@@BreezeLock you got an instagram for the build ?
That shift was quick
For anyone wondering, engine is still fine. The car has been sitting in my garage for a while since life got busy, but planning on driving her again very soon.
Edit: Also, I switched tuners from Motiv to Wedge. Steven at Wedge ironed out issues with his first base tune that Motiv could not resolve in 30+ iterations. I am a firm believer that Wedge is the best choice when it comes to tuning N54s and N55s with a DCT trans.
WoW impressive I would like to know what mods u v done !
Build ?

Can’t see the build list on the description. Super interested in seeing! Awesome car love it 👏🏼
I have N55 135i, I did M3 cowel conversion with BMS filters, Mosselman Oil thermostat, & fan sport cooling enabled to get all the temps down by a lot. Make it more reliable IMO, best cooling mods.
Oil thermostat mod isn't the best in my opinion. It will just make the engine oil take longer to get up to operating temp. If you live in a warm climate that shouldn't make much of a difference though. If you want cooling, the best thing to do is get an upgraded oil cooler.
Yes car has stock internals.
@@BreezeLock I didnt reverse the spring/valve. Its actually a different thermostat that opens sooner.
For street race. You shouldn’t need to be messing with oil temp .. you need that oil hot to protect engine.
Look into upgraded rad. Although you won’t see much diff on the street.
Mosselman isn’t the upgrade for oil cooling temps down… it will only take longer to get to 135c….. i drive my n55 on the Nordschleife! Only upgrade for temps is a extra oil cooler and you can keep stock thermostat…. It will keep it a 120c!
Fan sport cooling also has no difference in my opinion…
@@xZiMinDaveyy Mossemann upgrade is fantastic and significantly reduces temperatures. The warm up time is the same. 10min. An extra oil cooler isn't needed. I run double digits cooler than stock no matter the speed.
What exhaust setup are you running? Sound nice
Sheeeesh the pop and bangs
They’re fleeting honestly lol.
Cool car
We want more
Haha. Doing a lot of maintaining on the car now. Should be ready to rip in the spring.
Hey, nice car dude! I own a 335i e92 with dct. I was wondering that you run stock internals on your dct, I‘ve got a problem with rumbling noises from the middle/back of the car when I want to do a pull on low rpms. Example: 2k rpm 5th gear I push the pedal down and it starts rumbling as soon as the turbo starts charging. I‘m running around 380whp and 570-600nm torque. The internet says it’s the dual mass flywheel I need to get one for f8x dct‘s. Do you have a similar problem? Because I’m thinking about a turbo upgrade to get to 500whp therefore also more torque so the problem will get even worse.
Hope you can help me bro 😅
🇩🇪🔥😈🏎
the stock DCT can handle that much power?
N55 🥱
go fix your misfires

@@timjohana8878imes have changed. Fueling is far superior and less issue prone, therefore safer despite the naysayers that don’t actually know anything about these engines. B58 the new king anyway :)
i need to know what exhaust is on that
Port injection? I have same car and spec
what for a clutch ? original ?
What kind of psi and timing are you targeting to get 5XX+ whp with the 7670?
E30 and about 21-22psi since it’s stock MAP sensor.
@@BreezeLock how about which timing advance ? Thanks
Do you tuning the car
Do you have the link for MFactory Limited Slip Differential? Which ratio did you get? There are so many to choose. I am confused
Yes, and stock ratio. Not a lot of benefit from changing the ratio. If I did it again I would suggest an M3 diff and axels. It will provide more benefit from the additional wheel spacing options available than a different gear ratio would.
Is she pretty reliable I’m thinking of getting one but I don’t want to be stranded
The build, or 135s in general?
@@BreezeLock 135s
VRSF catless downpipe/exhaust?
Fully custom fabricated turboback exhaust with a small muffler at the midpipe.
Does the dct have upgrades??
Nope, however I have a SSP clutch pack sitting around for when it’s needed. I did end up slipping mine after extremely hard use, which was due to heat instead of power, once it cooled there was no slippage afterwards.
What spoiler do you have 👀
ebay carbon fiber m4 style spoiler lol
still holding up? thinking about getting an n55 for a daily
I daily my 135i n55 in college and push it at night, runs nice and hasn't failed me yet
I put 40k hard miles on a FBO stage 2+ N55 running mostly E85 in my 535 last year…like I beat the shit outta that car…outside of the 5 oil changes…I did nothing and it’s healthy.
That burble sounds horse but otherwise car sounds strong 💪🏼
power??? hp numbers? i was really considering one of the speedtech kits but.... theyre a bit pricey
Depends on the turbo you go with. Speedtech kits are priced extremely well... I don’t know of any big turbo kits priced cheaper.
@@BreezeLock big boost is priced reasonably well! however you have to acquire the supporting mods before going big turbo obviously! the speedtech kits are upwards of $4500-6k while big boost is around 3k respectably for the same type of power
@@Suavecito_p Bigboost is slightly cheaper. I paid $4k for my speedtech kit after shipping which is very close to big boosts price.... and you get a race proven quality turbo from one of the big manufacturers. I considered bigboost but the quality of the speedtech kit was more compelling to me. I’m not sure where you got 6k, their kits are 3800-4500 give or take depending on your turbo choice.
@@Suavecito_p If customer service is something you value I'd go Speedtech. Jeff has been tremendously helpful over there. Seems like BigBoost customer service issues have been creeping up.
@@Suavecito_p Don't go with bigboost turbo kit the quality dosnt compare to speedtech! Also the bigboost turbo kit tends to have alot more problems than the speedtech external wastgate kit.
What gear did you dyno the DCT on?
Michael Vaccarelli 5th gear. 7th is 1:1 though on a DCT so the numbers would have been higher, but it would have exceeded the dyno roller speed limit.
Taylor Horn gotcha, going to dyno my DCT soon and was wondering what was the best gear to do it so guess I will do 5th also
Michael Vaccarelli Cool. DCTs notoriously read lower on the dyno because of this. I would add 8% to what you see on the dyno to get a more accurate number. Other than that I recommend getting the XHP DCT flash to disable autoshift at redline. I made this video before the flash was released, and you can hear it shift at the end of the pull.
Any reason you went with the EFR kit instead of the External Wastegate kit?
Brandon You can actually do an EWG setup with an EFR turbo, just need to purchase it without the IWG option. My main reasons for not going with a turbo like a Garret, Precision, or Borg Warner’s Airwerks lineup was mostly because of the spool speed you get with an EFR turbo, as well as the overall reliability of it and material quality. I could have shoehorned a larger turbo in there if I didn’t go EFR, but the top end of the 7670 is more than I’d like to push the stock motor anyway.
Taylor Horn yeah that makes sense spool is a big factor with me also and i know tuning can aid in spooling as well. Im looking to go with a ewg kit with the s363sxe or maybe pony up a few more bucks for the ewg efr 7670. My motor will have upgraded rod bearings and arp headstuds nothing too crazy but i wont lie im looking for around 650whp w/o port injection just the helix overdrive and a E mixture

Is this a safe hp number to daily?
Yes. I drove it hard and still saw factory compression and leak down levels after I tested the engine 8 months later. Just change your oil frequently and keep up on maintenance.
@@BreezeLock ah I see thank you for replying I have a e92 N55 so I was wondering how much the motors can actually push on stock motor do you know if there’s any brands that sell forge internals?
@@BreezeLock what do you think the max hp is on the N55 for E92 e87 models
@@OtherCoder6 take a look at big boost they sell some internal parts that u may be interested in. And also on stock turbo the max you’re gonna see is probably 400-420 crank and that’s more than likely gonna be through an E mix map of some sort like e50 and higher.
