  • EPISODE #35! (MINI EX SORTING & LOADING SCRAP STEEL) of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! It looks much more like a JUNK YARD, but we (kind of) think we know what we are doing, LOL! This is real world real estate investing and not some scripted flip or flop hype show! Join us here for this 35th episode and many more to come as we begin to tackle this investment property cleanup. Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works. Thanks for joining us, and please, if you enjoy this kind of content, Like and Share it for us to help us grow our audience and Kapper team here on our channel, we'd greatly appreciate that! Also consider subscribing to follow not only this property investment project, but all of our Kioti tractor projects, Bobcat mini excavator projects, Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer projects, our Illinois and Kentucky land management projects, food plots, duck ponds, watering holes, deer land management wildlife habitat improvement projects, wildlife conservation projects, our Kentucky farmhouse rehab project, Mrs. Kapper's rustic DIY barn wood and furniture projects, her DIY rustic farmhouse decor and much more country living adventure! Thank you. Kapper Outdoors (with Curtis Rogers), living the dream, one acre at a time.

    Kapper--Too much wasted effort. Park the trailer within the swing of the boom, so you can pick up the metal and put it on the trailer in one motion. Just FYI for the next time.

    • @kapperoutdoors
      @kapperoutdoors  3 роки тому

      I thought of that but several people were hand picking the yard and loading the trailer so I'd rather have the machine move it twice rather than increase the distance of the hand pickers. That is back breaking stuff hand picking. Thanks man, have a good one

    Oh yes load the metal, and go get 100, dollars for , it’s better then nothing, and out here in California it would be a blessing that you did not have to pay to drop it off at the junk yard, they don’t want any tin hauled into there yards, and they aren’t paying much for iron, 120 per ton, 2240 pounds in a ton of scrap metal, it’s called a gross ton, and that is how they all pay ton wise, kool if you gets some heavy metal on that load , you will make a little more, probably between 100, and500, for your load, if I was cleaning your yard I would stock pile it and wait till the price go up, kool thanks merry Christmas happy new year 20211111111, thanks BigAl California.
