Guys don't you think he knows what he's doing here. People comment like grind the ring to gap and cylinders don't have to be bored for that or you gotta measure the bore to piston gap. I'm a diesel mechanic working on trucks so I haven't done anything like that but I saw motorcycle guys fitting pistons in bores for two strokes by doing same resizing the bore and no measuring only fitting the piston and working it by hand like this and do it by feel. Only he used machine with a vertical set up and using a cutter not not sand paper on mandrel. I used similar machinery with horizontal mandrel for reeming steering knickle bushings for king pins for heavy trucks. Well that guy guy says that piston gotta be kinda almost dragging on the bore and barely almost not fall through the bore dry. For that two stroke aluminum shit cylinder made on Russia or it was chinese which probably even worse. And during break in the piston and ring would work utself into material for it to run gpod for long time and not rattle around right away. Only he gapped the rings after or picked right one. Anyway the oil there is giving him a gap good enough already and he knows by feel after doing it many many times around. And did nobody notice the ring gap shape itself in this video? It is not straight cut but S shaped therefore I conclude that this guy knows what he is doing here and done it before. Unlike most commenters here. 😊

Технологию машиностроения, никто не отменял.. 1, Цилиндр подгоняется под поршень (легко опускается под своим весом) 2, Кольца подгоняют по цилиндру, в соответствии ТУ зазоры. Цилиндр растачивается на станке, чтобы исключить элепсность и хонингуется в размер по поршню. То что он делает, заклинит, через 10мин. Тепловые зазоры обязателны, физику не обманешь...
The guy here bores the cylinder according to the ring gap, if you overbore till the gap is within tolerance, the bore is correct for the piston, assuming its a ring that doesn't need grinding for standard applications. I wouldn't do it this way, he doesn't even seem to be using a filler gauge, but he does what he needs to with what he has somewhere in Asia.

First off. This is a four stroke cylinder. People dont copy this as most cylinders for bikes are nickel seal and if you sand it out to suit ring gap ur mess up the cylinder. This must be a cheap Chinese steel liner cylinder or something! I do not recommend doing this.

It's not the cylinder it's the freaking clip that's needs grinding there's too much of a gap there that 4-stroke isn't going to run for very long having gas going to that Gap will only wash the oil off the head scratching the head making the motor garbage
@@AndreyLatushko видео про кольца было. Я точил в своё время, когда фуфло пошло, я про КамАЗ, привезли маслос.емные разборные, они не ходят обычно, набрал старые, большие и полдня точил. Масло у меня не кушал.
@@user-cf7wh3st9c, кольца же не сами по себе работают, а с поршнем. Видно, что поршень в вертикальном положении не опускается, хоть и в масле. Поэтому хоном и добивается увеличения размера. Непонятно только, почему цилиндр не вращает для равномерной обработки.
@@AndreyLatushko станки типовые, у нас тоже такие были, в своё время на таком станке мне подгоняли поршня от Запорожца, а в мвсле поршень может и не упасть. проверяется чистый поршень и гильза. На жирную бумагу ставишь гильзу и в неё поршень сверху вставил край и отпустил. Поршень должен медленно вниз опуститься, выдавливая воздух между гильзой и поршнём. Если падает почти камнем, нужно подбирать или поршня или гильзы, это практика, проверенная лично .
