#LinkinPark #Reaction
linkin park, breaking the habit, the charismatic voice, chester bennington, reaction video, linkin park breaking the habit reaction
Mike Shinoda (Keyboard, 2nd guitar, rapper, 2nd vocalist, songwriter and produced Linkin Park music) was one of the main ones who got through to Chester Bennington (lead vocalist and songwriter) get help with his sobriety. It was "Breaking the Habit," from their 2nd album "Meteora" Mike wrote the lyrics and showed it to Chester to give him that final nudge into wanting to get help, and when Chester read the lyrics, he just broke down and cried and it finally gave him that final courage to go into rehab and going to therepy. Then that song became his #2 favorite of theirs to perform. Then at anytime if Mike seen that Chester was really struggling with depression and sobriety he was one of the ones that would pull Chester back from that ledge.

The keyboardist (as well as rapper and singer, guitarist, producer, painter and author of most of Linkin Park's songs and music) is Mike Shinoda who wrote this song for his friend and for Chester. Chester cried when he recorded this song, but this song changed his life.
