade. ☺

You have a special situation there with having 3 different size tractors with loads of attachments. To me that means you are well equipped to make an honest assessment of their capabilities and shortcomings, how each works with the various attachments. If you are excited about the machine, then I agree, you should say it. I think too that if the tractors disappoint you, you should say that too.

I was in the process of buying the RK24 tractor... Nice machine, great warranty, then I asked the salesman at RK... If this breaks down where do I take it to get repaired ? He said, They have a 1-800 number to call and a technician will come to your home and repair it... AWESOME.... but hold on... I then asked.. What if it is something serious to where the technician can't repair it at my place or it is more than he can do ? His answer was.. You will need to bring it here and we will ship it out to the company. Okay no big deal then.. right ? WRONG. He then proceeded to tell me it will take 1-3 month to get repaired " general time frame ".... Does RK offer and replacement if this happens ? NO. I would buy one but that killed the deal... Has anyone else been told this ? New castle,pa

I just found out today through your videos that rural king is selling these tractors. That is awesome. These tractors are some of the best on the market. I researched for over a year before finally purchasing my TYM 354H. The lift capacity of this tractor far exceeds any other brand's 35 hp comparable tractor. I absolutely love my tractor, haven't had the first problem in the 2 years I've had it. I just happened across your video and recognized my tractor, but was surprised to see it branded 'rk'. The RKs are some nice tractors and i almost bought one before i bought my Massey .Now there are things that i like with all the different brands and things that i don't like with all the brands .I have found in my research before i bought a tractor ,that there is no perfect tractor and you have to go with the one that feels the best for you and your application .For me it was the Massey but that doesn't mean that it is any better than any other that i tried from the rk ,kubota deere it's just that the Massey suited me better but if i hadn't bought the Massey gc1720 i would've bought the RK24 as it really is a good tractor but as i said i like the Massey just alittle better and it does everything that i ask it to do so there you go .Thanks for sharing and for you thoughts on the tractors and by the way who cares what everyone else thinks if they don't like the RKs then let them go buy what they do like because it's a free country .

I'm a brand new tractor owner, bought a RK37s mostly on account of Mike's videos. I think I have a good tractor, but I am less than impressed with my dealer. I have been told many things which either were not true or turned out to not be true. I have taken to learning all I can about this tractor and I've even visited the (closer) TYM dealer to try to find a small part which I could NOT find ANYWHERE. (a grease zert that stripped when I tried to rotate it so I figured it would be a cheap/easy replacement... nope). Local dealer STILL doesn't know exactly what specs/size it is. I finally found one that sorta fit the threads and I've got it jammed on there "good enough". But I have learned about hydraulic hosing / connectors, fluids, where parts go and what they do... etc etc, and lotsa big heavy metal things (haha). Anyway... I am impressed with the RK37. I really like the larger tires which have probably saved my life already due to the numerous big holes hiding in the grass on my property. 4WD is a big plus, absolutely essential on my property. Lifting capacity of both the front and rear (3-pt) seems much larger than you might think just by looking at the tractor. I hope I never need any major maintenance on it (I'm trying to keep the hours low) because I'm sure it will be sick-expensive to get my tractor hauled to the dealer (1+ hr away) to have it repaired. I did my 50-hr maintenance (wow that was a painful learning experience...) but now that I've done all that, I feel okay about doing most all maintenance myself. I will probably hit 100 hrs with it this weekend (not supposed to rain for days, finally I can get some stuff done!). The RK37 is an awesome powerful machine and it frightens me to get on it.... probably good that way, at least until I really learn "all about tractors".

Once again another great video. If I could sit on an RK tractor and possibly try it out I would seriously consider it for my next tractor purchase. I've commented on some of your other videos, I own a John Deere 1025R that is pretty comparable to the RK24. Both seem to be pretty much equal (judging from your videos and my experience) and you're right, a sub-compact tractor gets a lot done.
I also use my friend's John Deere 3032E which is slightly less capable (judging from your videos) than the RK37 and doesn't have some of the features that you said come standard on the RK.
I really liked your videos showing some of the various attachments available and you really have me looking at a land plane.
The bottom line is this. These are tools that us "average joes" buy and use on our properties. I do think that most of the major manufacturers (John Deere, Kubota, RK, etc.) all have their pros and cons. It's just like any other tool that we might buy. With that being said, nobody can say brand X is better than brand Y without a real comparison, and even then people will disagree. In the end they are all good tools.

Just got a RK 55 tractor last week. Got the loader and backhoe. Also the forklift attachment. Should have done this years ago. Will never do without the forklift attachment again. Used the backhoe yesterday. Wow. I have a blue 33hp with a backhoe. I like that tractor very much. The backhoe not so much. Back to the RK, I think I made a good purchase. Like your honesty. I mirror your evaluation. Time will tell!

Well @Rural King. Let me tell you my experience buying a RK21. Over a month ago I went to the closest store to me in Clearfield PA. Looked at the tractors and decided I wanted a RK21. So I went inside to ask to see someone about them, and how long would it take to get a RK21 in. The guy said I will check with the TAC center and give you a call tomorrow. A week goes buy no phone call. So I made the 1 hour drive back over again. Asked to talk to Someone again and got the same guy. Said he would check again and let me know. AGAIN a week goes by no phone call. So now I make a 3rd trip over. Ask yet again to speak to someone about buying a RK21. This time I get a different person. Says he will check with the TAC center and call me tomorrow. Apologizes for the other guy. Said he quit and would take care of it. Yet AGAIN ANOTHER WEEK goes buy. So I make the 4th hour drive each way to see some one. This time I get the mechanic. I tell him I got pretty approved by Redstone last week and want to buy a RK21. He takes me in the back and is very helpful. He wants to make things right. Checks and sees that there are no loaders at the TAC center. By this time the manager of the store is back there. She to is very apologetic and wants to help me get the tractor I need. I want a RK21 with front loader, 54 inch deck and small pallet forks. The closest store that has one is a hour further away and the next closest one is even farther. Both have RK21s in stock with loaders. But they will have to order a deck. I say sure. Let's do it. They are gonna have one transferred to Clearfield and call me when it comes in. So today I get the call my tractor is in but no mower deck. But I can come pick it up, settle the financing so they can order the deck. But I can take the tractor today and come get the deck when it comes in. Perfect. So now I go rent a trailer and make the 5th 1 hour drive each way to pick it up. Found out the tractor came in from Illinois because none of the other stores would transfer a RK21 to Clearfield PA with a loader bucket. But no worries they got me one. So me and the same mechanic and manager go out front to finish up the financing so I can load it up and head home. Only to find out they can't finish the financing because they need a picture of the serial number on the deck. Which isn't there because they have to order it. But can't till the financing is done. What a catch 22. So they make some calls to other stores in PA that have the decks. One won't send it over because he THINKS he has 2 interested buyers. Well I am a buy right now... Then come to find out you get a free deck right now if you buy a RK21. So great problem solved. So let's get the financing done and I'll come back in a couple weeks when my deck comes in and pick it up. This all took about a hour. So now the manager is doing the financing and is having issues. I was qualified on 2/24/24 and was told it was good till 3/22/24. After that you will no longer be using Redstone. After the manager can't get the financing to go through they call Redstone to get a new link. Nothing... then calls again. Now is told that no. My financing expired after 15 days and I can't renew it. So now I am told to apply to your new financing partner Seattle Bank. And the website and app doesn't work. The manager calls them and NOBODY IS THERE....... So now I am good and mad buy now. Who would be after 5 trips, 10 hours of driving, wasted gas, wasted trailer rental, and 3 hours of my day wasted. ONLY TO BE GOING HOME WITH NO TRACTOR AGAIN....... So now I have to wait another week till I am off work on a Friday to make another trip. My 6th to go and try to apply to Seattle bank to get my tractor. Ya know because you can only apply in store and only during Seattle banks hours Monday thru Friday. I don't blame the manager or the mechanic at the store. Both are great and doing there best. But your financing is garbage. Never seen a place make it so hard to buy something.

I would really enjoy a video 10 years from now on these tractors. They're all brand new so of course everything's going to stay perfect on them right up to the point where their warranties run out.. Then the fun begins. Im a Bobcat guy myself I've had a S185 since 2005 and I have put minimal money into it other than general Maintenance and tires 3000 Hours on the meter. But my take on all the small tracker is they all have 1 of 3 diesel engine on the market in them. The true test to a tractor doesn't really begin until they're a least 8 years old. You're RK's are deathly nice looking machines And you will probly get years of satisfaction out of them.
So I wish you the best of luck with them and I enjoy your channel.

Love the Stihl saws! I've had an 026 since 95 and it still runs as good as the day I bought it even after I ran it over with a JD tractor. I never heard of the RK Tractors. Wow, I wish I could of fallen into a deal they offered you. I've been wanting a sub compact for years but time and funds never came together. Another great video!

Have you had to have your o26 worked on lately? I bought a 28 back around 1981. And I don't know how many cords of wood I've cut with that thing, and that includes cordwood and Hardwood for firewood. Last time I took it to the Stihl dealership to get a line on the gas tank fixed they told me that they did not make those parts for that model anymore. I'm going to have to do a little afro engineering to put my little Stihl back in order but till then I've got a real nice Husqvarna that I've never even put in a tree yet! Just wondering if you're having that same problem getting yours worked on?

    • @ranger6x660
      @ranger6x660 5 років тому

@@jackwatkins7382 yes about 3-4 years ago. My reason is probably different than yours. It quit and I couldn't get is started. The gas line was melted shut from ethanol gas. So while it was there I had the carb rebuilt and a new fuel line installed. Runs good as when it was new. I don't use anything but ethanol free gas now.

Hello and I would also like to thank you for your videos and your obvious honesty. I wish I had known about the Rural King tractors prior to 2016. My Kubota performs like it's suppose to, the regeneration/pollution control I put on the governments back but I learned you can just work through it keeping the rev's high. The RK's do seem to have more power! Thanks for sharing...

all power tool are the same --->> as long as they are working they are great.. service, part availibility, customer care, are what is most important. every company is gonna have a lemon in the bunch at some point. most ppl always want more even when the tractor does EXACTLY what its supposed to. look forward to hearing about service and parts and warrenty stuff that you may come across during your testing phase. good luck on being able to keep all 3 tractor when its over.

How are they on climbing steep dirt/grassy grades?
    4x4 or no?
Do they hold back going down steep grades?
How are the hoe attachment controls? How many functions can you do at one time? Say...big boom up,little boom in and curl the bucket at the same time or just two of the three?
Thanks for your time. Great video.

Welp, Mike. You have convinced me to purchase my first tractor. I have been all over you UA-cam videos for a week. I also have spoke to my local RK Tractor Pro and i can not find any reason to NOT purchase this thing. Im starting with the RK 24 with the Grapple and the backhoe. This is truly all I need for myself. My dad has many tractors as well as a hoss of a backhoe. Just sometimes you need something a little smaller to get the smaller work done easier. Also, trying to dig up a smaller stump would be easier with a gigantic backhoe with a massive bucket but....then you have to fill in the hole. Great videos and I have subscribed to your channel. Great work!!

We have 2 rural king stores within probably 50 miles of me. I am thinking about buying an RK tractor but I will probably keep the tractor for a long time. I just wander about parts availability in say 20 years. We have a larger john deere tractor that over 50 years old and runs like new. It wouldn't still be running though if parts were not available.

I'd hate to be in your shoes when you have to choose between the three Rk's lol. I'm guessing you'll want to keep the 24 and 37, they seem to fit well with your situation. The 55 is nice with the cab but you use the other two more. Me, I would see what kind of deal I could work out at the end for all three and go from there.
