- EPISODE #55! (BOBCAT T650 & E42 TAG TEAM!)of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! Join us here for this 55th episode and many more to come as we begin to tackle this investment property cleanup. Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works. I want you to know how much this Gr Granny loves your channel. Yours is the first one I click on every day to see what you and Curtis are up to.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback we really appreciate that! Glad you are on board with us! Have a good day
Good afternoon Mr Kapper and Curtis and the whole crew. Wow that baby just fired up so nicely. We still have great neighbors
wow! watch for the vultures on the roof spreading their wings! I DID NOT see this until after posting this video!! LOL, cool stuff!!
Bet Mrs Kapper is sad she missed seeing them!
4:33 I saw the birds.
I've been watching them myself lol, great video also 👍😊...
@@haroldphipps3457 I am!!! Well, not really 😄
did you get the new tool for the bobcat
Definitely the 6 million dollar man watching Sasquatch walk thru the woods LOL.
LOL I love it when he brings me a sausage omelette!
Kap and Curtis are Super Heroes of the year to the long suffering next door neighbor.
They probably let out a cheer when they see and hear your equipment start up.
Well definitely as far as cleanup goes you are right. However I'm sure the place was pretty quiet most of the time LOL
I don't think you have anything to worry about with YT picking up on that background music. Really enjoyed the excavator work, it shook me all night long. And I don't know if you picked that outfit or it was Mrs. Kapper, but you were a sharp dressed man.
Haha come man I always have my best duds on LOL and believe me, they have nailed me just for a radio playing in the background for like 4 seconds!
The vultures are enjoying the sun! More good progress! The soil is a little sticky now with the freeze/thaw.
Good bionic eye there Kapper spotting that lunch bag 😊
You know I've always got an eye for food! Especially free food LOL
Keeping at it one day at a time will accomplish all of the needed work to be done. Every video, one can see the difference.
You bet just a little bit at a time thank you
You will be able to let Curtis lose with the grapple he's getting really efficient with that machine. 👍👍👍 Curtis
No doubt on the job training :-) we got a lot of tag team projects lined up for this spring and summer
Take some dirt from the sides of the pond. You get your holes filled and a little bigger pond. That's a win win.
Good idea, I like it.
The copper in those old electric lines is high dollar right now. Curtis should strip it and sell it. Pay for some of that diesel.
I'm sure the boys will grab it if it's still good but I think they were worried about it being still connected but it should not be
🔥🔥🔥 ANOTHER FINE DAY MASTER KAPPER👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks man!
Take it easy fella , no need to hurt yourself. Looking good every time you vid.stay safe and healthy 🇬🇧
thanks man I laid in bed for a few days and that got boring really fast. I'm trying to take it easy just get out for an hour or two but even that feels good thanks
Glad you are back with the cleanup
Feels good to get back outside for a little while for sure thank you
I’m originally from the western part of the peoples Republic of New York and when I ,was in electrical contractor , remember getting a big excavator to dig an underground for me. It was in the middle of January and the bucket just kept bouncing off the ground the ground was frozen probably 3 foot down.Back then we didn’t have many mini excavators.
Ouch, with that kind of frost line you'd need a pretty big excavator and teeth on the bucket! I have dug with this one in like 8 to 10 inches of frozen ground, but don't think it would have broke through much more. Good luck in the people's republic!!!
@@kapperoutdoors I left there are 11 years ago for Texas. The excavator contractor said he had a frost ripper but we blew it off.
Curtis is getting good with grapple.
Glad to see u back in action after that accident 😃😂
Thank you it's good to get out even just for an hour or two
Looks good Kap,
Curtis is getting good
You got me from the answer Curtis bring lunch lol
Lol yep
You are very good with that excavator, looks like you ran one before.
Thanks man I think I've got like 600-700 ish hours now have a good day
To bad you can't burn your brush pile while it is cold out. It will be nice when you can put the final grade on the dirt and smooth it out. Looking good!!!!!😀😀😀😎
Yeah sure would be nice to burn but can't do it yet thanks
I see that tree where the two Case tractors and the tow truck were and think, WoW.
I know, I remember the first day when you couldn't even see them darn things they were buried in so much brush! Looking forward to finishing this one out thanks
Be glad that ground was still partially frozen. My ground got nasty soft and muddy soon as it thawed out. Cant get off the gravel with out getting stuck up.
Yeah it's going to be quite a mess today for sure now the ground is really good and nasty like you said anywhere off of the gravel ..
You should see about partnering up with ColeThe Cornstar in Iowa. He is trying to clean up on their farm. He has a huge audience.
I sure would consider it if they wanted to that would be fun, have a good one thanks
It looked like Curtis caught the grapple hoses and pulled them with the bucket. Check it out or you might need to re-attach them to the loader.
Ouch hopefully they're still good and intact I think they were still working when we quit but I'll definitely take a look at our bungee straps thanks
Looking good it’s come along way from what it was. Keep up the great work and thanks for the amazing content stay safe and take care. Can’t wait to see the next one and see what’s in store
Thanks man appreciate it have a good one
@@kapperoutdoors Your very welcome Kap and thank you too
edited 👍
How is the burn permit coming along ? you could dig a big pit to burn the brush , use some of that dirt to raise the path to the other trailer . just an idea
An update on today's new video. But can't burn just yet
Guess bureaucracy red tape doesn't act very quickly over there either regardin the no burn scenario 🤔🤬 good to see u gettin back at it 💪💪
Road turkeys standing guard, with some ZZ Top
Sounds like a pretty good combo!
Looking good buddy looks awesome bit mess with snow but awesome still
Thanks man yeah this is the worst time of the year now it's going to be really sloppy back there today but hopefully we can get some dirt work done. Have a good one
💯
11:02 "Trash cam"........
IDK-kapper that dirt is awful wet to be using for raising that low spot up? me thinks its gonna be late spring till its dry enough to use-good luck.
Well you might be right buddy we're going to find out soon. It's been drying out for 2 days now sunny and 60s but it still might be a little bit wet. If it's too wet then we'll call it in early thanks man
Sure, keep rubbing it in about the warm weather! LOL
Eek, sorry man! You can come and visit I'll let you run the tractor :-)
The excavator is going to need a bath now!
Yeah I'm kind of worried for today we're supposed to go over there again but it's going to be nasty
I could have sworn that you said that guy came back and got the Argosy motorhome??
No they wanted to come and get it two different times but between scheduling and the weather it did not happen but they were supposed to
Any updates on getting the EPA status changed?
An update coming on today's video, thanks.
What is the name of that song at 11:50 ?
Grapple hoses look a little tight.
Actually they're a little bit too long and loose we have them bungee to the frame so that's probably why it looks that way
You still under a no burn ban
Unfortunately yes
sorry dude ya had to get to jus kiddn
Oh you said vultures lol that how two 12 year olds spell birds or zombie predators haha
