- Hey guys quick little update of the built motor. She is running excellent but still need to dial in the tune. I will keep you guys updated as much as I can. As always thanks for watching!!

Honestly, genius color choice. I always joke about building a sleeper and wrapping it in the gold/tan color you see old people driving, however, this color on the 335 is insanely crisp AND pretty stealthy at a glance. Sick whipski.

Had an 07 with the Platinum Bronze Metallic color and a black/silver interior. it was a base model. Miss it but glad to have it off my hands. I'll get back in a E92 N54 when I can actually afford to mod/maintain it without blowing a hole through my wallet

Gotta love Silver Metallic Bronze 😻😻 makes me miss my 323i. Anyways I totally recommend that you get the android CarPlay unit so you can run your mhd gauges through that instead of your phone plus you get a bunch of other goodies.

Subscribed! Great video. Love how we can see the guages and such the entire time. Is that just a regular android tablet by the shifter? Which rods did you go with? THe rods are super important. Also, not sure why someone would go through all that and just drop the stock heads back in :( Our cars are very similar actually, love that interior.

Thanks man, the sound you are hearing are the wastegates opening and closing to control boost.
Please to keep both hands on the steering wheel instead of holding the shifter. Powerful cars like this you gotta be safe my man. Don't want you crashing such a sweet ride. Think about what's best for her; they like it when you handle them with care and show that you are always ready to protect them. Awesome car tho👌👍

How expensive would this car be for a 21 year old? Insurance, maintenance, etc? I'm in florida and thinking of getting one because I love seeing povs of this car, I want to drive it myself already.
Insurance is $60 a month for this car. As for maintenance it just depends on what kind of power you are seeking. But usually just do the basic maintenance and you should be good.
What kind of exhaust setup ? Those pops when shifting are nice
Stock exhaust, with muffler delete and vibrant 1792 resonators welded where the secondary cats used to be.
Does your motiv twin disk screech while engaging in 1st? Looking to swap out my current DKM twin disk.
Yes, but it’s more of a rotating grinding noise. But it’s just one of those things that are meant to be.

Is that flutter supposed to sound like that when your on WOT? Sounds like the turbo is cutting air and thats not good, maybe im wrong??
It’s the electronic boost controller it is controlling the amount of boost to the wastegate in order to hit a boost target higher than whatever strength spring is in the wastegate. The chopping sound is the wastegate valve opening and closing to maintain the target boost level. Plus im open dump with a dual wastegate setup. perfectly normal

This is how you build an n54, I hate when people destroy these engines because they just assume they are completely bullet proof
I gave up on my n54 after I kept blowing up turbos , but this makes me want to do a fully rebuilt one again, unless theres another better route to take for a 600-900 hp build thats reliable
