- EPISODE #54! (After 1 weeks of sub zero & snow!)of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! It looks much more like a JUNK YARD, but we (kind of) think we know what we are doing, LOL! This is real world real estate investing and not some scripted flip or flop hype show! Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works. 81 degree change from last Tuesday for us in Elkhart Texas. from -5 degrees then to 76 degrees today. We love it now.

Too bad you do not have a big grinder to mulch up the trash so that you can get more in the dumpster. Glad to see you back at the junk yard clean up. It is 41 degrees up here. I am glad that most of your snow is gone so that you can work. 😀😀😀
Yeah that sure would be nice a huge grinder! but I've got a tractor guy coming with his rake to clean it up once we're all done looking forward to it take care

Nice vid, Kap. Won't be long before both mobile homes are gone. Had to laugh as Curtis' threw in a free extra tires with each purchase, then he threw tire in the boat. BTW he called that boat a beauty then "fling" (a rotted tire get's flung across the stern of boat). LMBO Enjoyed a full-watch 👍🏽🙂 Hope you get your new excavator.

I actually enjoy running a skid steer now. I ran a case skid steer for a long time getting rock out.

Amen kapper, I was with one of my older best buddies February 12th hanging out and messing with his car! Then February 14th he passed in his sleep! It's crazy man. Then the next day my neighbor passed! Live like your dieing!!!!

You are right, Kapper. I just turned 65 yesterday (the 23rd) and wonder how it's possible that I got this old? Now that I have my new hip, I'm ready to go and have some fun! Of course, the pandemic is putting a halt to the plans for now.

They've tried to pick it up a few times but we could not get it in our schedule because they always hit us at late notice. So it should be gone soon hopefully
M&T tell curtis the used tire side dealer the extra tires go with it as spares and load all the zombies pack their bags and luggage, its moving time.

You guys have come a long long way on cleaning that place. How will you clean all the little pieces of crap/trash? There's a ton of stuff buried right under the surface a couple inches.

Waiting on trucking company to come get the rv. Weather has been too bad for them to come get it
they've tried to pick up the motorhome a couple times but due to bad weather and scheduling it didn't work out just yet so that should be gone soon. No update on the backhoe

How did you break your ribs, I had 2 broken ribs from a horse years ago and couldn't move around for weeks.
He was getting out of his hot tub. The little minnow was cold.
I took a really nasty spell getting out of the hot tub cracked my ribs on one of the stairs I'm surprised I didn't crack more than just one though.

You could just do a timelapse/speed up with some royalty free music over top if you wanna work with the tunes... just search royalty free music, there are a few sites, obviosuly means more time editing unfortunately, but it should be good content
